Re: jacked...

No. I am not stuck.

Rule does not mean master over, Like the world wants you to think.

Rule means to care for., and provide for. Like God wants us to think.

You the one stuck and ignoring scripture.

Not according to the Hebrew usages of the root and its 27 derivatives in the OT.

You knew this question was coming, so here it is: How do you come to this conclusion? This is probably the most important point you have made on this thread. If you can explain how death occurred before sin, it opens up a whole new prospective for OEC. Look forward to your explanation.

Death before sin

Job 38.25 - 41

Who has cut a channel for the flood; or a way for the thunderclaps, to make it rain on the earth where no man is, a wilderness and no man in it; to satisfy the waste and desolation, and to cause the source of grass to sprout? Is there a father for the rain? Or who has given birth to the drops of dew? From whose womb comes forth the ice; and the frost of the heavens, who fathered it; the waters hidden like stone, and the face of the deep is captured? Can you bind the bands of the Pleiades, or loosen the cords of Orion? Can you bring out the constellations in their season; or can you guide the Bear with its sons? Do you know the limits of the heavens; can you establish their rulership on the earth? Can you lift your voice to the clouds, so that floods of water may cover you? Can you send lightnings, that they may go and say to you, Here we are? Who has put wisdom in the inward parts; or who has given understanding to the mind? Who can by wisdom number the clouds or who can lay down the jars of the heavens, when the dust is melted into hardness, and the clods cling fast together? Will you hunt the prey for the lion, or fill the appetite of the young lions, when they crouch in dens, and sit in the cover of their hiding place? Who provides food for the raven, when its young ones cry to God and wander about without food?

Here we have Yahweh giving Job a clinic on creation.

Observe that God provides Job with a list of the creation BEFORE mankind!

Lions hunting for prey? Lions are carnivores. This means that they stalked and killed their food, as plainly stated in the text.

Ravens are omnivores – which means that they also ate meat – which means animal death.

So…as you can see, all these things transpired BEFORE the first humans.

Animal death existed BEFORE Adam sinned.

Period.

That's the kind of ignorance which keeps non-believers from seeking-out Christianity.

No.

Death existed BEFORE sin entered into humanity.

No.

Its only a contradiction to YEC's.

No.

No.

No.

Not according to scripture.

Not at all....but feel free to defend your position with scriptural exegesis...
Jesus told us: ‘But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female’ (Mark 10:6).

In these words of Jesus we find He teaches that Adam and Eve were created in ‘the beginning of the creation’—not billions of years after the beginning!

Jesus was a young-earth creationist. Jesus consistently treated the miracle accounts of the Old Testament as straightforward, truthful, historical accounts (e.g., creation of Adam, Noah and the Flood, Lot and his wife in Sodom, Moses and the manna, and Jonah in the fish). He continually affirmed the authority of Scripture over men’s ideas and traditions (Matthew 15:1–9). In Mark 10:6 we have the clearest (but not the only) statement showing that Jesus was a young-earth creationist. He teaches that Adam and Eve were made at the “beginning of creation,” not billions of years after the beginning, as would be the case if the universe were really billions of years old. So, if Jesus was a young-earth creationist, then how can His faithful followers have any other view?

If you liberal Christians reject a literal Genesis in favour of evolutionary ideas (or even just millions of years), this puts you on a slippery slide of unbelief. If we re-interpret God’s Word in Genesis to fit man’s fallible opinion, then ultimately, it would only be consistent to apply this same hermeneutic (method of interpretation) elsewhere — even to Christ’s Resurrection. Your and other liberal Christians need to get off that 'slippery slide' of unbelief.

Psalm 118:8 warns us:

"It is better to trust in God, than to trust in man."

Following your YEC logic, then Jesus was not only created, but He was created in the very beginning with Adam and Eve...

And to the angel of the assembly of Laodicea, write: These things says the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the beginning of the creation of God: (Rev 3.14).

Here is the link. "Dinosaur and Human Tracks Found Together, Page 1"

There is a lots of this type of evidence around. These picture was taken at a site here in Texas where I live.
Thank you so much for this site. I am going to spend a lot of time here and buy some books and cd's about dinosaurs and the golden wheels that were found in the Red Sea. So thank you again, this is very interesting.

Hi, Sir. There must be some interesting geological sites in Utah, also, right? Did you go to Zion park? with all the ancient rock formations?

The age of the earth is hotly debated among Christians today. Secular scientist insist the erath is millions or even billions of years old. Many Christians agree. How old do you believe the earth is and what do you base your belief on?
The earth is younger than Jesus Christ, and He represents the New. So why do we discuss the age?

Utah... Zion national park.
Oh okay! did you visit there? I would love to go there some day. I think there's a kind of natural bridge as well, that has formed through wind erosion. Utah seems to me a somewhat neglected state from natural history and tourist perspectives.

Red Rock Canon, and Bryce Canon are equally as nice, and yes we visited all three. Just two days, but could have spent a complete week there. very nice. Several arches there also that can be called bridges.

Utah is 'funny'; it's arid enough to be Southwest, yet borders Idaho, which one would expect to be almost as well watered as the Northwest. But it's definitely not Northwest in character.

I'm a biblical creationist. We should endeavour to present good science. As such, there were some arguments that were used in the past, that have been found wanting and should no longer be used to argue the creationist model.

"Paluxy tracks prove that humans and dinosaurs co-existed.” Some prominent creationist promoters of these tracks have long since withdrawn their support. Some of the allegedly human tracks may be artifacts of erosion of dinosaur tracks obscuring the claw marks. There is a need for properly documented research on the tracks before we would use them to argue the coexistence of humans and dinosaurs. Research to date has not been promising about the tracks, however—see Human and dinosaur fossil footprints in the Upper Cretaceous of North America? But this does not mean that there isn’t good evidence that dinosaurs and humans co-existed—see Q&A: Dinosaurs.

Re: jacked...

The command to "rule over" is to establish the function of man in relationship to the rest of creation. The rest of creation is his dominion.
Hey EG, I noticed you "liked this", perhaps the "great city" of revelation 17:18 ruled over the kings of the earth to established the function of God's dominion over the nations of the world and the victory that Christ brought in at Calvary/Jerusalem. Let's stick to the same system of literal hermeneutics now, genre doesn't matter.

Explain this!

DINOSAUR and HUMAN TRACKS FOUND TOGETHER!

Alright.

The supposed human tracks have involved a variety of phenomena, including metatarsal dinosaur tracks, erosional features, and carvings. The largest number of "man tracks" are forms of elongate, metatarsal dinosaur tracks, made by bipedal dinosaurs that sometimes impressed their metatarsi (heels and soles) as they walked. When the digit impressions of such tracks are subdued by mud-backflow or secondary infilling, a somewhat human shape often results. Other alleged "man tracks" including purely erosional features (often selectively highlighted to encourage human shapes), indistinct marks of undertain origin, and a smaller number of doctored and carved tracks (most of the latter occurring on loose blocks of rock).

Even popular creation sources site these as dinosaur tracks!

Those Mysterious Glen Rose "Man Tracks"

Before you throw another "proof" of a young Earth, can you at least do one of two things? Defend your original claim, or admit your claim was wrong? Often, when I respond to people, they abandon old arguments and try to throw new arguments at me - which shows they often ignore all points in which they're proven wrong.

Heh I have seen these supposed tracks before and also the more rational explanation you gave in the quote (I agree with this explanation personally, but I in truth haven't seen the tracks for myself or even heard of them until I came on this website lol.)

Then again, even if good old Dawkins is wrong and they are human tracks I still wouldn't believe they are from millions of years past lol. Heck we have Terrible Lizards (meaning of Dinosaur) being talked about, not humorously, but in historic context even well into the AD. Lol, who is to say dinosaurs trully died out millions of years ago and not progressively throughout human history by acts of man and acts of God?

Your photo is from Glen Rose, Texas....and represents two separate sets of dino tracks....NOT one human and one dino.
Here are some better pictures from that same site. Notice that in the first picture the human track was made first and the dino track made later and superimposed over part of the human track.
