Isaiah 1

10 [/SUP]Hear the word of the Lord, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.

[SUP]11 [/SUP]To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the Lord: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

[SUP]12 [/SUP]When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

[SUP]16 [/SUP]Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;

[SUP]17 [/SUP]Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

[SUP]18 [/SUP]Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

[SUP]19 [/SUP]If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
[SUP]20 [/SUP]But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals,fn nor sodomites, 1Cr 6:10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
The Footnote on homosexuals reads: catamites

Again if you judge a man by this standard, then what in that verse will you not enter the kingdom for?

No one is justified by the law. To be guilty in one point is to be guilty of ALL!

So that means you might as well be gay to God, because you lied, or stole, or any of what is considered abominable through law.

OP; Seriously...have you read the Word of God?? This is a question that should Never even ever have to be asked. In fact...to ask it at all smells of rebellion.

Sorry. I disagree with this bolded part. There is no such thing as a question that should never be asked about the bible. Different people have differing levels of knowledge on the bible and to criticize someone for their lack of knowledge and seeking to learn that knowledge isn't really a right attitude. People want to learn.

Do you believe that all the kings of the earth had pre marital sex with the whore in revelations?

If not then what does that mean to you?

When blacks were slaves in america they used songs and a dialect to speak to other slaves.

The slave owners only took them as hymns but they were coded to those who understood.

The bible is such a book.

I respectfully disagree with you...

Tit 3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

I guess all sinners should be cast into the fiery pit.

Matthew 5:28
But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Matthew 19:24
Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

Matthew 18:32 “Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. 33 Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’ 34 In anger his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.

Matthew 5:7
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

Way back when, I had a dog. My landlady used to quote this scripture to me and tell me I shouldn't have a dog...

Deu 23:18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

What is a dog? (here is a hint, it is NOT a four legged animal that barks)

If a homosexual would find his/her identity in Christ and not in their sexual preference, which is true repentance, they would gladly put their homosexual lives away. The issue with homosexuality is that there seems to be an underlying belief in the neo-pagan culture that you must absolutely have sex by any means of obtaining it. The young men and women in the culture are lonely and deprived of love and instead of going to Christ who will never leave them they replace that desire by appeasing the flesh. This is truly sad part of the whole homosexual movement, they never find true love, just lust. Its a relationship of death not life. The due penalty for their error is that they self destruct and suffer shame, sometimes to the point they run from God.

I truly believe that God would never condemn any love or companionship and that it is the intention of ones heart God will look upon. We should not judge, if the love is a good love, we should accept it and accept that we are not these people or their rulers and that we have no say in anybody's choices, you can guide someone but where are you guiding them? In your direction or in their own? If you feel with your heart you will know the power of love. If someone said you cannot love your husband/wife or this love was frowned upon how would you feel? Could you part with the one you love. Try the shoe on the other foot and see how it would fit you. It is not about sexual preference it is about the love for a soul. I don't understand how people can be religious and believe that God is all that is good yet discourage people from loving. Accept their love as they have yours. Love is a powerful feeling, it should be free.

As for going against nature? nature is everything that is natural not conditioned and made to live a way that it is not.

Yes I am serious, how would YOU feel? You can only imagine that their love would be the same of that of a man and woman, if it wasn't then I'm pretty sure there would be no need to be gay

Um. . .listen I realize that you think homosexuality is a sin and that's your call, but the idea that homosexual couples never find true love, or that they self-destruct, is a fantasy. In real life there are plenty of homosexual couples who enjoy fulfilling relationships in every observable way. I think maybe you've allowed your theology to encroach upon your understanding of reality here.

Are you saying God's Word is lying to us when His Word says,
Rom 1:26
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Rom 1:27
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.

Your comment is unscriptural and complete rubbish.

Ever read God's Word?

Did these words come straight from God? Did he share these words directly with you? What I do know about God is that he is all that is good and what is good needs no discrimination
