That was post flood. For all we know. the ark circled the earth multiple times in that time period. Boats do not just stay in one area..

That is true as well. But no one knows when the American Continents split from the African and European Continents, so he could have just been going in small patterns to achieve as such.

And yet, He did not provide a way for them to be saved like He did 4,000 years after Adam.
lol

Noah preached to them for a whole year

They laughed and mocked at him.

They were provided a way to be saved, The same way he provided adam and eve and any one else in the OT to be saved, By having faith in god.

No

Noah preached the gospel for those people the whole time he was building the ark

He did not creat them for hell. He gave them every opportunity to repent. Until He shut noah in the ark.

And that was to an immediate audience. It seems however, after the "Tower of Babel," due to new languages it would become more difficult to do as Noah did.

I only see where God would send His Prophets to warn the Hebrews they were sinning. I do not see where God sent the Prophets to preach to the Gentiles. So if people died for 4,000 years (Hebrew/Gentile), only the Hebrew people were saved Eternally, not the Gentiles before Jesus walked this Earth.

Are the people of Sodom in hell?
mmmmmmm/ Jonah?

My point was pertaining to atmosphere. If the Atmosphere was different, those volcanoes would kill people.
how so?

And thr atmosphere was different. One of the causes of much lower ife spans, and the dying off of huge creatures was the change in climate. Which had a worlwide effect

If anything, the pre flood earth was more hospitable.. And if a volcano could kill off life, it would have been more applicabe post flood than before

There are different flavors of the gap theory. I wouldn't necessarily teach this from the pulpit. My original comment here was to help someone see why it was brought up by someone else
Ahh. My bad, I misunderstood you!

Forgive me!

Would not matter since God numbered the years of man to 120 in Genesis 6:3

I have never been to Mesopotamia. But I said what I did because someone thought the Flood created a new atmosphere. My point in answering was if there were volcanoes in a new atmosphere then Noah would die, because I always believed the atmosphere before and after Noah were the same.
That is the point of 2 peter 3

They are not the same, And evidence shows how different they were

I followed the tangent you clearly drifted off onto.

Do you think the Pharaoh and army who drowned in the Red Sea are in Heaven?
I think they will stand in the judgment, sir.
So, I was wondering if the Neanderthal will too

You think Egyptians who never believed in Yahweh are in Heaven now?

The men of Ninevah will stand in the Judgement...and Judgement will fair better for Sodom than for those pharisees who had the benefit of seeing and hearing HIM and yet continued on in their disbelief

Just as the Scripture states

Matthew 7:16 is not referring to fruits of the spirit.
IMO Jesus refers to no. Of people we led to The Lord. But the 9 fruits are also a good plumb line to find Christians (and measure ourselves against)

CHRIST said...the men of Ninevah will stand and condemn this generation (we are the generation that benefitted by HIS coming, yet those who do not believe will be judged more harshly than Ninevah) because they listened to Jonah....and YET ONE GREATER THAN JONAH HAS COME...

And men continue in their disbelief

Not to mention, Biker...CHRIST said, I send you ´Prophets" so that upon you will the blood of Abel and Zechariah come

There will be those who will hear THE GOSPEL and not believe
But, we were NEVER told to have any preconceived idea of who will or will not hear THE GOSPEL..

THE MESSAGE goes to ALL MEN...

Innocent as doves...wise as serpents.
When one claims to be bringing the GOSPEL, they should be innocent as doves...if they have already decided who is worthy to hear the MESSAGE, then they are stealing and sitting in the seat of Judgement above GOD....

Yet Scripture plainly states that it had never rained before the flood, so it would seem the atmosphere did change at that time.

If you believe in the Neanderthal, then you believe in Evolution, because a Neanderthal is an evolved state from the ape.
