It would be a real shame if some members were to be viewing Paul's writing as a [power] trip over women. As brilliant of a mind that Paul was fortunate to be given, he clearly does not show any stereotype between the genders. He clearly is in line with the [customs] of the Ancient Times. He clearly is [projecting] those customs by promoting {men} to lead.

But then again, we have numerous records of the [customs] from several Ancient Civilizations that reveal in Paul's day, the entire world of that day and beyond Mesopotamia, all viewed women as the property of either a Father, Husband, Master or Guardian. It's not even a stretch of imagination here why Paul list men. For one, this is a private letter. He is writing according to the customs where these Churches were located. He is not documenting anything here like James (half brother of Yeshua) would in his role.

Reading the posts of "some" here does give hint to those who view women as less than. You need to forgive that woman you believe has done you wrong before it eats a hole right through you! Women are a Blessing. Us Men are assbackward fools and stubborn as a barnyard mule.

Again you have only a surface knowledge of what is being presented. The widow would turn to her husbands family to raise up children in the name of her dead husband. Under thirty is relative to her ability to bear children.

The husband of one wife means married one time not having additional wives not divorcing and remarrying.

It's quite funny when you accuse someone else of having "only a surface knowledge of what is being presented" and then make an elementary error with regard to the numbers involved. You say "Under thirty" but "threescore years" is sixty.

So, please don't misunderstand, (however) How would you run a church with television, radio, music, crisis counseling, private school and youth ministries? Or would you just not have it attempt such undertakings?
Simple. it is not my desire or wish to run a church that has TV, radio. music, crisis couselling, private school, and youth ministries. I would much rather run a church that met daily for the apostles doctrine, fellowship, prayer and eating meals together. You know, like they did in the New Testament.

OK so that's all well and good. I was a crisis counselor at one that hosted shows for TBN, via satellite for the whole world to see. The idea was that reaching and sharing the Gospel with world is the great commission and now we have better tools than 2000 years ago. That was nearly 40 years ago. We had 100's of students. 1,000's of folks would come to worship 3X every Sunday. We had a very large staff that need women to minister to women. I don't care if you have church in a garage, on a beach, in a park or in a huge theater or stadium. Like Billy Grahams harvest festivals did. But many ministries need female ministers. Like Christian battered or homeless women's shelters.

It's ok with me, if your church dosn't have as much. Your church is needed too.

Paul said that the slave should return to his master. If it meant his death then his death would have been for the testimony of Christ. It could have been so the slave master would receive a witness of Christ's ability to save the mans soul.

Women can never be the husband of one wife.

Which is why there is no need to mention it.
Women with hareems of husbands is all but unheard of in human history.
It's a vice only men must be warned to avoid.

There's no where that tells them to not share the kingdom because women were created in the likeness of God

John 4:28 Then the woman left her water jar, went back into the town, and said to the people, “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” So they left the town and made their way toward Jesus.

Also the apostle Paul, Peter, Acts and Jude are all false writings and all true believers will be outcasted by everyone. There is not one true church because the entire world hates the truth

That's great. I prefer small house gatherings myself.
That doesn't mean there is no place for big churches or for Christians to use modern technologies to minister.
It's all good.

Haste makes waste. Three score is indeed sixty. Glad you are here to point out the minutia.

To newcomers I usually say "Welcome to CC", but if you actually believe what you wrote here, I will have to call you a false teacher, and withhold my welcome. Please don't derail this thread with unrelated topics.

Thank you for acknowledging your error. It is unfortunate that you chose to add an insult to it.

I'm a false teacher for not going with the popular opinion? You should know that the bible tells you that man is evil and you cannot trust man

No, false to say:

"the apostle Paul, Peter, Acts and Jude are all false writings... "

How? Where did the scripture say that God will create an infallible book? Have you read Deuteronomy 13?

Why not? If I use scripture then I am using the knowledge God has given. I am not speaking of myself or the world
Since you reject the writings of Paul and the other apostles, you and I don't agree on what "scripture" is.

I will not participate further in derailing this thread. If you want to discuss the content of Scripture, start another thread.
