wait a minute... if women can't preach, they CERTAINLY can't punch out someone that disagrees with them.... especially a man! That would be the ultimate usurpation of authority, wouldn't it? :cool:

and remember, what I am saying here has nothing to do with the question of women speaking in church...I am addressing a much bigger problem

just one nagging little question tho: if a woman can prophesy in church, that IS speaking? right?



so if someone loves the word so much? take note cause that IS what it says and don't come back with women need to shut up cause God said so...I already said I do not agree with a woman pastor...at the same time, no doubt there are some fine ones just as there are some men who would do better to just shut the hay up and sit down

I have given scripture only as it is written, stating personally I have no problem with a woman speaking nor singing in the church. And just as you, I do have a problem with a woman being a pastor. That is the main issue here. Not every scripture do I have to support 100% for it still to be supportive of the main point. It is clearly written that a woman is not to be a preacher. That is the main point of the thread and I am in agreement 100% with what the Bible says in that regard. I do not have any dislike for women in general. Only those who wish to skirt the truth in favor of their own desires.

It is loyaldisciple not Lloydsdisciple. I don't know Lloyd. I am weary of trying to convince people of the truth that have such closed minds and believe they are wiser than the word of God. Where are the people on here that are really looking for any help ? Maybe I will go and see if I can help any of them.

I was just about to comment on how arrogant you are. You seem to believe you are God's gift to the church. What kind of help could someone with your attitude possibly have to offer?

I have just quoted the scripture little lady. If you don't like it, then your gripe is not with me. You should speak unto my higher power and ask Him why He wrote it that way. Then you can call Him arrogant if you still wish to complain.
