Don't waste your energy. He's a troll that gets banned and re-registers again with the same trolling technique.
True, there must be a reason. It’s kind of pathetic.

God making regulations to reduce/prevent abuse does not necessarily mean He approves of men's practices.

Here (<- link) is an excellent resource that lays out how slavery in ancient Israel was
superior in every way to how slaves were treated in other ancient cultures. Laws indicate
that in Israel the fate of slaves was not nearly as harsh as their conditions elsewhere.

Furthermore, it is noteworthy that the entire formal presentation of law in the Torah
begins with the laws of slavery. After the introductory verse in Exodus 21:1,
“These are
the rules that you shall set before them,”
the Torah commences with the laws of slavery.
This is unique among the law codes of antiquity.

The reason for this placement of slavery laws in primary position, and for the relatively
beneficent treatment of slaves in Israel, is clear. Israel’s national experience had been
one of slavery. Indeed, the people had emerged as a unified nation during the period
of slavery in Egypt. This experience was so central to Israel’s consciousness that it never
forgot its roots. It permeates the Bible, and thus explains both the position and the
particulars of the laws of slavery in the Torah.

And? You don't grammar too good. What's your excuse?
What your excuse for following a creator who endorses beating people with a weapon as they are your property.

When you have answered my question, and asked yours, both with correct grammar, I'll be happy to answer.

Simple answer is yes, under some instances, during OT times. The slavery we know of today however such as stealing and selling people, human trafficking, etc. was in fact outlawed in the Bible ("anyone who kidnaps someone is to be put to death, whether the victim has been sold or is still in the kidnapper’s possession." - Exodus 21:16). Basically you cannot enslave a kidnapped person or their descendants, and basically all slaves are kidnapped at some point ( including the slaves from Africa during the slave trade days).
So you follow the OT creator who endorses owning other humans as property.

Physical punishment was considered the appropriate response for acts of disobedience and rebellion. Are you familiar with "spare the rod and spoil the child? Same difference. Now the rod has been spared and we are overrun with entitled snowflake lazy brats.

God making regulations to reduce/prevent abuse does not necessarily mean He approves of men's practices.

So you present a logical fallacy.

Is more concerned with typo's. Than slavery.
God has always desired people to treat each other better. Let's talk about the flood. More specifically, the reason for it:

The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth, and that every inclination
of the thoughts of his heart was altogether evil all the time. And the LORD regretted that He had
made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the LORD said, “I will blot out man,
whom I have created, from the face of the earth—every man and beast and crawling creature
and bird of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them.”

Not preventing anything. Literally giving instructions who you can buy, who you can beat, who inherits the slave.

Exactly. Oh! Laws were given. Do you think people followed them??? All the time? 100% perfectly?

You didn't say the creator you believe in never endorsed slavery. You admitted he did. So you do believe in a creator who endorsed slavery.
So now you change your point.. The other responses you said that God endorses slavery PRESENT TENSE but now you have improved in comprehension one step.. to God endorsed slavery PAST TENSE.. Very good,, you have risen in my estimation ..

Now lets see if you can progress even more..

Go back and read my answers and you will see i said it was for a certain Time and for a certain people... The Hebrew people who where linked to Him by the Old Covenant and it was limited to the heathen nations living around them.. See so much detail in my responses.. Lets see if your understanding can become even more detailed and thus accurate..

Just like the terms and conditions you agreed to when you signed up do not prevent you from immediately breaking them.

Is that the site's fault? Or yours?

So nothing was prevented. Prevention would be - do not own people as property. But it literally says the opposite.

Owning another human should not be at any time.

And? Why are you bleating about slavery? If you don't like what God said to the Israelites ~3300 years ago, don't follow Him. Nobody's forcing you.
