You have that wrong too. The elect is so great an amount that they can not be numbered (Gen 32:12). God is talking to Jacob, who he changed his name to be called Israel, (Gen 32:28), saying I will surly do you good and make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude. The strait gate in Matt 5 is not talking about leading to eternal life, but to the abundant life that those of his elect have that have been revealed the truths of Jesus's doctrine. The wide gate are also the elect of God who have not been revealed the truth because they are going about to establish their own righteousness by their works. The people going in both gates are God's elect and will all go to heaven because Christ died for them.
https://www.gotquestions.org/elect-of-God.html believe me, I have experienced it first hand, but there are the chosen few. Set aside before they were even born for the Glory of God. I have been like that since late primary school. To long a story to post here.

you might not have a (supposed) Calvinist problem in the World if more Christians were encouraged to and taught others to keep the Commandments of God. 📖 💙

Exodus 20:3

"3Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
I just read Deut 6. There’s nothing wrong with regarding the Word of God respectfulyy. But, if you mean “do” the commandments....then you must bind them on your forearm and your forehead.

Who DIED for our redemption and made it possible to have a right relationship with God?

The blood of animals was no longer sufficient for redemption.

Hint,It wasn't just any man,but it is Jesus,God's Only begotten son! John 3:16.
He alone without the need for a council,a committee,or any of the so called forefathers of the many denodenomination agreed with the Father b4 the foundations of the world to be that perfect unblemished sacrafice for the sins of ALL fallen mankind!

Jesus is one we owe allegiance to and ONLY HIM!

My Calvin guru budd

Instead of being so focused on my walk with the Lord.

You seriously need to focus on your own walk.

You also forgot to mention that you and a few others, including me.....were called out by once fallen for our bad behaviour....remember?

That is why I dropped you like a ton of bricks.....because of your behaviour.....by the way...I know many scholars who know the bible inside out.

That does not make them born again.....are “you” born again?
Out of curiosity, have you realized Paul never talks about the necessity of, anyone of us while we were still sinners, to be "born again"?

Born again appears to be a unique focus of the apostle John, who often talks about this in both his gospel, as well as his letters 1 John.

If one isn’t born again, then they won’t enter into the Kingdom of God.......God testifies to our spirit that we are his child.....we are recognised by God....all of our past sins have been erased.set free by God’s Grace...we did nothing to deserve it.

Brought into the light of the Lord.......a dramatic change...in ones life.....

A sinner is just that as we once were.

Agree not funny.

I know you want to justify your actions over the past few months.

If there is someone in your family you are praying for to be saved, just remember the God of Calvinism may have created that person with no hope for salvation.
I hope you are asking your mentor the hard questions about his dogma rather than following him blindly.
Amen......why even witness, preach, proclaim the truth......According to the Calvinites, you have no choice and you either make the cut or are up the proverbial creek.......!

I suppose you equate Kingdom of God to Heaven?

The question is, do you think the Jews in John 3 understood the term "Kingdom of God" as Heaven too, like yourself?

Just remember I don’t take on board ..all that man preaches....I said “I listen”....I listen and observe many on here......that doesn’t mean I take on their belief system......unless it is scriptural.

I have the Holy Spirit as my helper......I look and absorb only his word.

Again your accusing me of following preacher blindly......are you me?

My faith is extremely simple,I don’t need to argue it out on a forum....I am so blessed to have the knowledge that God resides in my heart.......and is changing my character daily..to be more like Jesus.

Your will Lord...not my will.....

I have no idea bro....I can only speak for what I believe...how God leads me through scripture and talks to me through it.

Interesting question though...I will give it some thought.thank you.

Well the verse that you took that doctrine from was obviously John 3:3.

So you are saying God told you that "Kingdom of God" in that verse refers to Heaven? That is indeed very interesting.

All I got was...only a born again will see the Kingdom of God....that scripture spoke to me because I am born again.

No word about Heaven.....but my own belief is that the Kingdom of God...is referring to Heaven...
There we will stand before our mighty God!.on our death..in Spirit ..my belief bro.

Okay, thanks for clarifying what you really meant when you stated "God leads me through scripture and talks to me through it".

1 Peter 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

God’s Commandments are simple and direct yet some folks blindly and arrogantly embrace skewed teachings of false prophets (false gods) and it’s no fault of mine.

Christ’s death only covers your past sins and not your sins of today and tomorrow? That means you’re condemned.
