Thanks for sharing this valid knowledge pertinent to our Book(s).

I do not intend this to be an Hebrew study in the purest sense of the word. My studies have included what you generously shared here, unhapply or happily only God knows, most folks ae not too terribly interested in study of any foreign language.

Myself, I have studied many and when I have visited such countries as Israel, Turkey, Greece and many more, I have laways learned at least the amenities of each country's language(s).

It is important, however to actually translate some of the words from the Hebrew that have come across as names or not come across at all, and these latter need be brought up whenever possible.

The bottom line of Jesus King of the Jews, and a Jew Himsel, is simple, all who love Jesus are praisers of Yah...God to many.

It is extremely important for Christians to know that Hebrew is God's language. Each letter of Hebrew has a number meaning and a spiritual meaning. That is not true of any other language. Each person's name had a special meaning and a prophecy for that person based on the Hebrew language.

When God spoke to Paul scripture tells us God used Hebrew. Even scripture originally written in Greek were written by men whose original language was Hebrew so the Hebrew thinking shines through the Greek words.

Scripture is inspired by the Lord, but told to us through the minds of the minds of the men receiving it. That is why it is so important to learn the culture and way of thinking they lived with.

The Greek culture that language expresses is very different from the Hebrew culture that language expresses. It is a matter of life and death for us to understand God and to do that we must learn about the Hebrew language.

Where are you people coming from? What church do you attend that you got such strange ideas?

Do you even know that there were some revision of Hebrew alphabet so that masoretic letters are totally different from the ancient Hebrew etc? Moses would not be able to read masoretic text.

I belong to the Body of Christ. All members of the Body of Christ are gifted with the Fathe of Abraham, for it is that gift of faith given me and all who belive by the Father that drew me and all to Jesus christ as Lord, God and Savior.

If the recognition of our Hebrew influences tend to upset you, do not let that allow you to disturb those who know this.

My question was not "where do you belong", but "what church do you attend".

My fellowship is with all who love Jesus Christ as Savior, God and King......I do not believe in any denomination, but Ido adhere to the teaching of Jesus Christ, Yeshua.

Any who truly cleave to Jesus Christ is my family in God. Please do not press for a named denomination for mine can only be the same as was that of Jesus christ,. YOu may tak this last declaration and turn it any way you wish, but He was of no named denomination....not even that whci became known as Judaism....that takes some understanding.

My question was not "where do you belong", but "what church do you attend".

Hebrew is no more and no less God's language than Greek is....
God chose to communicate the Gospel to the world in Greek - and a common street version of Greek at that (Koine is Greek adjective that means "common") - we just happen to call it the New Testament...

This one-eyed view of God and the things of God is destructive and divisive...

You do not want to respond directly, so I will do it for you - you do not attend any local church. I suppose Blik will be on the same ship as you.

I am not a proposer of "every sunday attendance" but if you do not attend anything for lets say 15 years, you will get quite far away from general Christianity. Your ideas and opininions are not sharpened by others in community.

To deny all facts in regard to the language established by God is foolishness. Worse. Of course it has changed. It was first written in pictograph, even.

Before you get on your high intellectual horse, do look up at least SOME of what you are speaking of.

Again no response - so I suppose you are without a local church.

Are you aware of the fact that Hebrew alphabet had some serious revisions in history? Its totally different from the one used by ancient Israel.
Moses or David would not be able to read Masoretic text.

Let us try to stay on topic, it is difficult for mae at times too..God bless you.........j

Why do so many believe Jesus Christ was teacing and spreding His gospel in Greek?

It is possible He spoke in Greek, but very doubtful since had the hypocrites heard Him
teaching the Hebrew Word in Greek they would have stoned Him.

Yes there are many, perhaps most, manuscripts in K. Greek, but where did they come
from since the first believers for about a centurey were taught from the Hebrew writings,
that is the Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings,.

It would be like studying the founding fathers of the US or any given country in a foreign
tongue, say Chinese....

I believe much was destroyed by the Roman leaders due to their own anti-semetism.

It seem to me a very large persentage of people who balk at our Hebrew forfathers and history
are nothing more or less than being anti-semites.

No you do not need to read Hebrew or dress like some over zealous Rabbinically taught Jew, but at
the same time o not deny Jesus, Yeshua.

After all when it comes down to it, Jew as Judah may be translated as a praiser of God, and there cannot
be anything wrong with this.

No one is able to say with anything approaching certainty that all of the New Testament was written in Greek exclusively,
except perhaps the letters of Paul, and even that is not 100%.

If you do not like Jesus having walked the earth as a Jew, then you probably do not believe much of what He teaches.

The curches around here are RCC. I could attend, but I would be a hypocrite as are so many who blindly level charges at others not seeing or hearing.........Now my response to you has always been my case. You have no business knowing any more about me than I cleave to All that is Jesus Christ, not to any of the false denominations making up the apostasy fortold by Jesus and later by Paul.

Why don't you confess to your denomination, since I already have? No, better yet, get back on topic and stop goading the family in Christ.

I am 92 years old, will be 93 in May. I walk only with a walker, I am so deaf that I cannot hear on the phone. I ab totally blind in one eye and the other is over 50% gone. Most of my time, now, is in studying scripture. So no, I am unable to attend a church.

All right lets go to your OP:
Who are all these people that believe that Jesus Christ was teaching and spreading His gospel in Greek?
I am fascinated to know....
Personally I know no one who believes this - not even non-Christian associates.

You have done some research perhaps to back up this statement - a published journal article detailing your findings....

You are a wonderful and valliant servant of the Messiah, may YHWH bless you and keep you and shine His face upon you continually!

1. I grew up in a charismatic church
2. Then we moved to a church called "Christian assemblies" that have roots in German Die Brüderbewegung and are related to plymouth brethren or Darby.
3. Then I attended Silesian Lutheran Church and Czech Brethren Church.
4. Now I am without a local church, too, but my priorities in faith are still in some kind of concordance with others.

Trofimus, JaumeJ is living in Spain - finding anything other than an RCC congregation could be difficult....
I live in the Czech republic... there are like 2% of protestants, 5% of catholics and rest is without any religion...

In a 100,000 inhabitants city, there are like 3 or 4 small protestant churches (dozens of people) and if you do not fit or are not satisfied with their teachings, you have nowhere to go.

Where I live, Australia, about 70% claim some Christian affiliation but only 1% actually attend any church with any regularity at all...

VERY different from where I grew up in South Africa where 40% of the population was in church on any given Sunday...

You are blessed with a long life. Please, revise your priorities. Hebrew language is not what is "extremely important for Christians to know".

Whole the New Testament is written in Greek and even to know Greek is not extremely important. Only our faith in His forgiveness, our good deeds and inner transformation to be a better being.

And still, life in Australia is so much more peaceful and safer than in SA....
