What 10? The ten were given to Moses 400 and some odd year later.

Abraham was not found by works, he was found by faith, as paul said, if he was found by works he would have something to boast about.

You people trying to earn your salvation because you think you are righteous have to learn what true righteousness is. You evidently do not, because if you think you are righteous (enough to be saved), you would be in serious error..

Only one man met that requirement, and that was Christ. Thats why he took our death, We were already too guilty to ever be good enough to take it ourself!
You keep telling uis we are saved.. Either stop it, or I will report you!

We shall all be divided into 2 distinct groups:

Those who keep the Commandments of God & Those who do not!

"It is time for you to act, O Lord, For they have regarded your law as void."

"Therefore I love your commandments more than gold, yes, fine gold."

(Psalms 119:126,127)
There are two groups. You are correct.

Those who keep Gods commands good enough to earn salvation has one member, his name is Christ.

the rest of mankind falls under the other category. Thats why Christ came and died for us. Why do you want to continue to mock the death of Christ??

Who in his right mind that follows Yeshua pretends to think he is able to do anything to save himself?

Do you not believe we, in wonder and gratitude, after receiving the Holy Spirit should not do our best to obey the commandments of Yahweh?

You do know there is a great difference between the commandments of our Father and the myriad of laws contained in the law?

You do know Yeshua teaches us to obey the commandments.
If we should falter, grace is fresh for us every morning. If arguing the teaching of the Messiah is what you desire, you will never have time to enjoy His grace and salvation.

Judge not, and you will not be judged for with the judgment you mete out you will be judged. It is a great relief to understand this teaching.

May God bless you and take any burden you may still be weighed down with off of your shoulders, amen........

why do you stick on this one? we should keep them all. (and there is way more than 10!)

thats not the issue, The issue is we can;t keep it good enough to ever save ourselves, or earn salvation. Thus salvation can never be dependant on how well we do it. because no matter how good we think we are. we would still be undeserving..

It's not to say we are saved by our works...But we do need to be obedient to God and His commands not that those works will save you, however we will be judged by them too
Proverbs 13:13 Whoever despises the word brings destruction on himself, but he who reveres the commandment will be rewarded.
Psalms 1:1-2 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
Luke 11:28 But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” (Jesus speaking)
Ephesians 5:6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

Theres just a few scriptures...Do ya'll agree with once saved always saved...I don't believe that. We have to have obedience to Christ

Hebrews 6:4-6

King James Version (KJV)

4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Say someone accepts Jesus, repents, bears fruit but then for whatever reasons goes back to being what they were before and engaging in sin, (isn't that being disobedient?) is that person still saved or are they condemned becasue they are now lieing, committing murder, adultary ect.... and not repenting

For weeks you have been told we keep the Commandments because we Love Jesus. For some reason,, you think we keep the Commandments in spite of Jesus. Even though you have been told different, over and over and over. You are stuck! You have decided that none of us are saved, and that YOU have been commisioned to save us yourself.

You look very foolish to me as I read your posts. I sat here today, and studied your posts not only from to day, but past posts. your mind is made up,,you are saved, but not us,,, cause you believe we are bypassing Jesus, working our way to heaven. You are ignorant to entertain such thoughts. Yet that seems to be the only thought that bounces around in your mind. You need to worry about your own Salvation and those in your own home. Not us strangers. God is able to feed us without your supervision.

I'm sorry you feel as if we bypass Jesus and seek salvation by our own merits and our own works. But,, it's obvious that you do feel that way, as you have conveyed that message to me time after time.

You are wrong about us,, but,,, if you think you are right, consider this:

We have Bibles. We can read. We have heard of Jesus. If the Holy Spirit can't get us to see that you are right and we are wrong,, how is it that YOU are going to bypass the Holy Spirit and teach us? Do you not see that we won't hear you? Do you not see that we are blinded( as you believe)...

If you desire us to come and believe as you do.. Pray about it. Leave us to God and the Holy Spirit. You are failing by your method of teaching,, cause we are not hearing you.
Nor will we ever! For we love Jesus and because we love Him, we shall obey Him and keep all His Commandments.. Have nice day,, I'm not going to report on anybody for anything. I've just had it with your false teachings.

lol.. You like attacking people don't you?

Nothing in that post said anything about your salvation. As usual though, You do not wish to answer questions.. So I will just continue to expose.

1. I do keep Gods commands.
2. I am saved eternally by his blood.

You just can;t see it, because your focused on how good you are. and not how gracious God is. If you don't like people exposes that fact to you. Well I can't help you

Jesus being OUR Lord should effect our lives. Faith without works isn't bearing fruit.
John 8:31-32 **** To be a follower of Christ we must learn His will and obey it. If we know and abide in Jesus's word it will make us free. * To be free from sin we must obey Jesus from the heart (Romans 6:16-18)
We need to believe in our Master and God rewards obedient faith. (Hebrews 10:39, 11:6-8,30. Gal 5:6, James 2:14-26, John 12:42-43)
We do NOT respect the Lord if we don't
obey Him. *** Luke 6:46

We purify our souls in
obeying truth (1 Peter 1:22-25).....follow steps to be forgiven and CONTINUALY serve Christ in this life (Acts10:34-35, James 1:21-25, Matt 7:21-27, Romans 25-11)

Go right ahead. I am stating a fact, Your gospel of works will not save anyone.. Take it as you wish!
EG I bet you make the claim that you are already saved

1PETER1
[4] To AN INHERITANCE INCORRUPTIBLE, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
[5] Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto SALVATION READY TO BE REVEALED IN THE LAST TIME.
[9] Receiving the END OF YOUR FAITH, EVEN THE SALVATION OF YOUR SOULS.[10] Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
[13] Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and HOPE TO THE END FOR THE GRACE THAT IS TO BE BROUGHT UNTO YOU AT THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST;
[23] BEING BORN AGAIN, NOT OF CORRUPTIBLE SEED, BUT OF INCORRUPTIBLE, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Salvation revealed in the last time
End of your faith....salvation
Hope to the end...grace brought unto you at the revelation of Christ

ROMANS 8 [24] For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?[25] But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

So EG, you claim your already saved so I guess you need not wait patiently for the hope uhhh...that you already see

PSALM 119 [165] Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.[166] LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments.[167] My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.

Salvation! Hope! 10 commandments!

Sorry bout that EG

Now anyone who is following the posts sees who is being subtle and sneaky.

If you were abiding in Christ as you claim, you would heed His teaching on the commandments.

If you were truthful you would not continually confuse the commandments of the Father with the litany of ceremonial laws, statutes and ordinances. This is what I call being coy. You are playing coy and coming back on my truthful post twisting any of the meaning contained.

I have posted that I am not under the law, but you choose to distort obeying the Father's commandments to be under the law..
Do you just not know the answers to the questions? Are you afraid of the faith that is in Christ? Should I ask them one at a time?

Before you come back with your usual ignorance about teaching "disobedience" by not being under the law, is there any disobedience in abiding in Christ? BY somehow not looking to the law, but looking to Christ instead, can that cause disobedience? By not beholding sin, but beholding Christ, will we somehow be off our guard and forget to ask for forgiveness of something? Will we be in any danger by Abiding in Christ and not looking to the law to examine ourselves or increase our "wisdom"? Can Christ do in you greater things than you can by the law?

We shall all be divided into 2 distinct groups:

Those who keep the Commandments of God & Those who do not!

"It is time for you to act, O Lord, For they have regarded your law as void."

"Therefore I love your commandments more than gold, yes, fine gold."

(Psalms 119:126,127)
Well I agree about the two distinct groups...

John 3:16-17
[SUP]16 [/SUP]For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.[SUP]17 [/SUP]For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

The two distinct groups will be those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and those who don't.

Its interesting how workers of the law always bring up that verse faith without works is dead. Your work says you believe in the commandments.

I think that faith in the Lord Jesus is worked out by not looking back at the commandments. My faith is in the Lord Jesus and not my ability at keeping commandments. The Lord Jesus even says in His Word that when we are weak He is Strong.

Galatians 3:6-10

[SUP]6 [/SUP]Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Are you starting to see the difference between faith in the Lord Jesus and trying to keep commandments by your own will and strength?

Galatians 3:11-14

[SUP]11 [/SUP]But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
[SUP]14 [/SUP]That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. The only honest question we should have at this point is "will having faith in the Lord Jesus Christ cause me to not be a commandment keeper"?

Which those questions I asked and you did not answer. You just attempted to get back on your merry-go-round of obeying commandments by your own will and power...

No one here has ever said we are to keep God's commands on our own strength. Are all the texts I quoted from the NT in the OP wrong that tell us to keep the commandments of God?

How we keep God's commandments is important. We should NEVER obey God's commandments FOR salvation because that would be legalism and not grace based salvation. Salvation is free by grace through faith. So these commandments show that the person is saved and FREE in Christ to OBEY. Just as under the law means being mastered by sin so as being under grace means you have the POWER to obey God.

We should obey God's commandments because those are the works that are prepared in advance for us to do. We should obey God's commandments because that is what it means when you "put on Christ" and put off the old self.

We should obey God's commandments in the sense of our heart as turned to God and His law is written on our hearts and minds. If you wish to receive detail about what is written on your heart and mind seek God's commandments, wisdom, and understanding because through that you can truly be living the abundant life.

Proverbs 2, psalms 19:7

When we obey God through faith we aren't doing it by our own strength.

If we didn't receive grace then the person would still be under the law, mastered by sin. Romans 6

We should obey God through the POWER of God's grace given to us! If you don't use that power to obey God what good does it do?

As Paul said do we then nullify the law by faith? Absolutely NOT! we establish the law!

For without the law converting our mind and soul about what is good and pleasing and perfect how will we be able to approve and figure out what is God's will concerning a specific situation?

Obey God's commandments for they not are grievous. If they are grievous to you then you need to surrender before God and accept His will for your life. Carry your cross.

1 john 3 is a passage that talks about one who is born again.
