and there is no such thing as a sinless believer.................
there is such a thing as a pure, redeemed, holy righteous believer walking with Christ.

It strikes me you live in unbelief about this, and constantly doubt God can deliver this
in your heart and life. Maybe you need a real gift of faith and to see what it meant for
Christ to die upon that cross and the real power to change lives that flows from this.

God said that Zacharias and Elizabeth were righteous, blameless, and keeping ALL the commandments...How do you suppose that could be?

All believers that have Christ is in them are righteous because it is based on Christ's righteousness only. Not everyone is walking in all that is in us in our new creation in Christ that has been created in righteousness and holiness.

Not everyone is manifesting the godliness outwardly that is ours in the new creation in Christ but as we get our minds renewed to the truth that is in Christ - including those that live homosexual lifestyles to those that live by their own self-righteousness.

Only the gospel of the grace of God in Christ has the power to effect real changes in us to reflect outwardly in our behavior the true life and character of our true identity that is in Christ.

The more I see Christ and what He has done - and the more I agree with His work - the more He becomes manifested in my life and the things of the flesh just have fallen off like dead leaves on a branch.

Transformation is really the emerging new man that is in Christ being manifested in our bodies while we are here on this earth.

This transformation of what already is in us in Christ in our new creation ( It is not called a "new evolution" ) can be seen by man as our minds get renewed to the truth of Christ's work for us. Rom. 12:2

We are simply "being" who we already are when we "put on Christ".

The new man in Christ is like the invisible man - when he put clothes on, people could then see him. We put on Christ and people see the new man in Christ manifested and God gets glorified.

This all happens by grace through faith in what Christ has done and we participate in it with Him for it is God who is at work in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure. He will be faithful to us. Phil. 2:13

Paul talked about this. The difference between "law-keeping" for righteousness and Christ's righteousness. Two different things.

Galatians 3:21-22 (NASB)
[SUP]21 [/SUP] Is the Law then contrary to the promises of God? May it never be! For if a law had been given which was able to impart life, then righteousness would indeed have been based on law.

[SUP]22[/SUP] But the Scripture has shut up everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

Philippians 3:9 (NASB)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith,

Romans 10:4 (NASB)
[SUP]4 [/SUP] For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

o.k. so, have you kept every statue set forth in the Sermon on the Mount since conversion? have you known to do good and done so all day each and every day since conversion? if that answer is no ( hint- it is. for everyone, including you ) then you are not sinless!

Isnt the definition of faith, fidelity? loyalty? trust?

How ive understood it is; works of the law = all the ceremonial washings and religious services. faith = obedience of the heart to Christ, as described in hebrews 11 with many examples.

Correct me if im wrong

This kind of spirituality is God expected Israel to obey the law and if they failed
in one point, they were to die.

But God expected them to follow the law and be careful not to break anything.
If they did they were to repent and offer a sacrifice for the sin atonement.

Nothing has changed in the new covenant, equally we are expected to obey,
and if we discover we have failed to repent confess and accept the sacrifice Christ
gave on the cross. God never said we would not have trials and failures, he showed
us through His people we would, but if we believed in Him He would bring us through
through repentance and faith.

These guys must really hate Gods ways the way they oppose and preach so obviously
against His precepts and resolutions to cope with our frailties. The Lord differentiated
between rape and non rape, murder and accidental killing, providing cities of refuge.

These legalists have no insight or shame, no humbleness or grace, it is the letter of the
law or nothing, lawlessness with a covering of Christs righteousness so nothing we do
matters anymore. It is such a contradiction they cannot agree among themselves how
it works, let alone is it sane or just.

I agree that faith is the persuasion of what God has said on a subject. Abraham was credited as being righteous 15 years before he offered up Isaac simply because Abraham believed God when He said that through Isaac all nations will be blessed and was fully persuaded that in what God said He would do - He would - even if He had to raise Isaac from the dead.

Works of the law are the belief system where we can get righteousness or God's quality of life from what we do or don't do. This is called works-righteousness and it is all based on us.

Faith-righteousness is based entirely on faith in what Christ has already done by His finished work on the cross and resurrection and faith is how we access this grace of God freely given to us.

One thing these definers of non-biblical terms is they invent divisions were there are
none. You walk righteously or you sin.
You rely on justifying yourself before God or you have faith in Christ for the forgiveness
of sins.
You know Christs love empowering you to love and fulfil the law or you struggle and fail.

These are biblical divides and are real spiritual reality.
But most of all, if you see Christ your Lord, dying for you on the cross, it changes you
forever. To walk deeply in this takes a lifetime, but to see it in your spirit is our lifeblood.

So the rest of g7 invention is just that, and it sins and justifies heresy all by itself
condemning good faithful people in the Lord and justifying sin and easy believism without
any problems at all. They are so blind one day dismissing all Christs words is fine, and
the next reinstating them, means nothing to them. Imagine if God did this, He would no
longer be God.

Yeah...this reeks of ignorance...and is laughable is not so ridiculous.....! How about don't engage me if your going to bloviate opinion!

DANIEL
Now while I was speaking and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God in behalf of the holy mountain of my God,

And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God;

JOHN
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

PAUL
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

For what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate. But if I do the very thing I do not want to do, I agree with the Law, confessing that the Law is good. So now, no longer am I the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me

Not to mention DAVID who speaks about his salvation.....and he Killed URIAH....

They kept it because they were regenerate, they weren't keeping it in hopes of being regenerate. IOW they were saved. Note Romans 8:8. You need to go learn the differences between prescriptive and descriptive texts of Scripture. You conflate them which is why your teachings are false.

Hebrews 11:1 - Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. These acts of obedience described in Hebrews 11 which were produced "by" or "out of" faith are works. Faith is faith and includes belief, trust, reliance and works of obedience which follow are the fruit of faith. Works of the law also includes the moral aspect of the law and not simply the ceremonial aspect.

God indeed does not change His loving character and nature. He does change His ways of dealing with man-kind. Jesus is the exact representation of the nature of the Father. If we want to see how the Father views a subject - look to Jesus.

If you want to see how God views sinners and how He deals with them now in Christ - look to Jesus while He was on this earth.

If we want to see how God deals with the self-righteousness - look to see Jesus interacting with the Pharisees.

If we want to see if the Father will look after us and wants us His children well and sound - look to see how Jesus met every need while on this earth.

If we want to see how God disciplines us - look to Jesus and how He disciplined the disciples while on this earth

Hebrews 1:1-3 (NASB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways,

[SUP]2 [/SUP] in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.

[SUP]3 [/SUP] And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Jesus is perfect theology!

Nice try but no-go. It says keeping the COMMANDMENTS, "IE" THE 10 COMMANDMENTS...I have to ask again: will this bunch ever stop arguing in favour of sin???

Come on over to the New Covenant! We are not under the law of Moses anymore.

People often say to those that speak of the grace of God and that they are not under the law of Moses anymore that they believe they are without "laws" now.

We do have laws in the New Covenant. They are exciting laws that bring life and wholeness to us all - because these are all Christ Himself in us.

Read the law to see Jesus in it and to know that Jesus did that for us and His life in us now leads us in all things. Those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God.

We now live by:

1) The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. ( Romans 8:2 )

2) The law of love ( Romans 13:10 James 2:8 )

3) The law of faith ( Romans 3:27 and the law of Moses is NOT of faith - Gal. 3:12 )

4) The law of liberty ( James 1:25 )

5) The law of Christ - which is Christ Himself in us. ( Gal. 6:2 )

We can trust the Holy Spirit in us to lead us in all affairs of life. We don't go back to the law of Moses that were a shadow of the real thing which is Christ in us.. Jesus is more then enough.

Yes...we glory in the laws that we have in the New Covenant because they are all Christ Himself living in and through us. ( Gal.2:20 and Col. 3:3 )

Get this wrong and we create a religion which really nullifies the grace of God from operating in our lives like it was meant to.

Galatians 5:22-23 (NASB)

[SUP]22 [/SUP] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

[SUP]23 [/SUP]
gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
