I would appreciate it if you wouldn't put words in my mouth I am not saying Jesus failed and I would like it if you would not say such things. Again can you tell me without any doubt that you are perfect and sinless?
Yes, he can tell you that.

Blain, you will never convince this guy otherwise. I promise.

Ya'll are wasting your time with this one. I have run into him before.

Yea these type of posts usually are created by trolls who just like to mess around.....

plus his profile says he was "saved at birth" which is bs....you can't be born a Christian as much as you can be born a doctor.....

this smells of troll...profile details and all trolls smell worse than dead fish from a mile away....

the only way to live sinless is somewhere in the middle of nowhere with nothing and noone in sight.. then it may be possible
But even then, because of our sinful nature, we would find a way. When we get to heaven then we can begin to live a sinless life as sin cannot exist in heaven. We are pretty good at convincing ourselves otherwise.

Yes, he can tell you that.
The thing is I don't think he can or rather will, he doesn't come out and say it he hints it and if he continues to not accept my challenge then by his own words or rather his lack of words he proves himself wrong because only those who are perfect and sinless can preach others about being perfect and sinless and so if he cannot come out and tell me this then by default his own doctrine has defeated him.

I don't know for sure if he is a troll or not but I want to test his belief and see if it stands.

Except the bible says we already reside in Heaven (phi 3:20) and since as you say there is no sin in Heaven.....hmmmmm.

Do you really think we are in heaven right now? are we in paradise? are we in fathers arms for all eternity? is there not sin abound all around us all throughout the world? if this is heaven then there is no hope because if this is the best heaven has to offer then God overstated what life with him in paradise would be

And herein lies the real issue, we can either believe what we "think" or "feel" or what the Word of God says.

No the issue is what the scripture says in our own views, if you take that verse you posted in the literal sense then yes it would say we are in heaven right now however not everything in the bible can be taken literal a lot of times the scriptures have a message that is not obvious to the reader. For instance the scripture says to be perfect as your father in heaven is perfect now seeing this in the literal sense then John love would absolutely correct in his preaching however even though the scripture doesn't say it at first glance the holy spirit tells us this scripture is saying to (strive) to be perfect and in the same sense the verse you posted doesn't mean we are literally in heaven it has a different message that only those who allow the holy spirit to speak to them can see

Again, the fact you can't see it or allow yourself to see it does not make it untrue. The Word also says we are the righteousness of God in Christ and that we are as Christ is here and now. I usually post the verses when referencing them but it does no good as those who can't put aside their pride and self righteousness either don't read them or read something extra into them.

Exactly! If the word says it then that's what it is... Just bc one hasn't seen it nor experienced it does not make it untrue... It means they have missed it somewhere..

pride and self righteousness? My friend don't assume you know my heart simply because I disagree with you does not mean I am prideful and self righteous. I don't have to see what you see in the scriptures I only have to see what God sees in the scriptures, my heaven is in fathers arms in which I know him and have him and have a kind love and closeness with him to my greedy hearts desire, I know this isn't heaven because I hunger for so much more of him and until I am in his arms and his heart is mine to know and have all I could ever desire then I am not in heaven.

Our spirit is in heaven and is perfect,
Our soul is on earth and is in the process of being sanctified.

Matt 18
10 “Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven.

Our lampstand (our spirit) has an angel over each branch of it ... seven branches, seven angels ... Jesus walks amidst the lampstand (our spirit) ...

Our spirit IS in heaven and holy and perfect before God
Our soul is here still in the process of being sanctified.

See the book of Revelation.

In the regeneration our souls will be raised up incorruptible.

Strive, which puts us in a literal perfect state..

We are seated in heavenly places in the spirit not in our physical body..

Put the scripts as all being attainable one day and everyone will always think they have nothing to do with what's at work.. All God, Jesus and the HS..

Some cannot understand this ... yet ... because they are still on milk and cannot move onto meat ... because they refuse to accept that we are called to walk blamelessly in Christ.

They say home is where your heart is and my heart is in fathers arms and so in a sense I am in heaven however how does this relate to being sinless? Snookman referenced us being in heaven already in response to someone saying until we are in heaven we will not be sinless and perfect

You do realize this discussion is talking of being perfect and sinless here on earth not in our spirit correct?

I am a follower of Jesus, I obey His commands and pray for others, preach peace and love,
salvation through faith in Christ on the cross for the forgiveness of sins.
I put my trust in Him that my sins are forgiven, I have repented, confessed and asked for
mercy. My heart was transformed by His spirit, love dwells within me and flows, but in
the end I rely of Christ to say I am His.

It is the Hand of God, that sows and chooses. I can but run the race.
When I praise my Lord my heart lifts up to the heavens, but with all this confusion, redefining
faith, belief, goals, sin, acceptance, identity it is enough to wonder do many know Christ?

That for me is to be a christian, to humbly follow...

"They" can say what they will. God says my citizenship is in Heaven and I await the return of Jesus from there. It also says im righteous and condemnation free. I know it's a hard concept, I know it doesn't "feel" like that. I have learned if I think or feel one thing and God says something else one of us is mistaken. Hint, it isn't God.
