You are a sinner as well.

1 John 1:8.
They do not like to be told they are just as guilty, SO they have to water down the law to make themselves acceptable.. Then judge us to make themselves feel better..

try not to let them get to you brother..

It can be a way of trying to intimidate anyone who posts those, because that tactic comes up and their words are to trump Jesus Christs in those ones. The effectual grace of God does not allow sin to have dominion over us.
Sins dominion over us is death. We still die in the flesh. We live eternally in Christ through the Holy Spirit.

If we could achieve sinlessness we would not die in the flesh.

Let the heathen rage against the Lord and His Holy One. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, because it has the power to save those who truly believe it. :)

For all those self righteous folks who think they never sin, or depend on their "repentance" if they do sin, I have some scripture for you to carefully consider.

[h=1]1 Corinthians 2:14[/h] [SUP]14 [/SUP]But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

[h=1]1 John 1:8-9[/h] [SUP]8 [/SUP]If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

[h=1]1 John 2:2[/h] [SUP]2 [/SUP]And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

The bible teaches that God sent His Son to die as a sacrifice for our sins. His Word says unless you receive His grace as a gift, you're not saved. I hope you're paying attention, because it sounds like several have not accepted this as a gift, but are trying to earn it themselves. Please read Romans 5!

Amen..do not be ashamed of the gospel of Christ that it is His righteousness that makes us righteous and not our own works of righteousness.

The righteous shall live by faith in the finished work of Christ only!

Romans 1:16-17 (NASB)
[SUP]16 [/SUP] For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

[SUP]17 [/SUP] For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH."

Exodus 32:6 KJV And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

Exodus 32:30-35 KJV
And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the LORD; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin. 31 And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold. 32 Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written. 33 And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book. 34 Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them. 35 And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.

When the people of God turned away from God, God said He would blot them out of His book. These are the same people who had trusted Him and praised Him and been delivered from Egypt by Him.

Exodus 39:42-43 KJV According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work. 43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

Num 1:54 And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

These same sons of Israel who obeyed the Lord’s commandments in the construction of the tabernacle are the same sons who perished in the wilderness because of their unbelief. Even though they had known God and walked in obedience they still failed to enter the Promised Land.

Numbers 9:15-23 KJV And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, namely, the tent of the testimony: and at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning. 16 So it was alway: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night. 17 And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents. 18 At the commandment of the LORD the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they pitched: as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents. 19 And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the LORD, and journeyed not. 20 And so it was, when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the LORD they abode in their tents, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed. 21 And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed. 22 Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed. 23 At the commandment of the LORD they rested in the tents, and at the commandment of the LORD they journeyed: they kept the charge of the LORD, at the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

These same Israelites who obeyed God by following the cloud are the same people who perished in the wilderness.

Numbers 14:1-12 KJV And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night. 2 And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness! 3 And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt? 4 And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt. 5 Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel. 6 And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes: 7 And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land. 8 If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey. 9 Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not. 10 But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel. 11 And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them? 12 I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they.

Because of their unbelief, God said He would disinherit, and smite with pestilence the very people whom He delivered from Eqypt, the people who had served Him and obeyed Him in building the tabernacle, the people whom the Spirit of God had gifted and rested upon.

Deuteronomy 4:9 KJV Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;

1 Corinthians 10:1-12 KJV
1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. 5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. 6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. 8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. 9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. 10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. 11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. 12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

how is it, that those who refute imputed righteousness, almost ALWAYS get their ammunition from the OT?

and then string it in with some (taken out of context) NT scriptures

seriously, you are falsely accusing

here we go again...the same ole FALSE teaching that if you believe in salvation by faith...as even Abraham's faith was imputed to him...you somehow think you can sin your eyebrows off and it's all good

you can't make this stuff up

it's nonsense...it's false and yet it is presented time and again

it's a tactic that has become very familiar over the last year or so

and then they apply OT scriptures that have NOTHING to do with the topic and somehow confuse the raging of the unconverted with believers

why do the heathen rage?

first of all, kindly identify those who you refer to as heathen...if you are calling those who disagree with your misrepresentation heathen, you really need to....and here I will use the word the way they understand it...repent

Sometimes people can post scriptures in a "string" that makes it say what they want - to show that if someone sins - they are not following Jesus. What they really mean is - they don't believe Jesus can save us so we have to help Him out with our own works.

I can do the same thing too and prove that if anyone has ever sinned they are blotted out of the book. I can post a "string" of scriptures proving that anyone who has ever sinned will not go to heaven. I can do this from the Old Testament to the New Testament and end up with Revelation - all from the word of God.

Of course all of these scriptures are not taking into account the finished work of Christ on the cross and in His resurrection. But it is still scripture albeit all taken out of context and not filtered with the New Covenant truths applied to them.

well take heed then lest you fall

there is therfore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus

see, what you folks seem to believe, is that salvation is a revolving door..in and out and whoops I forgot to mention a sin...better get back in or I will go to hell

that is not salvation

I have yet to see ONE single encouraging post from you works people...just ONE...it's always you are going to hell, you need to repent, you are not saved, you are not listening to me I have all truth

just one single encouraging or loving post indicating that salvation is something the angels celebrate in heaven when even one person comes to Christ

no...you all take that one person and shove their head into their own sins and tell them to repent

may God have mercy...truly...cause false teachers abound and lack love and deliver judgement rather than mercy

and finally, repeatedly saying that we say it is ok to sin despite the fact no one has ever ever said that

so, it seems y'all might be stuck on the idea of eternal sin rather than eternal salvation
