Wow we still questioning what Jesus said, "to those who believe"
It's all according to His will, God just looks for who believes that is willing to stand in the gap.
Not everyone is up to speed with what salvation actually means cause they say the sinners prayer and go to church. But hey just leave them to rot and figure it out themselves no?? But if God has someone that is lead to say "come out you foul thing" it's just delusional demonic forces at work?? Give me a break, the strong help the weak, strong in faith, attentive to God alone and bold enough to act not out of self glory or self righteousness.
I know a pastor who had asthma bad for thirty years, someone prayed for his healing, so many others had too over thirty years, but the pastor never stopped believing God could heal him, lo and behold come a day "suddenly" no more asthma til this day five years later.
I'm tired hearing that God is no longer a loving caring Father to us. It's our unbelief that hinders God doing things for and thru us, it's the "thats false doctrine, heresy" brigade that destroys faith and not builds up faith to always question and deny the power of the holy spirit alive today.

Just because a preacher says it doesn't nessasarily means one just swallow it especially if it stirs up doubt at what they say. Always go to God ourselves thru scripture, search out just not the one verse given but the whole context and the whole teaching in it's entirety thru the bible with pray.
Too many are like the children of Israel saying to Moses "you go we will do whatever you say He says" that's the biggest problem with the church congregation, following man not Jesus.
Sure, tell people to be on guard, to be true to the cross and why, but we must instill faith that He is able and willing at His discertion that's all

Someone asked me in response to this post, 'If what you are saying is true then why does bad things happen to good people?' The answer to that question is because we live in a fallen world where 'self' is exalted above all else.
When you truly begin to live a life of walking in the Holy Spirit, you might as well draw a bulleseye on your back. You are going to get both unwanted and unwarranted attention from the forces of evil that are at work around you (true believers will be persecuted for His namesake). However, you should not be afraid because the Creator of the Universe has got your back, and, if you are patient, He loves to turn something that someone has done or said against you in order to inflict harm into a blessing, more than anything you could imagine could have happened given the circumstances.

I believe demons are fallen angels but God did not make them. He made the angels not their fallen state. hope that clarifies. But what you believe and what is in scripture are two different things, for scripture DOES NOT SAY that fallen angels or those that came after BECAME demons. Unless I missed it and you can show me the verse(s).

Maggie your view of the world is dualistic you think evil is need for the world to exist and I reject that view. No, evil is needed in order for us to be able to CHOOSE Him or our own ignorant ways.
I do not believe that God created Satan and demons as evil beings. I believe they chose to disobey and fall. God did not create them to do so, He allowed the possibility. God created the world and He said it was GOOD, not evil. That's right. He created evil or calamity...calamity IS evil! IS 45:7 "I form the light and create darkness, I make peace [national well-being] and I create [physical] [a]evil (calamity); I am the Lord, Who does all these things."He did NOT create demons as demons. Prove it. it is NOT their job to tempt and destroy people's souls. Yes it is!! It is their choice and they SIN and do it in REBELLION to God's Will. No. God created evil and demons SO that we could be influenced and need to make a choice. Without evil in the world, there is no choice to be had. It is THAT simple.
Spirits have no flesh, Angels have their own celestial flesh. On the contrary. When angels came to earth it was in the form of MAN with FLESH. They ate and drank. Some lusted and went into women. A creature cannot do those things without FLESH. Flesh is flesh. There is no such thing as "celestial flesh". It is not Biblical. Do a word search online and find the origin of that terminology. The battle is not in what this world considers the "mind" but in the spirit realm. Which affects the MIND of a person. It is HOW and WHAT we THINK and BELIEVE that allows demons to have at us. And it is Their influence that causes us to think what we do!! Angels control the weather, hold back rivers and move mountains and more upon the orders of God. And? It can be seen in the spirit realm but to toss off your earthly body to walk there is forbidden by the Bible except when God walks with you are sends for you. You are off on rabbit trails here...

A fallen angel that chose to rebel JUST AS GOD CREATED HIM TO DO. Do you not KNOW that God is omnipotent knowing ALL things?? If so, why is he not in chains also? He is king of the kingdom of darkness. It was God's plan that he oversee that kingdom. He is the one that RULES the demonic...'the rulers, the powers, the world forces of darkness, the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.' We know he has access to God's throne room, (Job. 1:6-12; 2:1-7). It would appear that if Satan, a fallen angel is in chains, then he certainly still has access to God's throne, and also the physical realms as he appeared to Jesus to tempt him. Read it again. It does NOT say that Satan entered the THRONE ROOM of God. It merely says that he presented himself. Satan cannot enter the throne room of God..the 3rd Heaven. But God can go where He pleases. The angels were holding court with God and Satan came along to accuse. Satan cannot enter the Holy Domain of God because there can be no evil in heaven.

That is what SCRIPTURE says, yes. and then created for him all of those demons to replace his angels, who are enslaved. Satan is the ONLY angel that ever has or ever will inhabit man (Judas and the Anti-Christ). Nowhere in scripture do we read that any other angel, righteous or fallen enters a human being. But we DO read that unclean spirits/demons DO. Do you know how ridiculous that sounds? (No offense taken) If you can wrap your mind around the concept of the Trinity, why is it so hard for you to understand this?? It is not ridiculous...but God uses His wisdom to confuse the wise man. Is it so terribly difficult to fathom that God created angels that remained good, angels that sinned and fell, powers, principalities, demons? Would YOU limit Him on this? Here is the hierarchy from the top of the kingdom of darkness down: Satan, rulers (world forces), powers, principalities (territorial demonic spirits), demons. There is hierarchy in EVERY kingdom, good or bad. It is necessary to understand that in order to have a clear picture of how and why God created evil.

Romans 8:17 "and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him." "fellow heirs" means THE SAME AS; RECEIVING THE SAME AS Christ. It IS from the Bible.
Loveschild, we do not need to go around telling people and scaring them that they have demons inside them. Right. It is better to just let them stay there and continue to cause people to remain in the bondages of sickness and lack. Just cast out the demons through prayer Not Biblical. Prayer is for worship, praise and petition. WE ARE TOLD to command then and cast them off. . and by asking God to do it.We are NOT told to ask God to do what He gave us authority over to do. Asking God to do what He TOLD US TO DO is not being the overcomer or conqueror that He created us to be. then teach them how to speak to the Holy Spirit themselves. For if they do not know how to listen and pray to the Holy Spirit then they will be under attack again and some would agrue are not really Christians to begin with. IF they don't know and USE their authority over the demonic, they will suffer at the WILL of the demonic. Hos 4:6 therefore if they have the indwelling Holy SPirit they should be able to listen and speak with God and will not need outside interference, just guidance to understand the mysteries of being oracles of God. Well that's line of confusional bunk. IF they have the EMPOWERMENT of the Holy Spirit (includes speaking in tongues, BTW) they only need to understand that they have authority to cast off demons and break curses in their lives. tell people they have demons and not doing anything to help is cruel and mean and not what Jesus did or taught His followers to do. Stop cursing them by telling them they have demons and making them doubt they have God and the Holy Spirit inside of them. They live the lives they live and have the issues they have because they do NOT believe that they can have a demon! Ignorance is PAINFUL. Jesus and Holy Spirit reside in the spiritual heart and soul of a person, not in the physical, flesh body where the demons can manifest. Every person has parts, but not every person's parts are sanctified.

They seek after money. power and fame and the Bible warns against these types of people:
