Is the false teaching of pre-tribulation rapture, getting the power of "him" out of the way, who restrains the antichrist?

According to those verse it happen after man of sin or antichrist in power.
Yes, the man of sin has to be revealed or we won’t be gathered to him. But my point is that each believer is gathered to Jesus when we die.

28Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. 31In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. 32Remember Lot's wife. 33Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. 34I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 36Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 37And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

If they are on the house top and not to go back inside for something and not look back then they are taken to meet the Lord in the air like birds circle when there is a body. The one on the roof top does not get left to eventually be able to just go back in his house for his stuff. Who are these that are Going somewhere that they are not to "turn back" ? Where are they being taken? To be gathered from all corners and be gathered to the lord
Hi Scribe!

The warning to those who are on the house top and those in the field, is not in reference to the gathering of the church/rapture. But is in reference to when the abomination is set up which takes place in the middle of the seven years, as shown in Matt.24:15-22, where they are to flee out into the wilderness. In other words, when they see the abomination set up in the holy place, don't go back to get anything out of your house, just get out of the area immediately! This is the desolation (emptying) of Jerusalem and Judea that will be caused by that abomination being set up.

This event of Israel fleeing out to the wilderness, is also mentioned in Revelation 12:6 & 14. The woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and wearing a crown of twelve stars, is symbolically representing the nation Israel. After she gives birth to the Male Child, she flees out into the wilderness where she is taken care of by God for 1260 days, which is that last 3 1/2 years of that seven year period. The abomination isn't mentioned here by name, but the dragon/Satan, spews a flood out of his mouth, which is symbolic for an army to overtake the woman. But the she is given two wings of a great eagle where she flies out into the wilderness where she will be cared for 1260 days, until the Lord returns to the earth to end the age.

Therefore, the fleeing takes place as a result of the abomination being set up, which takes place in the middle of the seven years.

"He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him."

"So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination of desolation, described by the prophet Daniel (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let no one on the housetop come down to retrieve anything from his house. And let no one in the field return for his cloak.

The 'one taken and one left' event, takes place right when Christ returns to the earth to end the age. The abomination being set up and their fleeing, takes place 3 1/2 years earlier.

I stopped going to church many years ago after I began to read the Bible for myself and figured out that everything I was taught was wrong. The Lord has taught me through the word from that time on. I just read the Bible and believe exactly what it says as it’s written. That’s the only way to come to the truth.
This is what I am afraid of. What was the last church you went to?

I wandered through different churches and beliefs from Roman Catholic to atheist to Presybyterian USA to a community church affiliated to the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). I was saved while attending the last and I learned much from some of the pastors and people. I have a mentor of sorts and fellowship with a small group of guys. The reformed theology is present but it is of a more moderate calvinism. There are no creeds or doctinal statements, at least that I am aware of. there is the SBC's "Baptist Faith and Message" It is written softly, and loosely, and does not appear to speak for God, and is not affirmed. OVerall I do believe the Holy Spirit is present at this church. However I am aware that false teachings do exist in this church. They are everywhere. Thus far my biggest concern is the eschatology which is not pushed except on facebook and perhaps in one bible study class.

Eschatology I see is part of the armor of God. But nowhere can I find another person who also sees this.
I see Eschatology having been totally corrupted. I see the biggest threat to this Community Church and to the SBC is the presbyterians via the PCA. Presbyterians have succeeded in filling the theology schools and I see the blending and blurring of doctrines between Baptists and PResbyterians through formats such as "Thegospelcoalition"
If you don't have the Eschatology right I can see how Baptists can miss the dangers of presbyterians for example they seem to not recoginze the threat of things like Thegospelcoalition.

At this point I believe the church I go to is better than to have no church and no fellowship. I need to be very careful and not throw away something that isn't perfect but is good.

I have many friends that I fellowship and study with. I guess I could say I have a pastor because there’s an online church that I follow.

I agree on the eschatology part, most people are way out in left field.

what was the biggest prob with it?
The preacher, who I really liked, preached meaningless messages, he knew nothing about the Bible and he didn’t preach from the KJV and he was a believer that all bibles had mistakes.

Wow, that is not the case at my church. The message at my church is Christ centered and gospel centered. The preaching is pretty good actually. thanks and keep persevering.

It’s not in the Bible although there are many reference to fish in the Bible. It’s up to us to figure out what heavenly sign is the sign of the son man.

Pisces is widely known as the astrological age of Christ and Christianity even in non-Christian circles.
To me sign on the sky is jesus appear on the sky

Why do you think Jesus would tell the high priest that he would see Jesus coming in the clouds of heaven?

Mat 26:64 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

The man of sin sits in the temple of God as God. The temple of God is our bodies. How does the Antichrist sit in a place where only you or God could sit?

Yes, it’s because the 2nd coming of Christ was the resurrection. Jesus came in the clouds, in all power and glory, and established the kingdom of heaven that comes without observance the day he rose from the dead.

That’s why Jesus told the disciples that he would return before they had time to preach to all the cities of Israel. The resurrection is the time when the sign of the son of man, the sun rising in Pisces, appeared in the heaven and when the age of Christ and Christianity started.

Bottom line is men have crept in unawares and duped most Christians into believing a lie. I try to help people see that they’ve been lied to, but most people unfortunately prefer the lie over the truth.
