This guy has had several handles and has been banned under at least 3 that I know. He lies and uses bogus information to set up new accounts. While proclaiming himself to be a great defender of God's law, he practices lying and deceit. His level of deception in justifying it is amazing.

Like the Sabbath/festival keeping cult that I belonged to, he thinks the rest of Christianity is deceived into rejecting God's law. In essence, most of them claim that other Christians aren't even saved.

Samsaviel, answer my question. If the Sabbath and Holy Days still apply, why does Paul call them "shadows" in Colossians 2:16-17 and state not to allow others to judge us concerning them? Compare the language with Hebrews 10:1-2 and see that the same exact language is used concerning animal sacrifices.

Quit listening to Armstrongite cults like Restored Church of God and getting your theology from them.

If Jesus changed or abolished any part of God's law, there's about 49 contradictions in the NT alone. And if you add all the scriptures in the OT which plainly say that God's law never changes, and that it will practiced in the future, during the milleniel reign, there's over 200 contradictions that can be mentioned.

Sometimes, the hardest thing for an ordinary human being to do is admit when their wrong. Throwing out false knowledge that you're comfortable with and replacing it with true knowledge from the Bible requires you to be humble, which is contrary to human nature. But God's people love truth and hate decepetion, and they allow the scriptures to change their beliefs instead of letting their beliefs change scripture.

You will never hear this particular scripture mentioned in your church. The reason is because the devil doesn't want you to hear it. It has a tendency to wake people up to the fact that the majority is wrong.

Revelation 12:9- This great dragon--the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world--was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.

Mathew 7:13-
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.

Start working on my "unanswerable questions" to Sabbath/festival keepers:

http://christianchat.com/bible-disc...questions-sabbath-festival-torah-keepers.html

I answered all of your "unanswerable questions"...what about mine? I haven't seen anyone answer any of them yet.

By the way I have no issue with Sabbath/festival keepers who don't claim that following these ceremonial or ritualistic laws are conditions, requirements, or necessary fruits of salvation. I am only focused on those who judge non-Sabbath/festival keepers.

Don't be surprised that "lawkeepers" judge you as a Christian who walks by the Spirit and not by the law. Paul clearly stated that is their tendency in Galatians, particularly Galatians 4:21-31.

Acts 15:5 says that Jewish elements within the church were trying to force Gentiles to observe the law of Moses, just as you are attempting to do:

Acts 15:5 [SUP]5 [/SUP]But some believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees rose up and said, “It is necessary to circumcise them and to order them to keep the law of Moses.”

Acts 15:10 unmistakeably calls it a yoke of bondage:

[SUP]Acts 15:10 [/SUP]Now, therefore, why are you putting God to the test by placing a yoke on the neck of the disciples that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?

The decision was made that these things did not apply to Gentile Christians:

Acts 15:28-29 [SUP]28 [/SUP]For it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay on you no greater burden than these requirements: [SUP]29 [/SUP]that you abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell.”

Jews in the NT church continued to observe those elements, even circumcision, as we find them doing so in Acts 21. However, they were doing so not as a requirement or condition or necessary fruit of salvation, but because it was part of their history and heritage and had witness value. Messianic Jews today do the same thing. It connects them with their family and their culture. In addition, their observances avoid unnecessary offense. I have used the analogy of witnessing to Muslims with a Bible in one hand and a beer or a ham sandwich in the other hand. While there is nothing objectively wrong with either, it wouldn't be considerate in a Muslim society.

Galatians 5:1 states;

Galatians 5:1 5 For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

As mentioned, Acts 15 clearly identifies this yoke of slavery with the Old Covenant and ceremonial and ritualistic aspects of it. The entire book of Galatians is very clear in discussing the nature of their issues, in that Judaizers were attempting to impose Old Covenant elements on Gentile believers.

I would challenge anyone to read it in depth, without their chosen "interpreter", whether that is Ellen G. White or Herbert Armstrong or whoever, prayerfully, asking God to open their minds to any deception they may have.

By the way, I make it my regular practice to ask God to remove any deception I have remaining in my understanding of Scripture as well...regardless of what it's on. I believe that orthodox Christianity is wrong on a few topics, like eternal torment, and I have discussed those topics with my other Christian friends, sometimes in very strong discussions. However, the cults are wrong on MANY topics..not just a few. One of their biggest issues is that they tend to judge others as unsaved that are outside of their group.

Assuming your uncertain private interpretation of unfulfilled prophetic riddles is correct.

However, the track record of God's people in interpreting unfulfilled prophetic riddles is nothing short of dismal.

Not to mention, there are others in the body of Christ who interpret them entirely differently.

Sometimes, the hardest thing for an ordinary human being to do is admit when their wrong.
Or to acknowledge that their private interpretation is uncertain.
And when it disagrees with NT teaching, to acknowledge that it is then wrong.

Throwing out false knowledge that you're comfortable with and replacing it with true knowledge from the Bible requires you to be humble, which is contrary to human nature. But God's people love truth and hate decepetion, and

.
Uncertain private interpretation of unfulfilled prophetic riddles does not have the authority to do that,
that is simply one's personal choice.

John wrote revelation, and his use of "world" means those outside Jesus Christ, not every living human being.

Paul reveals some mysteries given to him by Jesus that had not been revealed by Jesus during His earthly ministry.
People abuse Paul by ignoring those mysteries.
Paul is a lier, and a deciever Instituted by the chatholic church and any christian that worships on sunday is a daughter of the catholic church

He's extreme, but do you realize that some Sabbathkeepers go so far as to deny the writings of Paul to hold on to their beliefs regarding the Sabbath? Some SDAs do that, although it is in the minority. The words of Paul are very plain in this regard and this guy's response is simply evidence of that.

OK..prove this young man..the Sabbath is mentioned 11 times after the Gospels..how could it refer to the Sabbath 84 times in the book of Acts?

8 of those times are related to Paul speaking to Jews in the Synagogue and once at a riverside meeting of Jewish women.

It sounds like you're still listening to 119ministries and their propaganda. I wonder if they even read the Bible.

Hey guys. I heard there's a new Bible transalation available that replaces the word "sabbath" with "sunday". That should make the book of Acts much more accurate, since the apostles rested on "sunday" 84 times in it. *wink wink*

Well, we know that is definitely not from the Holy Spirit. . .

Most definitely. There are actually 2 different areas in the new testament where the apostles issue warnings about Paul's letters being misused. And Peter also says that his letters are difficult to understand. It even mentiones disciples being drawn away by conviluted teachings. It's very important that all who are seeking God realize this, and be on their guard against the enemy's lies.

Acts 20:29-30 KJV
For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

2 Peter 3:14-18
So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. 15 Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. 16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guardso that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.
