Are you telling me that you're the reason people consider Jesus's Baptism a side-show?
I have no idea of what you mean, which is that because of me, others consider Jesus's baptism as a side-show. No clue as to what this is about.

Are you telling me that if I share the Gospel with a person on the side of Mount Everest, and that person receives Christ . . . they can't go to Heaven because we couldn't melt diddly piddly water for a swift and stupid dunking? No way.

Are you telling me that I share the Gospel with a person in the middle of the desert, where there is no water, that they can't go to Heaven because we couldn't find any piddly diddly water for a swift and stupid dunking? No way.

Our God is reasonable and rational. As said, God does not depend upon any worldly object so as to create expiation for Sin and the lifting of the Evil Sinful Nature.

Colossians 2:10 plainly teaches what it is that makes us "whole" and complete in Christ . . . and it has nothing to do with physical water. Jesus defeats Satan through His Spiritual Circumcision . . . not a bin of physical water.

God knows what is in our heart. If we physically couldn't perform water baptism then He isn't going to prevent us from entering Heaven. This thread is about the Holy Spirit entering Jesus while a man ..not us.

You are refusing to consider the importance of Jesus's Baptism by John the Baptist.
No. I'd like you to explain why it is that you think that I am the reason for people thinking that Jesus's Baptism is a side-show. That is incredibly offensive . . . so explain yourself.

You have made it your mission to say Baptism by water doesn't mean anything.

That's a colossal misjudgement of my Heart.

You know . . . your questions started out amazing. However, you're now crossing some boundaries. Why are you now throwing knives and stones?

I know you have a good Heart. But you are not taking what I'm saying in this thread seriously. The Baptism of Jesus is a Key event in order to save us.

How can it be a side show?
Only John the Baptist saw the Dove and heard the voice of God.
John, a faithful Godly man and Prophet of God asked for a sign concerning the [Coming Messiah].
This was his sign.
He's the ONLY ONE WHO SAW/HEARD what took place.
He even testifies to the account being a Sign for him in the Gospel of john.

And yet, most people don't give it a second thought. Jesus the Man as God becomes the full Holy Trinity. His ministry began. He could have been crucified from any point afterwards to save us from our sins.

But there is a kicker to your theory here.

John 14 Jesus says, what I say and what I do [IS NOT ME DOING IT.
IT'S THE FATHER WHO LIVES INSIDE ME DOING IT]!

So Jesus was already full because the Father was always living inside Him doing the talking and miracles.

Uhhh ..when do you think the ministry started? Was it after his Baptism?
