How did the giants survive a global flood?

Although prophecy does say waters/flood refers to people, that is not the case in Noah's flood. It was a literal flood of water.​

Assumption. Gen. 2:5, 6 describe a fog that God used to water the earth before any rain. But that was still very early in the creation process. People also assume that people ate only fruit, because God gave them fruit for meat (which just translates to food). I believe God also instructed Adam on which animals he could use for food. We are first given reference to clean creatures in Gen. 7:2 when Noah was gathering animals for the ark. Obviously, that had already been their custom. There were fresh-water rivers then (see Gen. 2:10).

for Genesis about water, before it rained, there were rivers to supply water regularly to crops, what would heaven be like? Is it true that there's no rainy days in heaven, that there's always sunny days, perfect temperature with rivers in heaven?

believing the text when it says all flesh on the face of the earth was destroyed in the flood that wasn't preserved on the ark ((re: Genesis 6:17)), there are two simple possibilities:

if the giantism spoken of is genetic, someone on the ark carried the genes. we assume Noah was not carrying these genes, but we don't know anything about the wives of Noah and his sons. there's our possibility.

if the giantism spoken of is artificial, then the cause of it before the flood could have occurred again later at any time.

so does the Bible speak of it as though it's carried down through generations, or as though it's a result of willful biological experimentation and alteration?

Why would you not be surprised if Adam and Eve's offspring were all male. That would make no sense. But regardless of this, we have the following scripture which is before the fall and which demonstrates that daughters were also being born:

"Now when men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they took as wives whomever they chose.

They went after what the eye beholds lusting after the flesh (beautiful) and not what the Spirit of Christ requires a believing heart .Sons of God are those led by the Holy Spirit (believers)

Daughters of men describe natural unconverted mankind . Not daughters of angels.... who first of all do not marry, and secondly they have no DNA needed to multiply .

The Jew were simply being unevenly yoked violating the law of the spiritual seed, the generation of Christ, that was passed down until the Son of man Jesus was born .

Noah was the only one without blemish. the scripture says nothing of the daughter in laws of Noahs wife. the corruption (i think the corruption was in the blood) could have came from there.

Your Gen 6:4 is incomplete.

Now the giants were upon the earth in those days; and after that when the sons of God were wont to go in to the daughters of men, they bore children to them, those were the giants of old, the men of renown.

So, your question is technically answered by a better reading.

There are several possibilities:

a) sons of God were again somehow influencing middle east after the flood - thats why Israel was commanded to kill them all without mercy.

b) willful cultivation, like some special clan being cultivated to be a clan of giant warriors for centuries.

c) some "random" genetic mutation in some clan making people to grow extraordinary big.

c) "giant" does not necessarily have to mean "giant body", it was quite a common term for somebody being excellent, powerful and famous (kings, rulers, famous warriors, half-gods etc).

Option A does the least violence to the actual text. People seem to HATE the idea that fallen angelic beings took on the form of men and mated with human women to produce a hybrid, demonic race.

Tares planted by the devil comes to mind. There is something genetic going on I believe.

I think the giants breathed in a lot of air, and they hanged on to trees, or were able to climb to the highest mountain, and those might have helped, and they might have developed filters from plants to breathe those waters

The devil tried the same thing again that he did before the flood. He sent more spirits to mess with the genetics of humans, causing more nephilim. The nephilim were eventually wiped out about the time of David (Goliath was one..) or soon after. The spirits that caused it are awaiting judgment in Tartarus:
