Then I don't think we're talking about the same thing. What are you saying is an "Adamic nature?" I've never heard that term.
Yeah, the term The Devil is just a personification of your earthly nature.
Jesus destroyed his on the cross - Hebrews 2:14.

your mind being renewed is taking on the Mind of Christ.

The flesh will not accept the mind of Christ because it is a Spiritual mind which is at odds with always.

You battle the flesh everyday.
You left off what is being transformed by the renewing of the mind. The Body. Read Romans 12:1-2.
Of course, it's not taught within most all churches - too intense for them.

One devil, many demons as has been noted

Be less demon conscious and more Christ conscious. Demons cannot 'possess' one who is in Christ. They can harass and do quite a bit, but they cannot own a saved person. Possession denotes ownership.
The Devil owns most all christians which is why they "live after the flesh and die" - Romans 8:13

the renewing of the carnal mind is by the word of God period. The flesh is not saved or transformed. The change mind is is one convinced by faith what the word of God says John 15:7 :

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

Phil 3:15
says :

Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you.

Verse 16 says walk in that same mind. We are being renewed daily was have not yet arrived. This has nothing to do with salvation as much as it does sanctification process. The flesh is not saved that is why it dies and we suffer a physicals death.

But in faith we believe God will raise us up.

That is unbiblical. The devil doesn't own Christians, Christians were purchased with the Precious Blood of Jesus.

The devil I read about in the bible is defeated!

I am more than a conquer in Christ Jesus. No weapon formed against me will prosper. I have many battles YET VICTORY IS ASSURED IN CHRIST!

take that weak, fake outlook of Gods children back to the pit of hell.

Oh. You don't believe in a literal fallen angel named Satan? I think "the devil" is just the name for a real, live, thinking, spiritual being.

A born again Christian wouldn't want to.
His desires and affections have been shifted from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of God's Son.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NASB) Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

Romans 5:5 (NASB) and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

You'd have to use scripture.
Mine is John 18:14 "I will not leave you comfortless: I WILL COME TO YOU" -
Jesus was speaking of the Holy Spirit.
Imagine that!
Thats correct. This is what i am talking about

Correct - you know any christians that "live after the flesh and die"? - Romans 8:13
All people are dying, Christian ore not. Living according Gods word ore not. The different is the ressuraction. The one to eternal life with God, the other to eternal live without God in the place named hell.

Jesus is the Resurrection -
Wrong again - you obviously are in cognitive dissonance concerning the obvious in Romans 8:13.
Here is another one - "He that keeps my sayings shall never see death" - John 8:51

No answers if you avoid the Word of God -
like Ephesians 2:2 "the prince of the power of the air (THE DEVIL): the spirit that works IN the children of disobedience".
Any christians disobedient out there? - "Living after the flesh unto death" Romans 8:13.

So, 'Can a christian have a devil?
Yup, if they want to - live after the flesh.
Quite a number of Christians in the Corinthian Church were "carnal" but Paul never said they were possessed (had a demon in them)! 1Cor 3v1-8.

He taught them the great need to discipline their body as he did. 1Cor 9v24-27.

It is impossible for a born again, washed in the Blood of Jesus believer to be possessed, and any other teaching is a lie of the Devil and perversion of Scripture!

You'd think not, yet they bow to the flesh and die all the time - Romans 8:13.
You're merely not clued-in on to what the Devil is. Most all are not - they hold on to superstitions, legends and folklore.

insulting a person will not make your point more biblical . we who will never see death is speaking of those who have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ I will never see death in the context of the final death of hell eternal Yet Jesus said those who die will live again and those who believe in me will never die, that is speaking of what is to come. Get off your high horse guy.

"The spirit that works IN the children of disobedience" - Eph 2:2.
You're think of the latin name Lucifer - which Isaiah 14:16 says, "Is this the MAN that causes the earth to tremble" - they always leave that verse out when trying to teach about the DEVIL.

I'm always on my high white horse in the heavenlies - I notice you did not address Romans 8:13.
Ignoring Romans 8:13 does not make it any less true.

the word "Devil " must be used in context many scriptures use the word " devil ".

he has a devil, he cast out devils by the power of the devil.

If the devil is 3rd dimensional entity, tell me where the snake is slithering about today -
"That Old Serpent who IS THE DEVIL AND SATAN" - Rev 12:9 and 20:2
