People that live near the biblical place should be the one that understand the story that God reveal all this time from Adam till Jesus. why most of them are Muslim, not christian.

Hi Nighte; I think it is Important that you realize where the Muslim Faith originated. You can find this in the Bible in Genisis CH: 21

This is still a long time before CHRIST, and the Faith in the FATHER of the coming Messiah, was kept by both Jews and Muslim's

CHRIST came, and there was a Division amongst the people at that time, where some accepted CHRIST as the Messiah ( became Christians )

Others rejected Christ and remained True to their Faith in the FATHER.

Unfortunatley since then, The FATHER does not hear your prayers, unless they are directed to Him through CHRIST.

AM I saying The FATHER does not hear their Prayers at all ? NO, But as I mentioned in your other post,Christ is about Compassion.

WE are ALL sinners, and Christ made it a lot easier to repent to the FATHER when WE mess up.(IF you are sincere)

That is why the Muslim Faith is SO strict, They are following The Law of The FATHER, Without The 2 Commandment that CHRIST put over the 10.

AS long as the person is Obeying THE LAW ( and in this situation a lot more laws than just 10;DFFICULT) I would think HE does hear their Prayers.

But being real about this, and realizing just how much temptation there is in the World, it would cause you to be repenting ALL the time.

On another side note, Abraham sojourned in the Land, that today is known as Iraq.

Hope this helps you a bit. Love & Peace Forever in CHRIST!!!

There must be reasons why they don't accept Jesus as God. maybe they understand something that we don't . People that live near should be the one that understand the most i think.

Many times in the Bible peoples are displaced for a time as well as hearts of peoples getting cold towards God or becoming totally devoted to Him.

There will always be at the minimum a remnant of people who are true to God. A remnant being just a handful or less of people who didn't bow the knee to the false god.

If the Middle East was truly following God as they should, they would have peace and not be so in turmoil and bad off, you would think with all that oil there would be enough for all and everyone would just be nice to each other.

Up until the 5th 6th century many in the middle east were Christians some still are. The Quran contains many things from the Bible so they are influenced by Judaism and Christianity. It would be nice to see more Christians though.

One must realize that Islam, Judaism, and Christianity worship the
same God, but each after there own doctrines. This is where man has
'compartmentalized' God according to definition (webster), instead of
understanding that the Religion of God is Love (Matt22:37-40, James
1:27) according to scripture. So, then, this is why God can save those
who do not know the Word, but live it (love) according to their
conscience (Rom 2:14-15). But this is not the case for those who have
been enlightened by the TRUTH (Jesus Christ) thought the Holy Spirit,
but have rejected Him. I believe that any who truly seek the Lord will
be led to the Truth, which is Jesus, who is the Word, who was
concealed in the Old Testament, but reavealed in the New. This said,
Judaism and Islam are both false 'faiths', even though they
glorify God. Did not Jeus say that He would reject many who call
Him Lord? How much more than for those who don't? As Christians
though, we have compassion on all who are lost, not condemnors.

To answer your question concerning why the middle east is mostly
muslim (the way i see it by the Word and history), is that God's
people (the Tribes of Israel, 13 since Joseph's son were elevated
to 'son' status, where they really were Jacob's grandsons), were
taken away and dispersed into the world in their own time (the
Northern Kingdom +/- 450yrs before Judah in 70 ad) because they
rejected God. And the kingdoms which caused them to be carried
away brought in their own peoples or other peoples, and with them
their false religions. Of course, Islam did not appear until +/- 600
ad, but, because it is based upon other ancient writings, Moses
inparticular, it appeals to many. God, by rejecting men (because all
had rejected Him), but choosing to be the God of one man only,
who is Abraham, and showing Himself to the world by his family,
has made the world jealous for His Name. So, without God's chosen
people in the land (all 13 tribes, not just the 'Jew', who is a
descendant of Judah), the void was eventually filled with muslims.
I could be wrong in this because i don't know Islam, but i think they
claim the blessings given Abraham by God, through Ismael,
Abraham's first son.

But just as GOD prophesied and carried out HIs judgment to scatter
Israel for all their sins, He has fortold that He will unite them again
as one people (Ez36, and others). And now that the 'Jew' is
gathered there (Israel), we can be certain that we are much closer
to the day when all be gathered there. To be certain, the Jews are
not all Israel, but the 'Lost Tribes' will be gathered home, and then
shall Truth be throughout the Land.

I got to add one thing to what I posted,

That last sentence isn't completely right, When the Antichrist (instead of Christ) comes, for a small time there will be lots of peace and prosperity and then it won't be good at all.

Maybe because Christians are persecuted by Jews and Muslims so they leave.

Recently, the Jerusalem Post carried a piece quoting Rabbi David Rosen, a veteran of Catholic/Jewish dialogue, acknowledging that incidents of ultra-Orthodox Jews spitting at priests, nuns and other Christian clergy is “a part of life” in Jerusalem. Such incidents have been occurring for the last twenty years and are now on the rise, according to the story, although they appear to be limited to Jerusalem.

Orthodox Jews set fire to hundreds of copies of the New Testament in the latest act of violence against Christian missionaries in the Holy Land.
Or Yehuda Deputy Mayor Uzi Aharon said missionaries recently entered a neighborhood in the predominantly religious town of 34,000 in central Israel, distributing hundreds of New Testaments and missionary material.
After receiving complaints, Aharon said, he got into a loudspeaker car last Thursday and drove through the neighborhood, urging people to turn over the material to Jewish religious students who went door to door to collect it.
The books were dumped into a pile and set afire in a lot near a synagogue, he said.

The violence came amid claims of increased attacks and threats against Coptic Christians, who comprise roughly ten percent of Egypt's 80-million-strong population. Egyptian security forces recently intensified their presence in the Egyptian town of Dairout, after Copts reportedly expressed their concerns over leaflets entitled "These have to Die!".
"IMMORAL INFIDELS"
The publications urge Muslims in the area to "burn, vandalize and clean the country of these evil immoral infidels," Christians said.

A tense calm returned to a village in Indonesia's Central Maluku province, where angry Muslims torched churches, dozens of homes and other properties after a Christian teacher allegedly made comments insulting Islam, rights investigators said Wednesday, December 17.

ad nauseum.

I don't believe that is talking about Muslims but the seed of Ishmael. The religion came from a belief system that came later. though may are the descendent's.

and I don't know why you put IF your Christian I think thats wrong thats something for God to know, ignorant or not knowing the Word would be better said.

I know the history surrounding the seed of Ishmael. That being said, not all Arabs are Muslims. Islam was founded by the the Islamic Prophet Muhammad, who the Quran was given to. Islam did not exist before this.

The people of Nazareth, Jesus' home town, didn't accept him either. If a prophet is not accepted in his own town, How much more the Messiah.
Paul found this true when the gospel was rejected by the Jews, he went to the Gentiles.
It is not your physical proximity that makes you understand, but your spiritual state.

TWICE in History, Jerusalem was conquered by Muslims.

First time: by the Caliph Umar ibn Khattab (May God be pleased with him), he was also the Companion of the prophet Muhammad (on whom be peace and blessings)

How many were killed ? Greatkraw .. ??

Second time: by Saladin or Ṣalāḥ ad-Dīn Yūsuf ibn Ayyūb

How many were killed ? Greatkraw .. ??

Wanna make a comparison with the christians crusade and conquest of Jerusalem ?
