The Christian crusades,or so called, have nothing to do with Christianity, for in that fashion they were not Christians.

Jesus said turn the other cheek.
If they do not listen to your message, walk away.
Be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
Feed and clothe your enemies.
Do not fight for the kingdom of God by physical force.
Sell all you have and give to the poor.
The rich should distribute their money.
Love your enemies,do good to them that hate you, bless them that curse you,and pray for them that despitefully use you,and persecute you.

This is what the Bible teaches, and the only way you can be a Christian is to adhere to these ways, being like Jesus.

During the crusades, you are not dealing with Christians, but people who claim to be Christian, but are hypocrites.

Jesus said not everyone that calls Him Lord will be with Him.
The hypocrites will not be with Him.
Only those who act like Jesus will be with Him.

The only way someone can be a Christian is to act like Christ.
Hypocrites are not a Christian and are not with Christ.

Christianity is the same no matter how people act.
Hypocrites do not change Christianity, and do not void out Christianity.

You can point your finger at a person that claims to be with Christ and say hypocrite, but you can never point your finger at Christianity and put blame, for only people who act like Christ is a Christian.

The crusades were not Christians,if they acted in that fashion,so a person cannot blame Christianity for their behavior, but they were people who claimed Christianity, but were not Christians and did not belong to Christ.

The crusades was that government's cruel version of Christianity, which was not Christianity.

Do not blame Christianity for the crusades, for they were not Christian and not with Christ, which means they did not belong to Christianity,so Christianity cannot be blamed.

People that live near the biblical place should be the one that understand the story that God reveal all this time from Adam till Jesus. why most of them are Muslim, not christian.

ok Muslim/ Islam arose AFTER Jesus. OK?

why does it matter where people live? are you worshiping the LOCATION and not God? why should they understand the story that God revealed better then others, did they live during that time? is it ingrained in the stones that people can breathe in the truth by LIVING near where miracles happened?

I'm sorry your logic and reasoning does not make any sense.

They rejected Jesus then, why are you surprised they reject Jesus' message now?

And now they have created a culture where ignorance is so widespread that a Muslim comes onto this website and claims that being curcumcised prevents AIDS.
Your argument ignores our experience. When thousands of innocents were murdered on 9-11, what we saw was Muslims all over the world, dancing in the streets. Did you dance on that day?

the muslems are here, for a purpose, it is to create tensions in this world.and to bring the final clash; and God will wipe all the wicked
of the face of this earth. dont worry God knows what he is doing.
the clash will start in israel and spread.
the muslems believe in jesus but they dont follow his word, but
follow some other word. dont forget: satan believe in god also
but he trembles

yes the reason Islam is in the ascendancy in the middle east is because they killed the opposition or forced conversions

join the dots!!!!

In debunking the myth that Islam was "spread by the sword", the (non-Muslim) historian De Lacy O' Leary wrote:

"History makes it clear, however, that the legend of fanatical Muslims sweeping through the world and forcing Islam at the point of the sword upon conquered races is one of the most fantastically absurd myths that historians have ever accepted."
(Islam at the Crossroads, London, 1923, p. 8.).

Sorry Wake up this is where you are incorrect.

Muslims follow the teaching of Jesus pbuh and Christians follow the teachings of Paul.

Next time you hoe into your bacon and eggs think would Jesus pbuh have eaten this ?

When you look back over the year and see you have not fasted at all or perhaps one day as a novelty would Jesus have done the same ?

How did Jesus pbuh pray ? Do you get your face onto the ground when you pray ?

99% would say no.

Matt 23:1-5 "Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples, saying: "The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do. For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do to be seen by men."

Here is Jesus teachings. You need actions as well to get to heaven. There is no free ride.

Sorry Crazy4GODWord

Jesus pbuh was referring to the ceremonious cleaning of the hands that the pharisees used to do before eating. The Pharisees had a go at the disciples for not cleaning their hands before eating and Jesus told them eating unclean meat (unclean from hands) does not make you unclean.

Most of the people in the Middle East are Muslims mainly because it's a cultural thing more than anything else. In the middle east people rarely separate their culture from their religion. In America it is quite normal to separate one's culture from one's religion but not so much in the Middle east. This is a good question though, and thought provoking we should diligently pray for the Christians in the Middle east that are experiencing persecution.

No, I have my doubts Jesus would have eaten anything unlawful, I doubt Adam ate meat because God didn't give him permit ion to do so, but later gave permit ion to Noah. (I think He would have liked bacon He didn't have any law at that time forbidding him from it) (but he didn't like ham that much after what he did)

Genesis 1:29 *¶And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Genesis 1:30 *And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

Genesis 9:3 *Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

About the fasting Jesus did that quite a bit even more than half a day.

Jesus prayed with His head lifted up.

John 17:1 *¶These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

Moses talked to God face to face

Deuteronomy 34:10 *And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,

It is fitting for a slave to bow to the ground and a Son to look up to His Father.

The Pharisees strictly went by the law, what they would do is literally count the kernels of wheat to make certain they give God the tenth kernel so they made sure that they were fair you see.

The Sadducees on the other hand thought that there wasn't a resurrection and thats why they were sad you see.

Hi Giantone

Always good to see a big man that is humble.

The Pharisees went strictly by the law but the funny thing was that Jesus pbuh told his disciples to do what the Pharisees said (not do) exactly because of that reason.

muslems follow the teachings of Jesus??
Jesus said ""no man can come to the father(God) but by me.
this is only one of the many commandments that the muslems
ignore; how on earth can you say that the muslems follow christ.
trying to go to God, through an other man: not jesus.??
Jesus said; ''if you pray, go to your room, close the door, and pray.
not to make it a show, to be seen by men.(see; i am good, look at me)
God judges the heart, not the outside.men always like to show good
from the outside: it looks good to the eye only.

thank you for your comment.

The people of Moses, the people of Noah etc could only get to the father through following the prophet. If they rejected their prophet, they rejected God.

At the time of Jesus pbuh you can only get to God through Jesus pbuh. We are now in the era of another prophet. The spirit of truth.

If you reject one prophet, you reject them all.

Sorry it actually went like this.

Matthew 15:1
Then some Pharisees and teachers of the law came to Jesus from Jerusalem and asked, 2 “Why do your disciples break the tradition of the elders? They don’t wash their hands before they eat!”

The answer

Matthew 16-20
“Are you still so dull?” Jesus asked them. 17 “Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? 18 But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. 20 These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.

Hi Wakeup

This always seems to be the way. If you cannot backup what you say with scripture you dismiss the argument.

Have you ever wondered why John's gospel is so contradictory to the other three ?
