There is a lesson that no one is getting. I just sent the judgement back as it was sent to me. I have not come here to direct any evil from my heart to anyone. I have come in spirit to pronounce the love that is God.

I guess the spirit that is of God in all of us is lacking by your law. I am here because of that spirit.

Maxwell is your God?
No, he was a physicist. God is the creator, Maxwell described certain aspects of the creation.

Science:

This new information as of December 2013, it's basic science which supports the Biblical worldview. The brains are literally structured differently between men and women.

There again not by your understanding but the understanding of man you build your relationship with God. Then you judge my relationship with God from a relationship you found through another man....do not even care what is truthful but that I am hated.

That sounds karmic.

That sounds pretty good as long we're clear that Jesus Christ is God.

Simon Peter walked on water and he told us!

2 Peter 1:1 Simon Peter, a bond-servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours, by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:

We are not in a covenant. I do not serve any man.

AAAANd, you're wrong.

Praus found Christ at the bottom of a bottle. I found Him at the end of a nudie mag.

Not everyone here is some blind sheep that listens to the teachings of man. Christians get drawn in and smacked around by the Holy Spirit. Molded into something useful. Tried in fire so that we might be purified. God reproaches those whom He loves.

1 Peter 1:7
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ

Hebrews 12:6
For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

I often disagree with how you understand God's message and tell you so, but at the same time I learn from you, too. To think you are hated is so hurtful a thought, and so untrue.

Annd no....the Holy Spirit does not administer judgment upon man. Nice try. You are tried in fire long before you even fathom the meaning of the spirit. The end of perdition is indicated by some hint of spirit. It's different for all. I'll not tell you were trial by fire is rendered because it's obvious that that is not yet upon you my brother.

If the Holy Spirit does not convict us, then we ought to be worried.

Jesus Christ does that Himself.

Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward [is] with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

We understand "hint of spirit" very well. The question then, jag1977, is about Jesus Christ.

1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Yeah the comforter is not the spirit. It is exactly what I just understood and said to you. There is no spirit until you are tried by fire. John is telling you to go and get that which you need prior to the teachings of christ. This is for someone who tries to be saved straight away just because they have decided to be saved. You must first hate your native land then seek the comforter.

Rev 22 is also talking about the same person....the comforter.

Agreed. I mentioned one time to my pastor how I had been convicted by the Holy Spirit about something I had done. He said that the Holy Spirit will NEVER, EVER convict a believer of anything.

"Really?"...says I.

He said that he had never experienced by the Spirit for anything he has ever said or did?

As far as he is concerned only a non-believer can be convicted of sin.

That's deeply disturbing.

I think we confuse love with acceptance sometimes. God loves us but does not accept sinful behavior. That's part of the reason He gave us the Holy Spirit to begin with - to help us grow in Him.

Well they are not found in the corrupt Siniaiticus and Vaticanus Greek texts.

And I strongly doubt that the translators behind these modern Vatican versions are intellecutally honest. These Alexandrians have been caught lying so many times, they would put the pope and a politician out of business.

Each translation is done by a different group of people, and different organizations put them out. By putting the verses in footnotes and explaining why they do it (or putting them in brackets in the regular text with a footnote as to why it is bracketed) is showing that they care. They aren't just leaving off the verses. They are letting us know that some later manuscripts have it in, but that the oldest ones do not include it.

Arwen, I am already aware that while there are similarities between the NWT and the modern translations, that on the other hand, there are also obvious and blatant differences between the NWT and the other modern translations.

The modern translations such as the NIV, ESV, NASB, etc. also attack Jesus' deity.
At this point, I think I'm about done with this thread. I've tried to show that modern translations do proclaim Jesus' deity, and go out of their way to make sure that people know, specifically with the NASB. At the same time, the translators wanted to be scholarly honest, and that is why they made some of the verses into footnotes or bracketed them.
