Good point which is something those that have a hard time with the water being 15 cubits over the mountain tops need to remember or investigate. The mountains at the time of the flood weren't as high as they are now.
The Bible does not say that the water was 15 cubits over the mountain tops. Its a wrong translation.

Water was 15 cubits deep in total, it also covered the hills.

Translation is always an intepretation, we must realize this.

That is interesting for 15 cubits is equal to 7.5 yards or 24.5 feet.

do trees grow back in forty days or a year, where the seeds protected during the flood.
Why do you think all the trees died? Some trees can survive a flood..

I can agree with that could have, though how did 50,000 different species of trees survive the flood.

Tree seeds don't drown.. Seeds can shoot sometimes many years after they are produced by the tree..

Good question, I have no idea lol.. though some researchers say today there are around three trillion trees on the earth after human cultivation and the like, possibly earth had twice as many trees so if that holds up I'd say might have well been twice as many species before.

lol,, May just be.

One thing we know. Gods creation has an amazing tendency to survive natural disasters. I would say the flood is no different.

Although i wonder how many bees Noah had on the ark? Someone had to pollinate them when the trees started to grow again to get fruit..

No doubt about that some of God's creations can survive the most extreme place on earth from deep ocean pressures to deep dark caves or even close to the edge of volcano's.

Now that's a interesting topic (bees) in China there is almost no bees if not any, apple farmers in China have to hand pollinate the flowers, Gees that is got to be a huge task to do. Here in America it's not easy either, a lot of farmers hire bee keepers to truck in bees to pollinate the crops.

Our environment is such a delicate thing, our co-habitation with other animals on earth is a touchy thing indeed, if all bees go extinct I think our food supply could be in great danger, even if the bees don't go the way of extinction, still with the population growing by leaps and bounds, our resources are being stretched ever so thin.

I belief prophesy speaks of this, One of the birth pangs of mat 24 is severe hunger which exponentially gets worse.. It could be the bees dieing off (I know farmers are worried about that as we have seen lots of bees die over the past few years. and do not know the cause.) could have something to do with it..

2 bees. What type? Can a hive survive with one queen and one worker for a year?

Neonicotinoids in insecticides used on GM crops are believed to be the cause of mass bee deaths.

Okay, if it's misinterpreted, can you explain how the Ark comes to rest on the mountains of Ararat?

Genesis 8:4 "and in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat."

could be, I know many believe it is our fault the birth pangs occur.. Our mistreatment of the earth, which causes it to go into these things (like Global issues causing all these great massive storms these past few years. )
