Yes God wants us to be sinless and walk in His ways, but that is not what this debate is about.
It is about WHO JESUS CHRIST IS and how HE WAS BORN OF A VIRGIN and the ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD.

It is obvious in our discussions that we serve a different God. Lets look at the difference in the God you serve and the one Jesus served and the one I serve.

In most of your testimonies about your God you say your God is a man and is yet to come and you are waiting His arrival through the clouds. You say your God is coming to deliver you someday from this world. Your God is going to take you out of this world and sit you in some faraway place called heaven a utopia where lil angels fly about in white robes. You say He is going to bring a new heaven and earth. You are much like the Hebrews out of Egypt.
My testimony is God is not a man but Spirit and has come and made His abode in the man. He came to Mary and made His abode in her, He came to Jesus and made His abode in him in Matt 3:16, He brought a new heaven and earth to the man, Mary and Jesus whole life took a different turn after this event. He did to Paul on the road to Damascus. He did the same in 120 in an upper room, and He did the same in Moses and some others. and He did the same in me.
I no longer have to look through a cloud darkly, he came through that cloud that had me blinded to Him and He did in me what He did in these that we read of. I was like you and was looking for a man as a God, but when I met Him face to face I fell on my face as dead and cried out my Lord and my God I have been deceived for so long, now I see and I am that I am.
You say you have communication with God in prayer and you pray to a God that is not here and is yet to come and reveal to you who He is. May I ask how will you know Him if He stood in front of you and said I am Jesus Christ. How would you distinguish a man claiming to be a God from anyone else? How would you treat a man who says I am the Christ, follow me. How would treat a man who said I am the way and if you will follow me I will show you great and might things. Follow me and I will show you how to be one with my Father. He in you and you in Him as one. Follow me and I will lead you to my Fathers kingdom. Does any of that sound familiar?
My God came to me, I followed Him and He made me one with Him. My God I can communicate with because He is here now and sups with me.
What good is a God that isn’t here, is yet to come, will not answer your prayes, and is for some folk for another time past or for a future but never for now for you?
For 2000 years you have been looking for this God and all the while He has been knocking at mans door screaming … Here I am, let me into your world and I will change your world into a new heaven and earth where righteousness abides , where there is no sin and you sit on my throne with Him. My kingdom is not of this world my kingdom is within you. My kingdom does not come with observation as you are seeking for a heaven out there for the sweet by and by. My kingdom is within you.
That is the difference in the God you are waiting for and the one I serve and know and did come. As long as you make Him wait, you will never ever see Him. And I will tell you a truth, if you can’t see Him now, what makes you think you will when you are dead? There is a great gulf fixed between heaven and hell and once you have crossed over into death, there is no coming back. You do not believe Him now that He will come to you and be in you and you have missed Him already.
That is the difference in a living God and a God who is still in a grave and is yet to come.

Gary, I did read it all. And what you've said does not convince me, any more than anything else you have said has convinced ANYONE, that you even KNOW Jesus Christ, let alone that you are 'one with Him'.

You're absolutely right about one thing; you and I certainly DO serve different gods- I don't know what name to call yours by, but mine is God, Christ Jesus.
And I believe He IS HERE, now, with me, among us, in everything. NOT as a man on earth, but His spirit is all around us if we just take the time to notice. My God is NOT dead in a grave. He WAS, once. Not now. Jesus Christ's FLESH AND BLOOD BODY was raised from the dead and ascended into heaven.
Jesus Christ IS my hope of glory, but not in the way you've been preaching. God's mercy and love, salvation through Christ, is my hope of glory. Forgiveness for my sins-the ones I have committed, and the ones I will commit before I die- is my hope of glory.
Tell us, Gary, why should YOUR way for us be better than GOD'S way for us? Why should we listen to you, heed your message, when WE ALREADY have listened to the message of Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior and heeded HIS message?

Gary, you have one of the weirdest, most perverted views of the Holy Spirit that I have ever seen. Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are not the same being. When Jesus left earth, He sent us the Holy Spirit as a comforter, who would lead us into all truth. I have accepted the Holy Spirit, and He does walk with me. He tells me what path my life should take, what to say to people, what threads to post in, and shows me error so that I will not receive it. And, He has told me that you are a nut-job who has no idea what you're talking about. The Holy Spirit did not hang naked on a cross to take the punishment for my sins. Jesus did. It is by HIS stripes we are healed. To receive salvation, you have to accept JESUS, implying anything else is heresy. I would encourage anyone who has accepted Jesus to also accept the Holy Spirit, BUT THEY ARE NOT THE SAME BEING! Jesus is not dead, but alive, He dwells in heaven and within those who have accepted Him. The Holy Spirit will dwell in those who accept Him as well, but they are not one in the same. At some point, Gary, you began leaning on your own understanding, and stopped seeking truth, choosing instead to follow your ego, deciding that you know best. May you serve as an example to us of what can happen if we choose to stop seeking God and begin relying on ourselves..........Please, everyone, ask to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and beg Him to keep your thinking correct, so that you will remain in truth, and won't be deceived by the likes of Gary. The Hope of His coming is thee major event for a believer...and he belittles it. Apparently the jesus in him isnt the same Jesus

Im not trying to convence you of anything. I was only comparing your God with mine. Your God is what it is and so is mine.

Well it is like this. He came, He took me out of this world, He made a new heaven and earth, all things became new, He in me and In Him as one, same mind, same SPirit.
And Jesus isnt in me at all Christ is, Jesus came only to lead me to the Christ. And He is manifest in me. Salvation is Gods SPirit manifest in your mortal flesh. I know you dont believe Him iin that but that really is His way for you like it or not. And the heresies are, that He is not come, and He cant take away your sin. and that you cant have His mind, and that you cant have His SPirit, and you cant be perfected in Him even as your Father in heaven is perfect. Now that is heresy against the one who said He will come to you and be in you. You cant have any of these things untill you let Him and He does,
I have shared it over and over and over and over again. Gods SPirit comes to you, He opens up all of His heaven, all of what He has to offer us. His SPirit in you, Christ in you, You being anointed of God. I simply cant open that to anyone. that is between the individual and God. These who refuse His coming to them can only speculate what was in Jesus Christ. But we who have recieved know what was in Jesus HCrist because the same is in us. God is the only one who can come thgough that door, but we must open it to let Him in. He is knocking.
