All those in Christ are chosen. Individuals are also chosen for service . All those in christ are chosen for service also. Israel were chosen for salvation? no for a purpose .
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God, ( 1 Peter 1:1-2$.

Foreknown, predestinated, justified, glorified. ( Romans 8:2829). Not justified, foreknown, predestinated, glorified).

Matthew 7:23

“And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you : depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

Gal 4
8¶Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.

9But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God , how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
knowledge is not the same as foreknowledge.

You associate predestination with ' to salvation ' where as the bible says to be conformed / Adoption / redemption of the body . God can actually declare that anyone who is placed in him they will be glorified.
So glorification/adoption is not salvation?

Huh?!!

It might be easier if you start a thread on ' election ' and 'predestination ' .
It takes two to tango. You can stop anytime. For one, you have misstated my beliefs a lot of times, so I feel I need to answer when you do that.

You have been a willing participant in this.

You go from general to specific when suits. It specifically says predestined to the adoption / conformed..Last time you checked were you glorified?

glorification is an aspect of salvation. And nowhere in the scripture do you find predestination after conversion. That’s your made up idea.

Glorification is God completing the work He began in us. He foreknew that He would glorify us precisely when He knew He would regenerate us, and every other part of salvation...He always knew

As your not adopted nor conformed clearly WHAT we are predestined to is yet future . There is no verse that says ' predestined in eternity past to be converted ' . I'd rather stick to the Scriptures and understand that only those in Jesus are predestined to future glorification. Rather than imagine in God's mind people are predestined to be saved or dammed.
psalms 25
7Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.

8Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

OK ' Elect according to the foreknowledge of God, ' Are you saying these that Peter is addressing were chosen according to foreknowledge ' .
OK in what way ,from the text and context Peter is speaking to?

Tell me, when did the Holy Spirit sanctify you? When did you obey God and trust “the blood of Jesus Christ” to cleanse you from your sin?

I thought you said you weren’t an open theist. When did God find out He was going to regenerate you? Are you saying He did not know until you believed? That would be open theism.

Believers. It matters not that they were Jewish. There is not one gospel to Jews and a different one to Gentiles. There is one gospel for all.

You are confusing predestination with election. Elect is who God chose. Predestinate is what gods has chosen for believers. Two different things.

Your avoiding the question by a boogeyman tactic . Could you show me a verse please without going to a scare tactic ?
