In Italy we have something akin to the social security number.
Except it's not as private.
It's called: Codice Fiscale (a financial code)
on there are numbers which tell WHEN you were born and WHERE you were born.
Anyone can ask you the number and you have to give it.
For instance:
Phone company
Electric company
Banks
Schools
Internet purchases (YES!)
Medical visits
Tax Forms
ANYTHING!
No problem with identity theft yet.
Just wait till it starts and eventually it will.
All that's needed is this number and your address and you're good to go.
I hate having to give it out to everyone...

Because Revelation is a symbolic book, its quite an error to read this mark literally (and search for it in microchips, tattoos etc).
Mark on head = thinking as the beast wants.
Mark on right hand = doing what the beast wants.
The main problem is worshipping the beast instead of true God, not the technical issue of how will non-worshippers be isolated from business and society.

I totally agree, which I why I have always said that the false prophet "forcing" the inhabitants to receive the mark will be by making the other methods of buying and selling obsolete so that it forces people to make a decision to receive it in order to be able to continue electronically buying and selling or to reject it, which is what I mentioned in the previous post. Those who reject it will be those great tribulation saints who will know what the mark represents and will not worship the beast, his image nor receive his mark. If you read my post, I never said that it was by physical force, but by removing their choices for being able to credit and debit their bank accounts, leaving only that mark as an option.

Contrary to popular Christian opinion and tradition, Satan only can deceive you....and nothing other than that....if you allow him to deceive you, then you enslave yourself in whatever works of the flesh you are serving....
1/3 of the Angles fell with them....which means they made a choice, they were not his slaves...Satan wants to be God, so he counterfeits everything of God, including free choice...
Eve fell for the deception, she was not owned....
Or how believers will be isolated from society, by behaving in ways that are contrary to the world's ways. We are really see it coming to a head these days, with the left pretending to be tolerant so they can allow Islamic ideology into our lands while they spew hatred at anything linked to Christ. This is exactly one of the main problems as to why people misinterpret the book of Revelation. I call this symbolitis! There is no reason to approach the book of Revelation as being symbolic. It should be read in the literal sense until symbolism is obvious. If the literal sense makes perfect sense, then don't seek any other sense.
The above is the teaching of seventh day advents. There is nothing in the context that would lead the reader to apply a symbolic interpretation of the mark. In addition, we are already seeing people being implanted with RFID chips under the skin of the hand, which would support a literal interpretation of the scripture. The fact that this is already happening exactly as scripture proclaims, gets rid of the idea of the mark on the forehead as figuratively representing "thinking" and the mark on the hand as representing "action."
