If you were Nicodemus you wouldn’t understand at that moment either. Thankfully today we have the Holy Spirit who teaches us proper understanding. Well, some of us. 😉
Perhaps so, but then Nicodemus did help prepare the body of Christ in the end for the royal burial, so I wonder sometimes if he did gain the faith that he would be resurrected by the promise of God one day and be saved in the resurrection when we shall be born again.

When Samuel appeared to Saul he said "this time tomorrow you will be with me here .... "

Saul was punished ... not damned.
Yes, I would think being with Samuel is a good thing.

God certainly strikes people and whole nations down all the time, even still. In fact he's pouring out his Four Sore Judgements on America most certainly, and it seems on the other lands too.
What is the old testament complement to Acts 5?

Not if you are here on thsi earth.e
Please explain...if you are ..... saved........ here on earth...please explain to me what God is judging you for after death?
Remember..."it is appointed unto man once to die ........and then the judgment".

While here on earth we are .......born again....if we have repented, been baptized and are living a righteous life per God's commandments..
I am saved today on this earth. :) That is an absolute in scripture and Jesus said that. Those who call on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. Roman chapter 10:9-10 tells us that if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the Dead we hall be saved for with the mouth confessions made unto Salvation and with the heart one believes unto righteousness.

If one is not saved today, then why are we to preach the Gospel? The Holy Spirit said through Paul that the Gospel of Jesus Christ IS the POWER of God unto Salvation. If there is no salvation by grace through faith, for those who God calls daily then the scriptures are not Truth and Jesus lied. Jesus said those who are not saved in the Gospel of John are condemned already because of Unbelief.

Christians are not at the Great White Throne Judgement. Our work for the Kingdom is going to be judged. and tried by fire the scriptures say as hay, word rock precious stones silver gold. that which remains will be presented to the Lord if it is burned up you get in but have nothing to lay at the feet of the Lord.

I believe we are born again the moment we proclaim faith in Jesus Christ. You believe we are born again sometime after the resurrection. Regardless, what’s truly important is that we are born again, and together we may rejoice in one another’s salvation.

Not so. Frankly what I do is say my piece in one post, usually the first one I make on a topic. Though sometimes some other points will catch my eye. Believe it or not I actually read much more than I write, and I read more than the topics I post on. After that then it is simply pretty much just replying to whoever pings me unless they go too far into personal attacks and it just looks totally fruitless to continue putting up with them, though I will excuse some of it to a point at first. I try to keep up with the replies based on the principle of if they want to go a mile, I want to try to go two miles with them to show I am genuine.
Reading is one thing, comprehension is another. I have to do my research as well given whatever the subject is, and after 20 years of reading scripture over and over, no where does that indicate what you are proposing. God is not buy now and pay later. Go back to the early writers of the church and from Clement to Augustine and you will see that was never part of any doctrine.

That's when you have faith, and faith is good, don't get me wrong. You're hoping for the salvation that is by the promise of God, the resurrection, which is when you will be born again. You will get a literal new body, you will rise out of the dust from whence you were taken.

Ah they wore themselves down with doctrines and traditions of men and this is why they do not understand the Bible. Indeed the Bible says this would happen.

At the time of Clement, there really wasn’t any traditions considering is was during the apostolic age(or immediately there after). Are you the only one that has this knowledge?

Oh they had many traditions and doctrines even before this. Even the "apostolic age" is a doctrine and tradition that is not really in the Bible. Got to beware that leaven.

That is a very harsh and unjustified judgment. Ananias and Sapphira were a good Christian couple who were probably snared by the devil, and as a result lied to God. This can happen to any Christian, but at that stage in the history of the Church, God felt it necessary to deal with this as "the sin unto death". Which meant premature death for genuine believers. Peter did not accuse them as you have done, so you owe them an apology.
good christian people dont lie

Another great reason why the rapture must be pre-trib. Otherwise, many would deny their faith in Christ and accept the mark of the beast.
There's only one unforgivable sin...
The real question is, once saved and baptized in the Spirit, is it even possible to reject God.

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory,
forever and ever.

Amen.
Have you not read Luke 21?
Witnessing to All Nations
(Matthew 24:9-14; Mark 13:10-13)

10Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: 11And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
12But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. 13And it shall turn to you for a testimony. 14Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: 15For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. 16And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. 17And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. 18But there shall not an hair of your head perish. 19In your patience possess ye your souls.
The Destruction of Jerusalem
(Matthew 24:15-25; Mark 13:14-23)

20And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 24And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
The Return of the Son of Man
(Matthew 24:26-31; Mark 13:24-27)

25And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

What Synagogues are these that they will deliver you up to?
Revelation 2
Message to the Church in Smyrna
8And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
9I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. 10Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. 11He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Another great reason why the rapture must be pre-trib. Otherwise, many would deny their faith in Christ and accept the mark of the beast.
Revelation 3
Message to the Church in Philadelphia
7And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. 9Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. 12Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. 13He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

All 3 passages right from the Word of God all say the something. You will be tempted you will be delivered up to Death "Satan"
Hebrews2:14Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
No where does it say that there is a pre trib rapture.
Why would God want a bunch of wimps in Heven for eternity that could not handle the temptation of Satan.
Do you not trust God enough that when He says not a hair on your head will parish that He us unable to follow through on that promise? That is what it sounds like you are saying.

Of course God doesn't lie. You have to run the race though. Plenty of examples of people that believed in God, even received the Holy Spirit, and then turned against God. King Saul great and tragic example.
No one recorded in Scripture received the Holy Spirit (sealed by Him), and the Holy Spirit left them.

After conversion, we can grieve the Holy Spirit, but He will not leave us. In fact, the Bible says we are SEALED with the Holy Spirit.
The same word is used in Revelation by John, as he wept convulsively, because NO ONE could break the seals of the scroll. ONLY Jesus can break the seal.

A whole host of bad things can happen to the persistently disobedient child of God, that grieves the Holy Spirit. But one of them, is NOT the removal of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit CAME UPON Old Testament people, but not until Jesus' death and resurrection were people able to become born again and sealed with the Holy Spirit, as a GUARANTEE of eternity with Christ.

Samson is a good example of the H.S. coming upon, leaving, and then coming back at the end of his life, when his prayer was answered to give him super strength one last time.

Of course you have no evidence to back that up. That is purely subjective. Can you name prominent figure that believes salvation occurs when the resurrection does?

Everyone from Moses to John that had faith in God's promises.

1 Corinthians 15:13-14

13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:

14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

And this isn’t an attempt to demean you or anything like that. This goes to the heart of what Christianity is and why it differs from all other faiths. This not something that should be taught on haphazardly

Do you really I understand what you’re reading? Yeah, if Christ wasn’t risen, our faith futile and essentially fake. Those passages are pretty straightforward.
