Prove me wrong. Posters on this thread are doing it all the time. Everybody knows it. Including you.
I already proved you wrong from Titus 2 & 3.

IN TITUS IT SAYS: For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to ALL men.

YOUR THEOLOGY SAYS: For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to SOME men.

Should we believe you or believe God?

Funny how these Calvinites call us free willers....

Choose you this day whom you will serve.

Sounds like free will to me...

Adam had choice
Cain had choice
Noah had choice
Abram had choice
Moses had choice
The Children of Israel had choice
Daniel had choice
Saul had choice
David had choice
The rich young ruler had choice
Jesus had choice
Peter had choice
The pastors and 7 churches in Asia had choice
Every human on the planet has choice

And the INVISIBLE testifies, CREATION testifies and NO ONE is without excuse BECAUSE all have a choice.

No.....we are not the ones in a cult or bound under the blindness of a man from the 1500's that peddled a satanic false gospel.....!

But if it is unpleasing in your sight to serve the LORD, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living (or the false god of Calvin whom you worship now). As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD!”

Too be honest.....Calvinism is no different than all of the other man made religions like Mormonism, Jehovah's Witness etc......it should not be allowed to be peddled because it promotes a false god that hates men, makes them for hell, only in bias chooses some and sells a gospel-less, no choice, forced salvation......I am sickened by it's evil and surprised it is allowed here....

Calvinism harmonizes like this:

Take a more obscure less understandable verse, interpret incorrectly....

then change word meanings in other verses in order to support the first faulty premise.
Such as the word KOSMOS and make it equal elect.......

Thou shalt NOT die <--one word makes it a lie and to change the word of God to fit one's theology = a lie!!!

World in John 3:16 does not equal ELECT!

A Simple Sermon for Seeking Souls
Now, I think, I shall not this morning err in his point of view, for I shall assume that some of my congregation, at least, are totally unacquainted with the great plan of salvation. And you that know it well, and have tried its preciousness, will bear with me, I am sure, whilst I try in the simplest words that human lips can put together to tell out the story of how men are lost, and how men are saved according to the words of my text by calling upon the name of the Lord. Well then, we must begin

Now that is an illustration of what I have been saying. You are wrongly building DOCTRINE on this ephemeral nuance of TWO WORDS. TWO WORDS!

1) ALL
2) WORLD

Your interpretation of what is ALL and WOLRD are undoubtedly wrong and easily proven so. But this whimsical theory is wrecked, curbstomped, crushed, annihilated by two things. What the bible DOES SAY about election. And what the bible DOESN'T SAY about election.

God chose Abraham.
God chose Israel.
God chose the Apostles.
And God chose every single believer who ever was or who will ever be.

Put a fork in this thread we are done.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Is this just a select group? Or does all mean everyone?

I have Scripture to back me up. Tons of them. You have posted zero.

Jesus says God chose us. Never...ever..does He say we first chose Him.

Pauls says God the exact same thing.

All the other books of the NT say the exact same thing.

So far the free willers are holding an empty bag. Everyone here now knows it.
If you had tons of them you wouldn't camp so hard on John 6:44 and Romans 9 even after they've been dealt with. We apply consistent hermeneutics to all of the Scripture looking at their context to bring out the meaning, in contrast to your pretext version of reading the Scriptures where you stomp your feet and say how iron clad your doctrine is even though you can't establish it without treating Scripture verses unequally, in some places taking your surface gloss and in others insisting that the natural way to read words like "all" is wrong because it is in conflict with your doctrine. You don't break your doctrine on the Scriptures but hunt and peck verses you can twist to uphold what you want the Bible to say.

Amen....and the Grace of God that brings salvation has shined upon ALL MEN.....

they absolutely deny truth, skew truth, skew word definitions, embellish the word, twist what we say, deny what they say and factually peddling the ramblings of a man's opinion from the mid 1500's while claiming it is of God.

They do the same thing with John 3:16......saying the word translated world from Kosmos means the elect......there is NO contextual honesty or integrity in what they are trying to sell!!

Within the framework of salvation, you show me ONE single solitary scripture that says:

A person CHOSE to believe
A person CHOSE to be redeemed
A person CHOSE Christ
A person CHOSE God
A person CHOSE to receive the Holy Spirit

Chose, choose, chosen, Whatever.....find form of the verb.
Go ahead........make my day!

Acts 26:19
So what exactly are you trying to prove that scripture? That Paul CHOSE Christ on the Emmaus road? I don't know if you're trying to embarrass yourself but you should be embarrassed.

That Scripture indicates ONLY that Paul was obedient to the call that was PROVIDED by Jesus because PAUL was elected from eternity past, the irrefutable fact of which is conclusively proven when he later received the Holy Spirit and then believed. Paul was questionably of the elect because the golden chain of redemption WAS COMPLETELY FULFILLED, according to God's predetermined plan from eternity past. THAT is how a person becomes saved.

Again I say you free willers are holding an empty bag.

Absolutely everyone everyone. Every single solitary person born since Adams fall.
This is known with certainty of course when one is dutiful in harmonizing the scriptures. It is obvious and should be.
Are you joking or........?????

Spurgeon was truly the champion of the doctrine of election. Nobody did it better. Well maybe Arthur W. Pink did as good a job as he.

Both of these men are absolutely 100% correct. Their teaching on the matter was flawless and beyond reproach.

Don't go about twisting once again.. the choice is the ability to believe upon hearing the Gospel ... believe what?

Believe in Christ for salvation.

The bible is filled with people who chose to believe in God!!

42 And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!” 43 And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.”

Who exercised belief and expressed it ... the thief and Jesus responded subsequently to that belief.

Paul did not receive the Holy Spirit until he believed.

Oh so Paul was selected from eternity past ...so then ... the elect are never under God's Wrath and
the faithless are God‘s chosen/elect

No one is elect (a descriptor) until they have faith.

As I said an empty bag. Insinuations implications and zero scriptures.

I challenge anyone on this board to show me ONE SINGLE SOLITARY scripture where it clearly states that a person CHOSE Christ. Come on....Come on let's see it. Enough shucking and jiving and conniving let's see the scriptures. Let's go.

By the free-willlers standard of measure it should be EVERYWHERE in dozens if not hundreds of places. But it is NOT everywhere it is NOWHERE!
