There were two sets of laws namely the laws that were written by Moses and the laws written by God. The laws written by Moses were on papyris and placed outside the Ark and God's laws on stone and written by God Himself, were placed inside the Ark. The laws of Moses were not permanent and contained laws about circumcision, meat offerings, special sabbaths etc whilst God's laws are permanent and should be held until Jesus comes again. An example of a special Sabbath was where Jesus Christ was crucified on a Wednesday, also the day of preparation, lay in the grave on the special Sabbath - the Thursday, and was resurrected three days later on the Sabbath day - Saturday. The teaching that Jesus was crucified on the Friday is again a false teaching.
The first law that was written was on stone by the finger of God and Moses broke those stones, but all laws that were given to Moses was given by God and under the law of Moses.

Over 2,000 years later after Paul rebuked Peter to his face and still are arguing law verses the Cross. Wow

The question should be, how long was the Law of Moses to Last?

And the cross was given for our salvation, sanctification, deliverance, healing, living victoriously, and eternal life.

What did the law do except condemn us?

Israel was the people with the law and the promises, the Gentiles, didn't have the law. If the Law of Moses was separate from the ten commandments why didn't the Gentiles have the ten commandments, if it was going to be carried over to the new?

Romans 2:12. For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13. (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Please read what our Lord, Jesus Christ, teaches about the law. Then please learn about the "bad" laws our Father gave that could not be followed. If a law is good, and the Holy Spirit will teach you, you know in your heart it is still valid to follow, even though we live in the daily fresh grace of Yahweh every day. If you learn these basic teachings you will understand we are to obey the wishes of our Father, just as any good child does here in this age to his father.

You answer your own question. That condemnation is destroyed on the cross, but the law will always be wisdom and good. Learn the teachings from Yeshua, Jesus, in all of the Word, for He is the Word from Genesis to the final amen of Revelation

We actually exceed the law ,for instance Thou shall not commit adultery, but I say unto you whosoever even looks on a woman with lust in his heart has already committed adultery

Here is the bigger question, where is the ark? and why is it no longer needed. One of the reasons for the veil splitting was to show the people that the ark was not there. They had some stone in the Holy of Holies. He no longer resides between the cherubs but in the hearts of those that believe.
Well, I think it is in Ireland, anyhoo...

Heb 8:5 who serve the copy and shadow of the heavenly things, as Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle. For He said, "SEE THAT YOU MAKE ALL THINGS ACCORDING TO THE PATTERN SHOWN YOU ON THE MOUNTAIN."

The Ark that Israel had in the Tabernacle and later the Temple is a copy, a replica of the true Ark. Where is the Ark?

Rev 11:19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.

It is in the third heaven where it has always been. Since the Ark that Moses had made was an exact copy, what do you suppose is in the heavenly Ark?

And who was that LORD who spoke to Moses? The Word, the One who became Jesus Christ. The same One who said...

Mat 5:17 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
Mat 5:18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
Mat 5:19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Luk 16:17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail.

Mat 19:17 So He said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments."

So the first thing "christians" today tell you is that the Law is done away. Seems they don't know very much about the One they claim to worship.

well i think Ethiopia is more likely than Ireland..

even so:

In those days, when your numbers have increased greatly in the land," declares the LORD, "people will no longer say, 'The ark of the covenant of the LORD.' It will never enter their minds or be remembered; it will not be missed, nor will another one be made.
(Jeremiah 3:16)

because, just as you say, the true ark is in heaven, and we have Christ - there is no need of the 'shadows of things to come' for us.

Christ is not the shadow of the Ark though. The Ark is the Mercy Seat, the very Throne of God. That Throne will come to the earth...

Rev 21:1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.
Rev 21:2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.
Rev 21:4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."

As far as Ireland, Jeremiah and Baruch transported the princess Tea-Tephi there. Tea-Tephi was the daughter of (and only survivor of) King Zedekiah. All of his sons were killed and if this part of the Word of God is to be true...

Jer 33:17 "For thus says the LORD: 'David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel;
Jer 33:18 nor shall the priests, the Levites, lack a man to offer burnt offerings before Me, to kindle grain offerings, and to sacrifice continually.' "
Jer 33:19 And the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,
Jer 33:20 "Thus says the LORD: 'If you can break My covenant with the day and My covenant with the night, so that there will not be day and night in their season,
Jer 33:21 then My covenant may also be broken with David My servant, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and with the Levites, the priests, My ministers.

Then someone of the royal family had to survive and that was Tea-Tephi. No one knows exactly where the Ark is, but Ireland is as good a guess as any. Do a search on Tea-Tephi Ireland and see what you might read.

If I have read this in my readings through of the Word I do not recall this teaching. Where did you learn this?

The discourse in Hebrews is a reference to the Tent of the Meeting, the Tabernacle where the priests did service.

Now if he were on earth, he would not be a priest at all, seeing there are those who offer the gifts according to the law;

Heb 8:5
who serve that which is a copy and shadow of the heavenly things, even as Moses is warned of God when he is about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern that was showed thee in the mount.

Here is the Tabernacle to have been assembled according to the pattern and instruction given by our Father. In the back of the Tabernacle is the Holy of Holies where the Ark of the Covenant was kept.
