Lol ironically it is proven fact through the utmost scrutiny over 2000 years that the collection of many books that is the Holy Bible has not been editted or changed or added to throughout all its time.

The Jesus of the Bible isn't some fuzzy, wuzzy genie. He hates sin but He wants all to come to know Him. He created division when it was necessary to separate truth from lies, His Word from that of mankind's. Why do agnostics and atheists all say the Bible was edited? Where do you get your 'facts'? There's no argument here to even counter.

Given the fact the Bible have the largest documentary trace in history, and is the most found document in archaeology, and is the most translated document with many translations supporting eachother in all history, and is also the most scrutinized publication in history, yes this is proven fact.

Tintin i have done my research and based on that i have my beliefs....I'm seeking God i truly am......and you have your beliefs.....and that's awesome but I'm not going to convert, i know the Bible cover to cover and being a part of the Christian faith i always felt there's gotta be more than just what this book by men wrote and I'm not trying to get you to agree at all, i just am staying my beliefs

I also have something to say so I will ask the Author of the New Testament to be MY witness as to what I share is TRUTH!

I consult NO manwritten book or information when it comes to the matter of God! Here is the thing I TRULY beleive.

If there is a God (called Jesus Christ) and if He is the Truth the Way and the Life... and He HIMSLEF says somewhere to my heart..... Cobus, you shall know the turht and the truth shall make you free.... Then I believe HE (God Himslef) will have me know the Truth and that Truth shall make me free.

And this is the Truth according to the SAME LORD JESUS I refer to as MY WITNESS AND MY LORD....

John 17:17... Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

I think I am so far REMOVED (sanctified) from lies and silly things, becasue God's Truth (His WORD) is not silly, and He is MIGHTY Powerful. He even made ME (the worst sinner I know) free from all this silly things. All I want is to see Truth being preached and people brought to Christ with SCRIPTURE written on their hearts, and they also made free from all this silly things in CC.

Very few people on this site is free, I thank God that I know Him and I know the WAY, the LIFE and the TRUTH, because I gave myself up for ENLIGHTMENT.

I suggest let go of foolish talks like degrading the TRUTH (His Word is the Truth) and rather KNOW it and form your Doctrine with the WORD, and then yuo will wlaso be free....

2Ti_3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

If ANY of you has a question about the Word of God go ASK God to reveal it to you, and He will make you FREE. There are not one contradiction in the Bible, NOT ONE! It only looks that way because some of the Truth is MEAT, and many are still on milk. That is why yuo know not the Truth yet. Al lwho knows the Truth knows the Word as Jesus knew it! Perfectly. Eph 4 witness this to be true... To the knowledge of the Son of God... WOW!

So Laceylacey before you continue to bash the Word of God and you lack of wisdom and Truth, ask God to SHOW you what He is saying in His Word.... I did, and he shut me up in no time, with two little verses he showed my whole palace build on sand.... But then he gave me Jesus as the foundation stone, and now NO STORM will EVER dent the SOLID doctrine of the Word of God, INCLUDING THE NEW TESTAMENT! Inspired by GOD to reach me EXACTLY like God wanted me to get it in the KJV. and the AFRIKAANS old translation. Identical to the KJV.

Good lick with your search for the Truth Laceylacey. Hope God gives you the Truth and makes you free from ALL EVIL... Amen.

Read John 17 and 1 John 3 they explain precisely what BORN OF GOD means and what the SEED of God is that REMAIN in all who is Born of God.....

No matter what you say or what you believe, if it is not EXACTLY like Jesus, then you miss the pot, SORRY! I do not believe you are born again, by just the spirit you show to us. Read this....

1 John 3:9... Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Now tell me you are Born of God...

Today's bible is not similar, it is identical and has not changed since it was created by the Word of God. What is different or unique about the bible is the fresh perspective that is provided by God for those who sincerely seek the truth. The words themselves never change as God changes not.

God spoke to me all the time....still doesn't make it real. Its actually thoughts inside our head.

Just in case that was one of the reasons you lost your faith.
