The only way I am bearing false witness is if my doctrine is not the faith of Christianity.

That may be your perspective; but it is not mine.

And if it is your perspective, then I suppose that you judge me not to be a Christian.

I did not bear false witness.
Of course you are going to say that aren't you. The bible must be read as one cohesive whole. Your picking out the partial letter has brought you into contradiction with other parts of the letter. Anyway, you have simply proved what others do who claim as you do. They excuse sin when they commit it by either stating they have not committed sin, or, they try and justify what they have done/said

''All you have is a doctrine based on the partial letter of scripture. It has no reality in yours or anyone elses life. I have seen many with this, honestly I have.''

''You said that the faith of Christianity doesn't have reality in anyone's life.''

People who claim not to commit sin simply excuse sin as not really sin, they try and justify it. There is nothing new under the sun
I do not claim not to commit sin.

I claim that the righteousness of the law is fulfilled in me inasmuch as I walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit (Romans 8:4).

And that, because we are not obligated to obey the flesh (Romans 8:12 (kjv, NLT), it is possible to walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit for an extended period of time; even for the rest of our lives (Luke 1:74-75).

As you keep quoting sin is the transgression of the law.

I stated your doctrine was no ones reality. Because no one perfectly follows the letter of what is written. I did not say what you claimed I said

Anyway, a good example of those who claim nigh on sinlessness/they do not commit sin, not being prepared to admit when they have born false witness, it just gets excused/justified. No wonder people like to proclaim they do not commit sin if they live by such a standard

As you keep quoting sin is the transgression of the law.
There is the letter of the law; which no one can be obedient to (Galatians 6:13); and then there is the spirit of the law which anyone with the Holy Spirit can abide by (Romans 7:6, 8:4).

And it is also not my doctrine that any one can obey the letter of what is written (see Galatians 6:13).

The spirit of the law is a different story (Romans 7:6, 8:4)

Then you have not been born of God?

And therefore, it is possible for me to walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit, for an extended period of time; even for the rest of my life (Luke 1:74-75).

As long as I abide in Christ (1 John 3:6, 2:17), I am born of God.

The Holy Spirit maintains my freedom from walking in sin because I am born of God: inasmuch as I abide in Christ; that is, inasmuch as I walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.

Then you have not been born of God?
I know that I have been justified through faith in the blood of Jesus. It remains to be seen at what point I will be born of God since I do not claim to be perfect even as it would be true of one who is perfect (Philippians 3:15 and context).

Declare what the lie was that I spoke against you...if I did indeed bear false witness...and I will confess to doing so.

You wouldnt confess, I know you wouldn't. You know what the lie is anyway, I have made perfectly clear what it was.

What is the new, but the new life that we live in Christ; wherein we "doth not commit sin" and "cannot sin" (1 John 3:9)?

Post 610 justbyfaith said

Yet the Bible is clear that those who are born of God "cannot sin"...

I could go on and on, but will just quote your favourite bible verses:

6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 1John 3:9

I will repeat this:

''All you have is a doctrine based on the partial letter of scripture. It has no reality in yours or anyone elses life. I have seen many with this, honestly I have.''

Because, no one perfectly follows the letter of what is written. If you want to continue bearing false witness against me, that is your decision, it isn’t me that will be hurt by you doing so.

No, you have not made it clear. Spell it out for me, I'm stupid.
I will not do so again, it is written very, very, plainly. I know you justbyfaith, because I know others who make comments such as you do here. They will not confess, or repent, they just try and bog it down, go round and round, to try and evade admitting their wrong

I will say that I do not perfectly obey the letter of the law (Galatians 6:13); but that the spirit of what is written is a different story (Romans 7:6, 8:4).

According to the spirit of the law (Romans 7:6), the righteousness of the law is fulfilled in me inasmuch as I walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit (Romans 8:4).

But I do not claim to be perfectly obedient to the letter of the law (Galatians 6:13).
