We should speak in Love.

We should also realize that understanding Jesus is God is something that the Spirit must show that person, but, that person must diligently seek to know that God is not kind to those who think there are other gods before Him, or , even another God, who is not God alone being given the glory. The Lord leads. We are to follow Him, NOT them. It is a Him, One.

We who are His, none of us mean ill intent we simply mean to state the Truth and Scripture is clear: There is only One true God and we are to worship Him. Jesus and God are one, Scripture tells us, and, trying to manipulate that word 'one' should not be done. The Holy Spirit, too, is one with the three, who are One, this is all in Scripture, I pray for revealing from He in you for this complete understanding and I pray, hope that all the words here tonight were said as philly said, for us to save souls, that is our concern here, plain and simple, that there is NO confusion who we are to worship, we are to worship Him, in Spirit and in Truth :)

Psalm 2 is about WWs I & II?

serious?

Acts 4
Peter and John Before the Council

1And as they were speaking to the people, the priests and the captain of the temple and the Sadducees came upon them, 2greatly annoyed because they were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection from the dead. 3And they arrested them and put them in custody until the next day, for it was already evening. 4But many of those who had heard the word believed, and the number of the men came to about five thousand.

5On the next day their rulers and elders and scribes gathered together in Jerusalem, 6with Annas the high priest and Caiaphas and John and Alexander, and all who were of the high-priestly family. 7And when they had set them in the midst, they inquired, “By what power or by what name did you do this?” 8Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders, 9if we are being examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed, 10let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by him this man is standing before you well. 11This Jesusa is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone.b 12And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

13Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus. 14But seeing the man who was healed standing beside them, they had nothing to say in opposition. 15But when they had commanded them to leave the council, they conferred with one another, 16saying, “What shall we do with these men? For that a notable sign has been performed through them is evident to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. 17But in order that it may spread no further among the people, let us warn them to speak no more to anyone in this name.” 18So they called them and charged them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. 19But Peter and John answered them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge, 20for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.” 21And when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them, because of the people, for all were praising God for what had happened. 22For the man on whom this sign of healing was performed was more than forty years old.

The Believers Pray for Boldness
23When they were released, they went to their friends and reported what the chief priests and the elders had said to them. 24And when they heard it, they lifted their voices together to God and said, “Sovereign Lord, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them, 25who through the mouth of our father David, your servant,c said by the Holy Spirit,

“‘Why did the Gentiles rage,
and the peoples plot in vain?
26 The kings of the earth set themselves,
and the rulers were gathered together,
against the Lord and against his Anointed’d—

27for truly in this city there were gathered together against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, 28to do whatever your hand and your plan had predestined to take place. 29And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servantse to continue to speak your word with all boldness, 30while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” 31And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.

fulfilled.

Who is Jesus to you, Joshbro, if Jesus has a beginning?

And, how do you worship God and Jesus both? That is my biggest 'get' that I don't get with that belief of Jesus is not God.

How does one worship that way? You have to worship TWO Gods ? Did God intend us to believe in Him in that way, worship Him in this way ?

i'm not speaking about the discussion and i already told everyone what it is, just saying it's inappropriate to ban someone just because they go against your doctrine just not right.. and i don't respect that we suppose to lead people to christ if the argument wasn't going anywhere just say God bless and lets agree to disagree shouldn't just ban someone just like that, and about the topic i never said Jesus isn't God, God manifested himself in Jesus that made him God, and they were a dual being at the same time like how born again believers are with the holy spirit, hope that anwsers your question, it's one Single God in different administrations

Brother Josh, it isn't about banning people who disagree with you. It's banning people who try teaching mysterious doctrine. One man once tried telling everyone that Jesus died for only His people and not the world. That's legalistic doctrine....they deserve to be banned for trying to convince people that...

Hi Josh,

I would agree with you Josh, the Pharisees did not like the truth.. they struggled with the idea that this was a man yet claiming to be God.

Well maybe not that person untill he gets to far, I'm not necessarily sure how far you must push to be banned...

Then, you should be supportive of what happened.

I'm praying for brothersilas to be open to knowing Him as One, Father, Son,. Holy Spirit, are one, and, to continue to force-feed all of his belief of Jesus not God is a mistake. it's against Christianity and is against Jesus, God, and, the Holy Spirit.

I pray that now sile finds God ,that he realizes that Jesus is God is Holy Spirit, all within us, I asked silebro to address the Scripture he posted, about Christ in tthe Father and the Father in Christ and we in Christ and the Christ in us, and, the Father in us, and, he would not even answer the question. :(

The Lord leads, but, joshers, I would apologize, bro, for your other post, as our authority on c.c. are those who are doing things for the sake of the kingdom, there moves are genuinely to engender and bring about blessings and hope and understanding and Love to all who are on c.c.

God is our ultimate authority but, we are to obey others who are in authority over us, and, stilledwaters and otherrs ARE our authorities and we are to respect, honor, support their authority and bring it to prayer if your with a problem as He in you will comfort and give you peace. Our God is an awesome God, He will lead you, if you worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. :)

Josh, the few rules this site has are fair. This is not a platform where you can teach blatant error. Why should we tolerate error when no church that I would attend, ever tolerate it? Would your pastor hand the mic to a Mormon or Muslim and let him say whatever he wants? I highly doubt it.

If you have not read the rules here they are ---> http://christianchat.com/rules.php
Which of those rules are inappropriate? I think they all are fair.

But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”[SUP]16 [/SUP]Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
[SUP]17 [/SUP]Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven

I agree totally with that, and Christ told Peter flesh and blood had not revealed it to Peter but his Father in Heaven

If that was enough for Christ, why is it not enough for you?
Have you the right to demand more than did Christ?
Please answer instead of hurling more accusations

Until you actually respond to the above, please do not expect me to respond to you
Even though Silas is banned I would be happy to answer this one.

Jesus is the son of God. SO what does that mean to those who wrote it? The Romans knew a son of a god is another god or at least like a god. Jesus nick named two disciples "Son's of Thunder" Was Jesus saying their dad was a lightning bolt? No, it meant they were loud. So "son of (blank)" meant they were like "blank" in their nature.

So to call Jesus the son of God is to actually mean he is God and this is also backed up by many other scriptures. There is no getting around the fact that Jesus is God.

I think he was afraid to admit that Son of God means One with the nature of and proceeded from, the Lord God. I don't understand why that would be hard to answer? Anyways oh well thanks for the answer bro!

I agree with Bryan,

Silas/Mark should have been ignored from the start.

But is it loving to agree with a false belief in god..? I often hear things like, oh we need to just get along..lets be united.. ask yourself what are you uniting yourself with?

No one here has boasted of a higher plane of spirituality, maybe except yourself as your condemning us, however I take your post as you have meant it.

Its posts like you like your godslyric that encourage these guys.

God Bless
I watched you and silas go back and forth for days, and viewed it as a debate between two men, and if it gets a little heated, then so be it. You both entered into the debate, and I take my hat off the you both for being so very tenacious and passionate in your exchanges, But when I saw several people attacking one man, any man at the same time, I felt the need to speak out... I apoligies for my manner, but I really felt it was getting ugly. If you people call it tough love, who am I to say different, but from where I was sitting at that time and space, it just looked like a town lynching...Thats just me. Im new here, and maybe out of line, but I believe from the bottom of my heart, and the glasses The Lord gave me to see through that discernment breeds a good teacher, and discourse in the byproduct of inner discourse, that dosent lead to anything but more of the same. And unfortunately I displayed that here tonight. I have a real problem witnessing a pile up...Im still a work in progress...Peace Brother.

You are saying every single person who spoke to mark torn into him as a bloody piece of meat and for our entertainment and ingestion? It is not also wrong to include all when all can see that not all did this?

And, on his part, did he act a saint?
Your absolutely right, I should have articulated myself better, and not been so general...My apologies...

I have read your post on God (a few posts ago) it doesn't even make any sense little alone biblical.
:| Several others understood it. Does that mean they are that much brighter than you are? Or do you contend you are the only sane one and the rest of us are crazy?

Either way, it's not looking good for you.

Why don't you, since you are so much more mentally endowed than me, show me the parts that don't make sense. I can use smaller words, use metaphors, paint pictures with words, I have many things at my disposal to make it more clear to just about anyone.

But, until you actually engage the post, and make comments, it looks like you are just saying things to discredit it rather than address it. That's not kosher.
