Your argument makes no sense as you describe it. Is it simpler to remove a commandment, presuppose that it is covered by another, (even though God Himself made sure to mention them both), and then split another commandment, leaving you with ten, which is what you started with?
Why didn't God think of that? Didn't He know that it would be difficult to make copies?
The only item in the ark of the covenant in the temple was the tablets of stone, with the Ten Commandments written on them. God considered them that important. But why shouldn't we consider our utility above what God considers important? Is that what you are saying?

THAT WOULD BE NICE, WE CAN TALK ABOUT THE WORD OF GOD, INSTEAD OF UNPRODUCTIVE WORDS, LIKE PERSONAL ATTACKS. ROCK SAID, HE WANTS TO BE FRIENDS, AND ASKED FOR PRAYER. WHY HAVN'T PRAYERS BEEN POSTED ? Jesus was the God of Isreal. He helped create the heavens and the earth. He was the God of Isreal. He was the I I AM who spoke to moses.
Mary became pregnant with flesh. and gave birth to that flesh, at which time Jesus, the God of the universe, entered that flesh and became man.
Mary did not give mother to God, Even Hebrews states Jesus had no beginning or end, he was before Mary, he was Mary's savior, God is divine, Flesh is finite. If mary gave birth to God, then she gave birth to the divinity of God. which is not so..
The mother of God is a pagan term. brought into roman religion with all the other pagan sacraments and tradition. They just changed the names to make it more Christian, but it is still the same.
ps. when we pray for someone, we do not mediate for them. we do not have the power to mediate for anyone. We pray for someone to Ask God to mediate on their behalf.
Saying we should pray to mary is discusting on all accounts.
1. It says Jesus is to busy to hear our prayers
2. It says Jesus needs help thus he is not divine enough to handle our problems
3. It places a human sinner in the same mold as God
Pagan's prayed to dead people, and ask them to intercede for us. Scripture tells us to pray to the father, through Christ. not to dead people. who are not God. and could not even here us if they tried. How can a non omniscient omnipresent being hear someone on both sides of the world at the same time, let alone hear thousands of people at the same time, when they have not even been given their glorified bodies yet?

They cannot understand anything!Old hereses has been raised,enjoy in their fruits now!Wisdom do not resides with u anymore and West lost any feeling for it.Do not blame East and persecute Orthodoxy for that,because even from East came many hereses,Church with HER WISDOM,by help of HOLY SPIRIT,won all of them and u on West with your preachers started them agaim!As Lord says,HE will be with us all the time.Feature of this is unity of all Orthodox sisters Churches,was they in Africa(Ethiopia or Egypt) or Europe(Greece,Serbia,Romania,Bulgaria,Russia...).
I would certainly be unloving if I didn't care about someone's eternal future.
I haven't judged anyone, but instead have debated ideas and issues, mostly by asking questions. You have just judged me on a personal issue, when you don't know anything about my personal life, or my relationship with Jesus Christ. You are the unloving person that you are claiming me to be by judging the person, not the ideas. Go back over my postings and find a single time when I judged either of these people, as you have just done me. I judge only their words and ideas.
Your problem is that you have bought into the modern day ministry in which people are told that if they are basically good and love one another that they will be saved. Jesus said that there is no one good, but God. Our God is a holy God, and He will judge us on our righteousness, not on how much we love one another. And we can only be righteous if we have the Spirit of Christ within us. The Spirit of Christ will produce within us a love for one another, which is the fruit of the Spirit. I love someone enough to tell them the truth. And the truth is that no unrepentent idolators will enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore it is dangerous to gloss over this issue.
Go back and study your bible. You will find that in every case where God's love is preached to sinners, (notice I said preached to sinners, not expressed), it is preached in the context of the cross. And what is the cross about. It is about a God who loved us enough to send His Son to die for us. But why? Because we have broken God's law. It is not love that saves us. It is righteousness. And we are only righteous because Jesus Christ paid for our transgressions on that cross!
Was John the Baptist unloving when he told the Pharisees that they were a bunch of snakes? Was Jesus unloving when He told Nicodemus that although he claimed to be the teacher of all Israel, yet he didn't know the very basics of what it took to enter the kingdom of heaven?
What have I said that is untruthful? Why don't you get off of your hypocritical highhorse and start judging my words, instead of judging me. If I am wrong, show me! I have no problem admitting that I am wrong.
Why don't you go study some statistics. As many as 90% of people who make decisions for Christ in today's ministries of love and God has a great plan for your life backslide within 3 years of making that decision. Many become bitter oponents of the gospel. Why? Because people aren't loving enough to tell people the truth. The truth is that God doesn't offer us a great life. He offers us ETERNAL LIFE. And sometimes sister, THE TRUTH HURTS. You better get used to it. Becasuse that's what you will hear from me, because I love people enough to tell them the truth, irregardless of what they think of me. And I don't think that Robo will ban me for that.
