So be it. Yet again, it matters not what we prefer, but rather, what is true.
Quite the contrary. I once thought the same thing. "I'm not religious, I'm such a free thinking open minded person." I was more enslaved than I could ever imagine. The same is true for you.
Well if what is "true" is too oppressive then it should be fought against! not accepted.

Actually you seem more enslaved right now seeing as how you are so willing to accept "truth" that should not be accepted.

Oppressive according to who?

Rules and laws on the surface appear to be systems of slavery. In reality, they bring freedom.

Ephesians 4:22
You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old
self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;

You believe it should not be accepted because it cramps your style. (figuratively speaking of course)

Necessary rules bring freedom. not unnecessary ones.

and many rules, both of man and god, are unnecessary if you look at it logically.

and there is nothing wrong with my "style" so why cramp it? lol

it's not like i wanna go around wreaking havoc -.-

I suppose you get to decide which are necessary, huh?

Yes indeed. Many of the unnecessary rules bring freedom though. I will explain later, but I need to study some more, and take care of some natural things.

Rebellion against God is wrong, it's not something to be proud of.

it's not like i wanna go around wreaking havoc -.-
You wreak havoc against the Moral Law.

It is usually obvious which are neccesary. No murder, rape, stealing expensive items, or extreme abuse. that's really all the neccesary ones.

unnecessary rules bring freedom?? not allowed to rebel? Communists would like you lol

and what have i done that is so morally offensive? i mean saying i have wreaked havoc against moral law sounds pretty extreme...

Dark, how do you know murder, rape, stealing, abuse etc. are wrong? What determines this? What are you measuring these 'do-nots' against? Just curious.

Does logic have to be "derived" from somewhere?

or is it simply something you have or you don't?

that's the question.

I believe in the supernatural. some might not consider that "logical" but i do to a certain extent...

but not even science is always logical.

Sending people to a horrible hell for simply not "accepting" him as their god.

i can understand if they have done a brutal crime. but most people have not.

mayb they dont "choose" heaven but they dont deserve hell either.

(and of course you can't treat beings with feelings any way you want for any reason watsoever)

If you think that God is so unfair in whom He chooses to send to hell, then by whose standard should this be decided?

maybe humans and god could collaborate and work together to devise a more fair standard?

if god was reasonable...of course many humans are not reasonable either...
