I think Israelis should be look closer to Arabs than Romans. But I do not rule out the situation of the intermarriage between Israelis and Romans
My sister married an Italian. Now all my nieces and nephews have crooked noses. :sneaky::whistle:

I do not understand the following, so I posted it here hoping to be enlightened
King James Bible
And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.
(Ezek 36:17 KJV) Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their ..own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.
(Ezek 36:18 KJV) Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it.
(Ezek 36:22 KJV) Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.
(Ezek 36:24 KJV) For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,..The above occurred in 1947ad
(Ezek 36:31 KJV) Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
(Ezek 36:32 KJV) Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.

King James Bible
Ezekiel 21:32
Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.

I believe that this is a prophecy about Israel yet unfulfilled. As you say, Israel has regained its statehood, but I believe that there will be a future revival in which many traditional Jews will acknowledge that Jesus shed His blood for their sins. I believe that this event is referred to as "the time of Jacobs Trouble" and will occur in the future Tribulation period spoken of in the book of Revelation. The gospel will then be proclaimed for one last time.

Revelation 11
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

1) That interpretation is the subject of debate
2) Are you calling Christians heathens?
3) Why would Joshua 41:25 not fulfil that prophesy?

Perhaps it has a double application. I believe that many prophecies work that way. Jesus calls all of us to be a separate people.

N o person, outside of those that he died for on the cross, will he cleanse by his blood.

He died once and for all. Whether they accept that is up to them. His blood is sufficient. Anything else is false teaching.[/QUOTE]

Do you have a scripture to go with your statement?

Jacob as Israel is comprised of all of God's elect that he choose (Eph 1:4). Jacob is called "the house of Israel". All of the house of Israel turned away from God in disbelief of the doctrine of Jesus, except the "remnant of the house of Israel" All of God's elect, both the house of Israel, and the remnant of the house of Israel, were those that Jesus died for, and have the security of their heavenly inheritance.(John 6:39).

Do you not know them? You seem to have a good knowledge of Scripture. Surely you know the verses, or is it that you deny them.

Are you, for some reason, afraid to quote them to reinforce your statements? Are you that unsure of what you believe?

Local Rabbi’s made a deal with the Romans. Crucify Jesus and we will stop our revolt against the Romans.
At the time Jesus was telling anyone who would listen about the Old Testament, only at that time there was no “Old Testament”, just a collection of books describing the conflict between God and His chosen ones.

Yes, many can quote it, but few can interpret it correctly.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Interpreted it for you. Even a child can understand it.

Here is a verse along those lines:

John 3
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
