Have anyone been to a church where they actually built up the people with spiritual teachings?and if so,are you willing to share what you learned?

When the Lord told me to stand in a vision I thought going to church would be a good place to start. But I quickly found out that the pastor taught false doctrine when I told him that I've been praying for satanists that I know who are within the same church.
He then tried to discourage me into not praying for them and that I should be afraid of doing so.

Then he give me the scripture from Acts 19:13-16 as 'proof'
But I knew he was twisting those verses up.
Why should I be afraid and glorify darkness? isn't it the other way around?
That was the last time I went to church, but I still pray for that pastor and his wife.
One bad experence with one pastor and one church so you decide to abandond God's plan and not do what the Scripture clearly teaches us to do.
How is that working out for you?

Thats the only experience that I'm willing to share about the churches.
I didn't abandon Gods plan that he has for me.My walk may not be perfect, but things are alot better now then when I didn't have God in my life.

Show me theses verses please.

Sounds to me like you've never been to a true church. A church where genuine blood bought believers gather to worship the Lord and encourage each other in the faith.

Those verses say nothing about being apart of a local church dimonation which I assume you speak of.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. [SUP]24 [/SUP]Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. [SUP]25 [/SUP]And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
I believe this scripture is pretty clear in its exhortation to gather together as believers. Doesn't mean you have to attend the local Baptist church, but you should look for a body of believers that is doing their best to follow the Word...
Jesus did not intend for there to be any "lone wolf" Christians. Too many scriptures describe how we are all members of a body, with different roles, or purposes.. and how, if you remove a part of the body, it ceases to function properly.
Please read the Word with an open mind, and don't try to make it justify what you WANT to do... the body NEEDS you.

Lol I'm no expert but I think he means the body of Christ.
What you or I think often leads to misunderstanding. That is why our Lord established local churches where we study and learn together.
It is imposible for all of God's children to assemble together in this lifetime, but we can in local churches.
It is very clear that we are to do that as often as we can.

I know to be with the body, but a dimonation church is not something I could relate to.

Why? Is it because they do not agree with what you "think" is right.
Have you spent much time studying with others or do you just trust in what you "think" the Scripture teaches?

Ok I honestly don't know this but in Ezekiel 10 the Glory departs from the temple.Does the glory return?
Show me in NT scripture that the Lord supports the local churches.

Why would God have Paul establish many local churches in the Roman Empire and then wright letters to those local churches it they were not important to Him and His plan?
Paul gave up all for this single purpose. Was he doing God's will or wasting his time?

In nearly forty years of experience I have received biblical truth from men of God that have served the Lord as pastors, missionaries, and evangelists. I have been taught many things and still have many to learn.

I know that I am the Lords and He is mine. I know He will never forsake me but will supply my needs everyday.

All's I'm going to say is that people are already conditioned to kill the two witnesses and celebrate because they will think they will be doing God a favor.

Every time that I see this discussion it reminds me of an old Kingsmen song.

"Excuses"
Excuses, excuses, you'll hear them every day.
And the Devil he'll supply them, if the church you stay away.
When people come to know the Lord, the Devil always loses
So to keep them folks away from church, he offers them excuses.
In the summer it's too hot. And, in the winter, it's too cold.
In the spring time when the weather's just right, you find some place else to go.
Well, it's up to the mountains or down to the beach or to visit some old friend.
Or, to just stay home and kinda relax and hope that some of the kin folks will start
dropping in.
Well, the church benches are too hard. And, that choir sings way too loud.
Boy, you know how nervous you get when you're sitting in a great big crowd.
The doctor told you, "Now, you better watch them crowds. They'll set you back."
But, you go to that old ball game because you say "it helps you to relax."
Well, a headache Sunday morning and a backache Sunday night.
But by work time Monday morning, you're feeling quite alright.
While one of the children has a cold, "Pneumonia, do you suppose?"
Why the whole family had to stay home, just to blow that poor kid's nose.
Excuses, excuses, you'll hear them every day.
And the Devil he'll supply them if the church you stay away.
When people come to know the Lord, the Devil always loses
So to keep them folks away from church, he offers them excuses.
Well, the preacher he's too young. And, maybe he's too old.
The sermons they're not hard enough. And, maybe they're too bold.
His voice is much too quiet-like. Sometimes he gets too loud.
He needs to have more dignity. Or, else he's way too proud.
Well, the sermons they're too long. And, maybe they're too short.
He ought to preach the word with dignity instead of "stomp and snort."
Well, that preacher we've got must be "the world's most stuck up man."
Well, one of the lady's told me the other day, "Well, he didn't even shake my hand."
Excuses, excuses, you'll hear them every day.
And the Devil he'll supply them if the church you stay away.
When people come to know the Lord, the Devil always loses
So to keep them folks away from church, he offers them excuses.

That is the anti-christ and those who follow him, not true Christians.
Will you prayfully consider what I have presented to you?

You are just reaching to justify yourself now.
Read all of Paul's letters.
Read what the Scripture says with an open mind and not trying to prove what you think to be true.
