Morning Shiloah!!!!

They are having the same argument in Sudan. I would imagine it's going on everywhere on the planet. The world is becoming enlightened with Gods Sabbath message! So,, don't be depressed... This message will rise to a loud cry! And soon,, the latter rain will be poured out...
You bet it will Michael

JAMES 5 [7] BE PATIENT therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, UNTIL HE RECEIVE THE EARLY AND LATTER RAIN.[8] Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for THE COMING OF THE LORD draweth nigh.[9] Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.

What is this new testament scripture speaking of? The early and latter rain? Its something to be received.

DEUT.11 [13] And it shall come to pass, IF YE SHALL HEARKEN DILIGENTLY UNTO MY COMMANDMENTS which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,[14] That I WILL GIVE YOU THE RAIN of your land in his due season, THE FIRST RAIN AND THE LATTER RAIN, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.

Rain in due season. The first rain and the latter rain, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments

HOSEA 6 [1] Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.[2] After two days will he revive us: in THE THIRD DAY HE WILL RAISE US UP, AND WE SHALL LIVE IN HIS SIGHT.[3] Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and HE SHALL COME UNTO US AS THE RAIN, AS THE LATTER AND FORMER RAIN UNTO THE EARTH.

After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. One day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. No umbrella will keep this rain off ya.

JOEL 2 [2] Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for THE DAY OF THE LORD COMETH, for it is nigh at hand;
JOEL 2 [22] Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.[23] Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, THE FORMER RAIN, AND THE LATTER RAIN IN THE FIRST MONTH.

Yup! Just as it says in Hosea. Its gonna be rainin come the Day of the Lord.

LEVITICUS 26 [2] YE SHALL KEEP MY SABBATHS, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord. [3] If ye walk in my statutes, AND KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS, AND DO THEM; [4] THEN I WILL GIVE YOU RAIN IN DUE SEASON, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

If you keep My sabbaths and if you keep My commandments you will recieve rain in due season. The early and latter rain spoken of in James.

ISAIAH 58 [11] And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and THOU SHALT BE LIKE A WATERED GARDEN, AND LIKE A SPRING OF WATER, WHOSE WATERS FAIL NOT. [12] And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in. [13] IF THOU TURN AWAY THY FOOT FROM THE SABBATH, FROM DOING THY PLEASURE ON MY HOLY DAY; AND CALL THE SABBATH A DELIGHT, THE HOLY OF THE LORD, HONOURABLE; AND SHALT HONOUR HIM, NOT DOING THINE OWN WAYS, NOR FINDING THINE OWN PLEASURE, NOR SPEAKING THINE OWN WORDS: [14] Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

so you will continue to believe and stay IN your denomination even if it is not agreeing what the Early Christians and the Holy Ghost seemed well to them?
nice. thanks for the warning
Sir,, you are being led astray.. The early church kept the 7th day. if you would do a study on the book of acts,,this fact would be clear to you!

I wish you would do this,, but, you probably wont:

Read Acts. Evertime you see the word "Sabbath",, write down that phrase..Do the samething with the phrase "first day of the week."

If you study these phrases in the book of acts,, I assure you, that you will see that the early church kep the 7th Day Sabbath,, always!

Never did they adopt sunday as the Sabbath. You have been lied to.

LOL Did you read any of the verses I quoted even?
Sigh.
You condemned a blessed Christian all across the world which has been freed by Christ (including freed in worshipping) and being persecuted for His name's sake. and you, sir, accusing me (and many other like me) of being led astray because I simply chose other days than you do.
I applaud you once again for your righteousness.

And continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

i saw the word daily there, hmm.

well Of Course, because everyday you are to Praise God. He is your Lord.

Sir,, you just admitted that you keep the Commandments of sombody other than God.

God gave us the 7th Day Sabbath in the 4th Commandment.

You openly admitted that you do not keep Gods Commands,, by your own admission you choose another day than what God commanded you.

So,, you are in willful disobedience, and you even know it,, and you still believe God will bless you with eternal life? You must think God is a flake. Perhaps you believe God to be senile.

You've been warned.

The commandment of resting on the Sabbath of God is from our six days' of labor. Sabbath means rest, but by itself it is not the Sabbath of the commandment unless it is applied to the week and what the six days are and the Seventh. If all your cuts and pastes are telling me that all my life I was resting when I was working, you are quite out of what I believe the context is of the seventh day.
Yahweh bless you for your efforts and attempts. The Sabbath is made for man was stated to allow man to do good on the Sabbath of the Lord, even if it required work of some sort. The easy yoke mentioned by our Lord is His teaching, His burden is light, not the heavy burdens given by the hypocrites. In learning from Him we have rest from those burdens. Read the Word, but keep the quotes in context, otherwise they are being changed from what they were saying, and this, in plain words, is error.
In the context of the teaching that was given to the new testament churches, both Jew and Gentile, there is no teaching, instructions or even a suggestion that Christians were obligated or commanded in any way to keep, honor or remember the Sabbath. The Jews continued to gather on the Sabbath but the church is not mentioned in doing so. There is just no record in the scriptures of this happening. Why do you think that is? If any Jew wants to keep or remember the Sabbath to keep it holy, they can do that. However, the churches are under no obligation as far as I can tell. That is my take on this matter.

Baloney,, God never said to set His commands aside and take up other commands. Complete nonsense and lies!
You are right that God never sets His commands aside, that is what I said and now you say that is nonsense and lies? I am saying it is lies when people say God says His commands were set aside. The Holy Spirit affirms His commands does not set any aside.

Those of us in God's family must stand firm. We cannot allow anyone to change our sacred scripture in any way. We cannot let anyone say Christ IS the Sabbath, for scripture does not say this.

We cannot let anyone say that scripture says that we are not to rest on the Sabbath for scripture does not say this.

We cannot say that scripture says that we are to rest seven days a week, for scripture says we are to work six days a week.

Just as scripture allows for divorce because of man's wickedness, scripture allows man to designate another day than the day God blessed as Sabbath. God did this when the gospel was sent to the pagans who were so used to Sunday worship.

Man can reason with scripture, using man logic, to make it say things other than it says. Scripture is not to be read with the logic college text books are read by. Scripture is specific. God is God, His word isn't to be tampered with that way.
You said: "Scripture allows man to designate another day than the day God blessed as Sabbath. God did this when the gospel was sent to the pagans who were so used to Sunday worship."

God never set His commands aside and said it's okay if you disobey Me...You are slandering God and His Bible.

2 Colossians
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat or drink, or in respect to a holy day or the new moon or the Sabbath days,
17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the body is of Christ.
Romans 14
5 One man esteemeth one day above another; another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

Do you know that the 7 feasts throughout the year were called sabbaths? Also on those sabbaths they had to eat certain food and drink certain drink. Colossians mentions eating certain food and having certain drink so it shows Colossians is referring to the ceremonial sabbaths not the 7th day sabbath. On the 7th day sabbath they were not commanded to eat and drink certain food and drink. Also Colossians does not say that the sabbath is done away with it says don't judge. The pharisees did not keep the sabbath of the Lord according to the Bible but added many of there own laws as Christ even said.

As for Romans 14 it does not mention the sabbath at all.

so are you saying Christians who don't observe the sabbath are going to hell?
If you want to do the Sabbath, do it then unto the Lord, not because for your glory.
Let me ask you a few questions about the Sabbath that you do:
do you stay at home on that Sabbath? do you shut all the lights and electricity at your home on that Sabbath? do you say to your family in your house to not work at all? and the foremost, do you put to death the people who fails to do so?
thanks for your time to share.

When did I say they are going to hell? The Bible says don't judge which you have just done. The Bible says we are to keep the commandments because we love God, that is the reason I keep the sabbath.

sigh. Jesus fulfilled the LAW, he sets the bar EVEN Higher than the OT Law, what don't you get from that?
By relaxing the Law? By no longer requiring obedience? Perhaps you could convince the local constabulary that the law is fulfilled if you are pulled over for a speeding ticket. See how that works out for you.

the NT commands Christian to worship God everyday, what don't you get from that? Isn't Jesus God? Isn't Holy Spirit God?

I applaud your warning.

Let's examine this last statement...

Is Jesus God? Yes, He is the God who thundered the Ten Commandments from Mt. Sinai and then said...

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

And then said this...

Mat 19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
Mat 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

And this...

Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Now which of the above statements are NOT TRUE? Care to enlighten us?

What is the New Covenant?

Heb 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
Heb 8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
Heb 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

This is a direct quote from...

Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Now, zero in on verse 33, the word for law there is...

H8451
תּרה תּורה

I am not saying you said that, that's why I just wanted to clarify because another user in this thread thinks so, Sir.
good then if you don't think so.
Good then, if you do it for the Love to God. But the Sabbath mentioned in Exodus and Deuteronomy and Numbers, requires those who keep sabbath to do what I mentioned on the last 4 paragraphs in my post that you quoted.

Read about the sabbath and you will find that is not true today. We are to keep the sabbath of the Lord as a holy convocation

What I ciriticize here, sir, is a man who claims to be Christian yet decrees another Christian to hell just because they don't worship on the same sabbath day lol
Of course Christians are to obey the Law, but until you realize you will never be able to fulfill the Law (i.e become righteous before God's sight) without the justification and help of the Holy Spirit, then it is you who don't understand the Grace of Christ.
now let's go back to sabbath, we have other thread on Grace and Law already lol
