1.) The "white robe" is symbolic. Be careful not to take everything in Revelation too literally. We won't necessarily be literally wearing white robes.
2.) I don't see any underwear described in that passage. Does that mean we'll be naked under those robes?! Scandal!

im getin tried of this just listen to this pray to God that the Holy Ghost will fill you will his fruits, wisdom and give you a disering heart. you guys are just getting mad at me becuse im saying something you dont aggre with but if you pray you wont have to talk to me you can just know and if you dont pray then you problly dont need to come to this web site

Yaeger, how do you know we haven't prayed to God and that the Holy Spirit tells us that it doesn't matter what we wear under our clothes? You are being arrogant and presumptious to believe that God only speaks to you and that we haven't taken matters like this to God and heard our own answers. God doesn't want you to wear thongs...good, because I don't want you to wear a thong, either. But I'm not going to go to church with giant lines that make people's attention go straight to my underwear when I can be decent, wear a thong, and happily worship God instead of worry about if people can see my panties.

well seeing how i dont have any need or use for a thong and im not trying to convince myself of it being useful so my pray vision has nothing blocking it i dont bevile that the thongs we see in todays world have any value to a persons life you say it prevents you from worrying about panty lines big deal someone see that were not trying to be eye candy in anyway this is not of God... what else do you bevile a thonge is handy for there are many cons

Again, you are being crazy presumptious. Are you saying ONLY YOU can have a clear vision about this and if someone disagrees they must not be praying right or something? What does the Holy Spirit tell you about skirts? Those turn some guys on, don't cover as much as pants do, plus they have a very provacative opening instead of being closed legged.

I want to know how you, without a doubt, KNOW, that the HOLY SPIRIT came down and told you that thongs were bad and you needed to tell the world. I want RELEVENT scripture, not stuff you've used way out of context. If you can give me anywhere in the bible where it says THOU SHALT NOT WEAR A SPECIFIC CUT OF FABRIC UNDERNEATH YOUR PANTS, I will personally go into my closet, and throw out every thong I own.

rofl I totally missed the everythong!!! ok, i've now read the entire thread and must say this is the most fun i've ever had reading a thread. I laughed my face off! thanks guys. Oh & my position on the whole thong thing... as long as its under your pants, not sticking out for the world to see when you bend over to tie your shoes then i suppose it would just be underware. Just today in town my husband & i saw a lady with low rise pants, muffin top, wearing a thong & a tatoo just above it bend over and do a plumbers curtsy... our response was "we sooooooo... should not have had to witness that". so, bottom line, i dont think that would have caused someone to think bad thoughts cause it was just soooo disgusting, but maybe it would have for some, so yes, make sure the thong is always under your pants and not exposed in any way.

Not only do I not agree with you, yeager, but I also believe that saying "God told me this and this is His Word" when it is unbiblical is a huge sin. Do not twist your words in Gods mouth! Dont you know how horrible that is?
You can say that I'm wrong, that He really did tell you, but so far it doesn't match anything Biblically sound so I can't believe it's from God.
I'm sorry if i sounded harsh, that wasn't my intention. I am no longer trying to convince you (it can not be done) but to warn you. You are still young and if this is what you believe, so be it. I'm just warning you again- do not say that "this is from God" when it is not. That can cause some serious judgment.
