So according to you, Father-Son relationship was existent just for 33 years of Jesus´ physical service in this world?
No, I believe they are both one until the Word enters the world, just like the KJV says.

[h=1]Micah 5:2 King James Version (KJV)[/h]2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

The ruler of Israel, Jesus Christ, the Word has been going forth from old times. I believe he was Melchizadec, the"captain of the host" and many others.

I believe there is a reason for it. God does not want us to make idols. Not even from Scriptures.
No the reason is that God is interested in the actual words and not the grass and flesh that the the original manuscripts were written on. (1 Peter 1:24-25)

I have edited my post after you responded and I have added Athanasian Creed.

Are you aware that your faith is not corresponding with ancient Christian creeds?

So to believe God preserved his word and to believe every word in it is true is idol worship?
Can be. Whenever you serve to creation instead of Creator, its idolatry. And most of the KJVO movement seems to be a service to one specific book instead of God.

We do not have original Scriptures.

We do not have the tomb of Christ.

We do not have the tomb/body of Moses.

We do not have cross Christ died on.

We do not have temple or Jerusalem Christ was in (it was all destroyed by Romans).

Etc, etc.

Coincidence? I do not think so...

"The Father is made of none; neither created, nor begotten.
The Son is of the Father alone; not made, nor created; but begotten.
The Holy Ghost is of the Father and of the Son; neither made, nor created, nor begotten; but proceeding. "

What does that even mean, "not made, nor created; but begetton". What does begotten mean?

It holds me up quite nicely, thank-you. :)
As someone who never had the hand strength to pull myself up on the skis, got to say, your hand strength has a lot to do with it. lol

"We believe... in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds (æons), Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father."
Nicene Creed, 325 AD

What does begotten mean?

"We don't use the words begetting or begotten much in modern English, but everyone still knows what they mean. To beget is to become the father of: to create is to make. And the difference is this. When you beget, you beget something of the same kind as yourself.
Now that is the first thing to get clear. What God begets is God; just as what man begets is man. What God creates is not God, just as what man creates is not man."

Interesting, so I wonder how they could be considered "holy" since any errors would be considered corruption.
Because "holy" does not mean "perfect".

Also, not every "error" means "corruption".

For everyone on this thread:

Okay - lets get down to the nitty gritty....

If you were trapped on a desert island, and could have but one translation of the Bible, which one would it be?

Me: KJV

P.S. You don't have to put why.
My eSword app. :p

(Explanation anyway. First, there is no way I could get trapped on a desert island, because I can't travel enough to get that lost, unless the island was in the middle of the Delaware River, in which case, I'd hail the next boat/ship going by. Meanwhile, reception is fine on the Delaware. And given I'm just nosy enough to need Bible aids, no way I'm giving up my ESV permanently just to do a word search in a concordance. lol)

How does one know if they're being led by the Holy Spirit or as the KJV says "another spirit"?
When you are working to discredit Bibles written in plain English you are assisting a spirit of division. It is faithless to believe God can only speak one dialect of one language.

Did God say that He would preserve any of these things you listed save His word?

"Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." (John 5:39)

The scriptures "testify" of Jesus and Jesus said:

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)

You will find the "truth" when you search the scriptures and not errors!

So where did you see that original Hebrew? :)
You have faith that the copies of copies of copies are inerrant.

Question, do you think the Holy Spirit actually moved Micah to write that Jesus had an origin? Or is it possible that the copy of copies of copies could incorrect?

Also are you aware that there is a conspiracy in the bible where Satan appears as an angel of light to decieve people?

12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Do you think it's coincidnental or conspiratorial that somebody wants 72, a christ with an origin or a christ that is "a son of the gods"?

I wonder if Marlilyn Furguson was right when she clamed that Christian churches would be preaching the new age gospel to prepare the way for the cosmic christ.... Probably just a coincidence lol... no conspiracy here.
Heads up: You might actually want to listen to the person you want to argue with. Given you and Trof are now arguing and yet think much the same way about what everyone else is thinking.
