God spoke through the Law and the Prophets proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom of God, which everyone presses into, crowding in to take hold of it, but...
17But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for a single stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law.
for all the pressing and crowding, no one is able to enter, justifying ourselves before men.
15So He said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is prized among men is detestable before God.
in verse 16 interjects with until , which to me implies a difference, first one outer and the other inner. which to me opens up to all to take ahold of by Jesus Christ making it possible for all believers.

1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the gospel is what God says to his children forever it’s the only place to hear it .

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:35‬ ‭

when we receive the Holy Spirit he will always bring us back to Christs word spoken on earth

“These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:25-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

because what he said is gods eternal judgement

“He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.”
‭‭John‬ ‭12:48-50‬ ‭

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the one and only way for us to hear what the father has said to his children is to fix upon his son and hear his word it’s eternal

“Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

to know what shod says to his children we have to hear the gospel of his only son

“Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; and declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: by whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭1:1, 3

when we hear the gospel we’re hearing the truth God sent Jesus to preach for salvation and redemption of his children

“Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”
‭‭John‬ ‭18:37‬ ‭

it’s the only place to hear the word of God spoken to his children THE TRUE God and his word is understood by hearing and believing the gospel

“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:20‬ ‭

The only place to hear it is here

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:6-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

There’s no way to be a child of God if we reject the gospel if we accept and believe that is who we are

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

there’s only a narrow gate , only one shepherd , one way truth and life , one resurrection and life only 1 I Am only one messiah one lord faith and baptism

and it’s the simplicity that Jesus spoke forth and said believe me and live

the word hasn’t changed
As always, great words you share, in the verse from Luke, to me, it implies an action many will or won't.

Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

yes brother scripture really annihilates the hypergrace doctrine the “nothing expected of us doctrine “ and changes it over to an operation of faith where as we hear we begin to change and grow in our capacity to understand and as we grow we’re also getting stronger

God bless brother Jesus was telling us to be like daddy and to repent when we find we came up short

.and I recently put the most amazing way in my signature.

26He prays to God and finds favor;
he sees God’s face and shouts for joy,
and God restores His righteousness
to that man.
most amazing indeed, what is said to be the oldest book in the Bible, even from the beginning the gospel is preached and for all men. God changes not! Thank you again Mem, I needed to add Job to my bible notepad, I reread the thread with a better focus, saw the scripture, knew the book, didn't see the chapter, the hunt was on, and I was going to add the full book to my notepad, already had 3 full chapters copied, found it in 33 but got the whole book finally in my notepad. I click back to CC thread on your post at the bottom seeing book chapter and verse, which slapped me silly with joy, I really enjoyed reviewing Job today and I loved how Chapter 33 concluded it took me directly to John 1:4 in thought, many thanks :)

Your siggy:
2 Corinthians 4:7-9
Now we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this surpassingly great power
is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on all sides, but not crushed; perplexed,
but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.

Psalm 34:19 plus 2 Corinthians 4:8-9~ Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers us from them all. In every way we're troubled but not crushed, frustrated but not in despair, persecuted but not abandoned, struck down but not destroyed.:)

Psalm 115
13He will bless those who fear the LORD—
small and great alike.

14May the LORD give you increase,
both you and your children.

15May you be blessed by the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

16The highest heavens belong to the LORD,
but the earth He has given to mankind.

17It is not the dead who praise the LORD,
nor any who descend into silence.

18But it is we who will bless the LORD,
both now and forevermore.

Hallelujah!

A still small voice and of course Scripture. God reminds us the Scriptures according to the Bible. Everything the Holy Ghost says matches Scripture. He has come to testify of Jesus. So try the spirits. Every spirit that testifies of Jesus is of God. The spirit of antichrist denies Him.

ty for sharing, i thought of John 3:8, Acts 2:2

John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

How do you think God speaks to His children today?
1. Primarily through the words and actions of the Lord Jesus Christ: God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (Heb 1:1,2)

2. Then through the Bible. Every part of the Bible is for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness (2 Tim 3:16,17)

3. Then through the inner voice of the Holy Spirit. (For those who are not saved the Holy Spirit convicts and convinces them when the true Gospel is preached).

4. Then through those who faithfully minister the Word (evangelists, pastors, and teachers).

5. Then through consistent and devout brothers and sisters in Christ who communicate with God and to whom God gives a message for us.

6. Then even through those who may not necessarily be believers but are used by God regardless.

7. Then through the marvels of His creation.

8. Then through providential intervention in our circumstances.
