looks pretty fulfilled to me.

the kingdom is within us right now.
This generation shall not pass, till ALL these things be fulfilled.

And the generation Jesus was talking about was the generation in the end at the end of the world.

3--Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

The reason you preach such nonsense, is because you lean to your own understanding

The reason you preach such nonsense, is because you try to figure it out in the arm of the flesh in your own strength.

The promise of God is if you draw nigh to God he will draw nigh to you, but you’re not and that’s the reason you preach such nonsense because you are still walking in the flesh instead of the spirit in your own strength.

You take away from this book of this prophecy and not just a bit of it, but all of it.

Rv22;19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets,
and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that,
if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation
shall not pass, till all these things be
fulfilled

Although there other definition as well a generation may mean a class of persons, that is, those characterized by certain qualities or conditions.
For instance the Bible speaks of “the generation of the righteous one” (Ps 14:5; 24:6; 112:2) and “a generation crooked and twisted,” “a generation of perverseness.” (De 32:5, 20; Pr 30:11-14)

Jesus Christ, when on earth, spoke similarly of the people of the Jewish nation of that day, and the apostle Paul applied such terms to the world of his day in general, which was alienated from God.—Mt 12:39; 16:4; 17:17; Mr 8:38; Php 2:14, 15.

This indicates that a generation is a limited but nonetheless not a specific length of time, depending on the context.

Jesus explanation here was in answer to the disciples question in (Matthew 24:3) when would the conclusion of the system of things take place?

Many feel that the answer and the signs prophesied here by Jesus point not only to the end of the Jewish system but also to the end of our system.

All the best

you can read the bible twice everyday and still
not see the kingdom UNTIL we are born again
spiritually.
The intent of John 3 and i cor 2 was not to tell people if they dont understand,
then they are not bornagain.

1 cor 2 is not saying if your bornagain then! you will understand.
Any Christian can look at things with his natural understanding.
So this is not proof text for slapping anyone.

Matthew 24:32 begins a new thought and verse 34 says "all these things" we should go to the start of the chapter
Matthew 24:1-3

(1) And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
(2) And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
(3) And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Jesus told His disciples that the temple would be destroyed and not one stone shall be left upon the other. The signs that Jesus gave were for both the destruction of the temple and city in 70 AD and the end of the world. There were false Christ's and prophets before the destruction of the temple, the gospel was preached to the known world the signs Jesus spoke of did happen before 70 AD and the same signs are happening today at the end of the world with increasing numbers and intensity just as Christ said.

That’s not you being a fair-weather Christian now is it?

You want the weather fair to be with Jesus. So you delete the book of Revelation and Matthew 24 so there is no tribulation.

You don’t want to be tried or tested, purged or purified made white.

You don’t want to suffer like are forefathers in Bible history, like Jesus and the disciples did..

You don’t want to pay a price; you want the weather to be fair, a weather Christian.

You don’t want to go through the desert like the children of Israel did to get to the Promised Land.

You don’t want to be like Daniel that stood before the image and refused to bow to the king’s image or be put to death.

You don’t want to have to live by faith and walk by faith because you can’t buy or sell in the last days, so you delete Matt24 and the book of Revelation so there is no tribulation.

It does not matter how fast or how far you run, you can’t hide from the living word of God.

If you haven’t got the courage to preach the whole word of God, then this is my advice to you.

1 Corinthians 14:34Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak

you just flat out ignored what i replied with instead you
accused me of preaching nonsense and not wanting
to go through tribulation.

all this you have accused me of is false.

Jesus Christ said "THIS GENERATION" 2000 YEARS ago
ALL these will be fulfilled.

why can't you see that the kingdom of God has come
and is in us right now.

the last enemy to be destroyed is DEATH.

to be absent from the body is to be present with the
Lord.

And what about those that refused Salvation?

And be under condemnation of judgement?

hi loveme1,

salvation is available to anyone who believes while
still in the flesh body.

salvation is a call from God\Jesus Christ and He saves.

God calls first and as a result the sinner responds by
calling upon the name of the Lord (repentance)

Hi cronjecj,

If all that is left to be destroyed is death, what happens to those that do not Repent of sin?

Hi cronjecj,

If all that is left to be destroyed is death, what happens to those that do not Repent of sin?
those who do not repent even unto death, dies in their sins.
Because they have not believed.

they are children of the flesh (Satan)

the chosen are the children of the Spirit (God)

the children of the Spirit we were chosen by God
before the world began whether 2000 or 10 000 000
years ago because we are born of Him and not of the
flesh.

Yes he did and more than once.

and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

But you reject Jesus the word because of your stubbornness and fear/ sin if witchcraft.

1 Samuel 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

I think you are getting mixed up with insults and rebuke.

1 Timothy 5:20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

Proverbs 27:5 Open rebuke is better than secret love.

Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent

Titus 1:13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

Proverbs 9:8 Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.

2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Nonsense doctrine.
Do you have any proof from man’s history even to backup such nonsense? NO.

You are just making it up.

2 Thessalonians 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Your doctrine is just a delusional bubble that has nothing to do with Jesus or the word of God.
And Nothing to do with the spirit of God or the children of God. You are just making it up.

Job38:2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
3Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

What good are you going to be in the last days to strengthen the brethren, with your nonsense doctrine, when the world becomes dark and wicked, what are you going to say “it’s just overcast”?

There is no light in your doctrine no hope no understanding,

It’s amazing what nonsense passes as the gospel in the church today.

thanks for the reply. When the temple was destroyed in 70AD it brought an end to sacrifice. Do you think this was the will of God or not?

this is merely handling the word of God deceitfully. Its a bible discussion forum. remember?
