Peters vision in Acts 10 is a good example of God working with the Jews. Peter was hungry and while he was meditating on the Lord, he saw a vision of all manner of animals. A voice from heaven said, "Rise Peter, kill and eat," to which Peter replied, "Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common and unclean. " This was done three times. The answer came back saying, "What God hath cleansed, make not thou common."
There are at least three lessons to be learnt from this, whoever says "not so" should never say "not so Lord" and whoever says "Lord, should never say "not so."
Another lesson God taught Peter that day, is that the law of Moses was ended.
