The rise of technology and globalism coinciding with the fall of morals and Christianity also has me vigilant to the mark of the beast, but isn't there a very important and directly stated scripture we must remember to keep in context?
Revelation 20:4(KJV)
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
We walk by faith and not by sight. Walking by sight after a sign is what the unbelieving performed before they would think they were trusting God. The last sign was given as the sign of Jonas. Christ informed those who did seek after sign it is an evil generation (natural man) that does seek after them(Matthew 12:39) .Believers are to walk by faith the unseen eternal , not by sight as that seen the temporal
Revelation is filled with highly symbolic prophecy. That parable has nothing to do with technology.
First a person cannot see a disembodied soul and Christ is His bride’s, spiritual head. Under the alter, is at the feet of Christ. Feet are used to express the gospel of our salvation.
Makes me wonder that when he does come will he find faith or men walking by sight after some work they could perform outwardly .
