I question if the New Testament was written in Greek. After all, considering that the Hebrews valorized their language (Acts 22.2), why the writer of the Hebrews' epistle would write it in Greek?
Because, for the Epistle to the Hebrews, the audience were, largely, Jews of the Diaspora (in other words they lived in parts of the Roman Empire far away from Palestine) that had largely lost their facility with Aramaic and Hebrew (this was the group who used the Septuagint which was a Greek translation of what you call the Old Testament)...

You can question what you like but the simple, historically verifiable, fact is that the New Testament was written in Greek...

Greek was the common language across the Roman empire at that time. Greek therefore would be read by more people than Hebrew. Thus more people would read it and not just the Jews. Simple enough.

We must always pray for New Jerusalem and all who are circumcised of heart, that is, all true Jews everywhere. It seems the times draw near. I may be in error, but it is written to be urgent in season and out, so I am simply doing what is taught us. Pray for the members of the Body, amen.

When we see the third temple being built the end will be very near. In Jerusalem they now know where the first and second temple were built. An excavation found an alter, a channel for the blood to flow away, a spring of running water, and other items required for a temple. It is said they are preparing the site to build the third temple.

What is that supposed to mean in this context??
Mar 13:37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

2Ti 4:1 I charge thee in the sight of God, and of Christ Jesus, who shall judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom:
2Ti 4:2 preach the word; be urgent in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

We must do our best to prepare the unprepared for what is to come.

I used to think I understood all of the end time predictions. One in particular is about seeing Jerusalem and the times of the Gentiles fulfilled etc.

In the Six Day war I thought because Israel had taken the city of Jerusalem it would be within the time of a generation. Most put ageneration at forty years. Now, I did not think it was cetain, but I did begin then watching yet 207 came along an nothing. I had not told people to be prepared in this regard then, but I do believe it is a good idea now to assure we follow these teachings. All I repeat is "Watch!" It is not mete to wait fro the first half of the greatest tribulation ever to move ourselves to warn other. there is much to occur first.

Yes there are many, perhaps most, manuscripts in K. Greek, but where did they come
from since the first believers for about a centurey were taught from the Hebrew writings,
that is the Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings,.
This is a mistake. First believers were using Greek translation of Scriptures, Septuagint. Thats why the New Testament in Greek fit so well into their thinking and thats why the NT has so many Septuagint quotes.

It is a mistake, but for JaumeJ it is just grist for his propaganda mill!

Jesus crucifixion 33 AD
Council of Jerusalem 48 AD
Epistle to the Galatians, written shortly after, between 50-60 AD.
Rest of the books of the New Testament following progressively until the last book was written, Revelation, around AD 96 since it is dated to end of Emperor Domitian who reigned between AD 81 to AD 96.

So, guess what, every book of what would later become the Canon of the New Testament was written less that 70 years after Christis crucifixion. And for better or worse it was all written in Koine Greek...

Even a propagandist can be mistaken :)

No man probably begin with an evil intention like "I will lie about this and that to propagate my ideas", but has something wrong in his data, information processing or knowledge creation.

The reason Greek was chosen was because it was the most used language of that time. Like English is today. I have traveled to many countries in the world for my work and English was understood everywhere.

True for Christians but the big lie was a NAZI method of propaganda. They understood that when the lie was big enough that people would believe it because they thought no one would make up a lie that blatant. Communists also use it.

Most Nazis and communists believed their basic ideas, too. Propaganda with intentional lies was mostly during war operations etc, but thats always so, for strategic reasons.

Both top NAZI and communists understood they were lying and used it to promote their wishes on the public. Hitler hated Jews so he used them as the scape goat for losing WW1. He knew he was lying. The Jews didn't have that power. It made the public feel better about losing the war. In actual fact Germany ran out of resources to continue the war. Their economy was in ruins due to the war.

Here are quotes of Joseph Goebbles about lying.

Propaganda works best when those who are being manipulated
are confident they are acting on their own free will.

This is the secret of propaganda: Those who are to be persuaded by it should be completely immersed in the ideas of the propaganda, without ever noticing that they are being immersed in it.

If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it, and you will even come to believe it yourself.

A lie told once remains a lie but a lie told a thousand times becomes the truth.

Think of the press as a great keyboard on which the government can play.

...the rank and file are usually much more primitive than we imagine. Propaganda must therefore always be essentially simple and repetitious.

The truth is the greatest enemy of the State.

Its nothing special for Nazis. US government, Russia, China etc are doing the same thing.

But we got into state affairs which is different from persons and propaganda in discussion.
