Matthew 1:18

18 This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about[a]: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit.

Jesus lived in Mary's womb for 9 months.

Matthew 9:20

20 Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak.

The woman was healed just by touching Jesus' cloak!

2 Kings 13:21

21 Once while some Israelites were burying a man, suddenly they saw a band of raiders; so they threw the man’s body into Elisha’s tomb. When the body touched Elisha’s bones, the man came to life and stood up on his feet.

If Elisha's bones was so powerful, how much more Mary's womb would be?

Acts 5:15

15 As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.

Even Peter's shadow healed the sick

BUT THEN:

Matthew 13:55-58

55 “Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary, and aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? 56 Aren’t all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?”

a. Would you sleep with Mary, whose womb was Jesus' sacred home for 9 months, if you were Joseph?
b. How come Jesus' brothers didn't possess any special powers?
c. How come Mary herself was not a healer?

absolutely a ignorant string how holy are your lips or your hands how holy are your body parts? Pure asinine foolishness even using scripture makes it even more appalling

Well there is a lining in the womb, called a placenta, and it comes out after birth:).

Seriously, I don't know. But I do believe that Joseph slept with Mary after Jesus was born and she did give birth to Jesus's brothers. I don't buy into the Catholic (in my opinion) nonsense that Mary remained a virgin her whole life.

a) if i were Joseph and Mary was my wife, absolutely
b) because they were night divine in nature. children of Joseph, not God
c) Mary is just another sinner like the rest of us. why would she be a healer? She was just the vessel to carry Christ into the earth and raise his human form through childhood. nothing more

I'm not a Catholic either. I am just wondering. The Catholic version would have been better. Appreciate your honesty though. At least, I'm not alone

Okay, I can accept letter A. On B and C though, I was trying to connect it to the verses mentioned above (the cloak and the bones)

That is actually the essence of the question. Just too many to ask hence just Mary and His siblings.

Patnuby the woman did not make the CHILD holy the SEED that concieved the Child made the woman and the CHILD holy. Jesus was not concieved by a man's seed it was the SEED of GOD that concieved the Child Jesus. And Mary was not holy when she was not preagnant. Her holiness came with the SEED of God. Unlike the catholics that believe that she was born holy.

It was the seed of Joseph that concieved James and his other borthers. Jesus had only GOD as Father. We have men (fleshly men) as fathers, until God gives us the BORN OF GOD..... When we are born of Water (living water/the Word of God/ Truth) and Spirit (His Holy Spirit) it is the SEED of God then that givs us the BORN AGAIN (Born of God) as Jesus was born of God, then we are also made HOLY by the SEED that remaineth in us,

Look this is the SEED that makes Holy.... Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. (God's SEED)

Some more about the understanding of the SEED of God... Ezek 36:26 and 27... A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Bible says Mary had sex with Joseph
this blows away all catholic religion
Babylon is over.

Mat 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise:
When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph,
before they came together,
she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

so you either believe the BIBLE
or the pope

that is what revelation is all about
choose you today who is God in your life
as for me and my house we will serve the Lord God in Heaven
and worship on his day not the popes day...

Thank you, Cobus.
What I meant was, Mary's womb was made holy by Jesus being inside it for 9 months. In my mind, Mary's womb is similar to His cloak. If His cloak could heal the bleeding woman, how come Mary was never a healer. The same case with His siblings. Jesus' siblings stayed where Jesus was for 9 months. If Elisha's bones can make a dead person alive, it is just fair if I wonder that womb could make Jesus' siblings a bit more powerful?

John 2:12 After this He went down to Capernaum, He and His mother and His brothers and His disciples; and they stayed there a few days.

Acts 1:14 These all with one mind were continually devoting themselves to prayer, along with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

There is nothing in scripture to indicate that Mary remained a virgin. To the contrary, we see enough evidence to conclude that Mary had children after Jesus was born. For some reason the Catholic Church seems to be compelled to worship Mary and make her out to be someone that she was not.

Luke 11:27-28
[SUP]27 [/SUP]While Jesus was saying these things, one of the women in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, “Blessed is the womb that bore You and the breasts at which You nursed.” [SUP]28 [/SUP]But He said, On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.”

John 2:3-5
[SUP]3 [/SUP]When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus *said to Him, “They have no wine.” [SUP]4 [/SUP]And Jesus *said to her, “Woman, what does that have to do with us? My hour has not yet come.” [SUP]5 [/SUP]His mother *said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”

While some will say that Jesus was being disrespectful or ugly here, I certainly do not believe that to be the case. But more importantly, He is not speaking to her as if she were Mother of God, but a God-fearing woman who God allowed to carry Jesus in her womb.

I will tell you right now, that if Mary were to hear someone worshipping her (or praying to her), while she was alive (in the flesh), she would have told them to stop. Now I do think that she would have gladly prayed for you had you asked her while she was living, but I do not think you should be doing it now. Pray to God, in the name of Jesus Christ.

To understand why people should not pray to/thru Mary and maybe just maybe the world will have less pain and suffering?

Everyone in the Bible except Jesus is dead. Except Elijah and Enoch, everyone has long been rotten and returned to dust.
