NP..... Lack of eloquence can be hidden by verbosity.

I really winced at that comment, also. There's huge spirituality around here from women, without which we'd just have the equivalent of a battlefield and carnage. And nobody belongs in a corner, except for homospirituals, of course...
Nah, they get set to their bedrooms without a computer or TV. (No cookies either.)

I didn't really wince at the comment. I had to laugh, because if there's a bunch of guys talking and the gals are talking in the other room, I tend to hide in the corner to listen to the guys. Problem. I'm a woman. It's not like I'm capable of shutting up for very long, so about half an hour to an hour later I notice I'm in the thick of the discussion wondering when I slipped out of hiding.

Not as much as you think, fortunately, guys think that way about us, so it works better. :D

Aw, crud... But what about the times when we wonderfully wise ladies WANT to watch you Godly men take it to the mat?

Or better yet, what about the times when WE want to take an issue to the mat ourselves?

(I always say, "I may not win the fight... But I'll make sure I give you a run for the money!" :))

So what are some characteristics of a homospiritual?

1) They talk like they are wearing a tunic, haven't bathed in 3 weeks and might smell like a hot foot forest: i.e. they say lots thee's and thous and dost's haveth noteth's and whatnot and some even think they have God's "secret" name.

2) They say "but" a lot.

3) They are cryptic in their posts. Kinda so they can have wiggle room I suppose.

I came up with 3...anyone else care to add?
Every one who disagrees with them is lying.

One of them told me that Jesus has personally told them, that l will never be saved.

I thought, nice.....that should be on a Hallmark card.

if you ask them a question, instead of answering, they put links to their 40-page long blogs.

or they say "by asking that question you've proven you are not worth my time"

Genesis 1 and genesis 2 can be construed as 2 separate creation stories. That is a thick issue though not related to the thread. Ive heard great explanations for it and ill post them if i find it.
IMO, It is NOT difficult to explain. Gen 1 is an overview of 6 days of creation. Gen 2 is a focus on the 6th day.

Gen 1 is looking at the creative process. Gen 2 is looking at relationships ind how they interrelate. One creation account; but two points of view.

yes -- not two accounts, but one, told twice, both times briefly, and once with some emphasis.
neither time is meant to be a textbook, but it's repeated to emphasize that it is true, and important to remember, that all things were made by God, according to His order. if we were birds or clocks or trees or planets, we would have been given a different emphasis, and details relevant to us in particular, i think.

((hopes i'm not being homospiritual lol))

To explain Jerseyisms. South Jersey wanted to secede from North Jersey, simply because the state is top heavy -- most folks in Jersey are Exit 7 and above. (BTW, Exits are how we measure the length of the state, because the Jersey Turnpike starts at Exit 1 right off the Delaware Memorial Bridge at the bottom of the state and Exit 18 is the George Washington Bridge into NYC.) Because most folks live up north, they win every single statewide election. Thus Yankees. I'm Southern, but in a Jersey kind of way. We don't even say, "y'all."

(Well, I do sometimes, but only because I also lived in VA for a while.)

I resolved the issue. I moved to Philly. Now I'm stuck with liberalism nonstop, but, at least I wasn't stuck with one of the few politicians that came from the South -- Florio. (Can't win, even when I try. lol)

You are confusing me! I thought Jersey was an Island in the English Chanel west of Normandy, France.

This is precisely the reason why I have no qualms about being harsh with them.
I agree; but it is important to try to differentiate between a true troll and someone who is obnoxious because they are hurting and don't know how to reach out for help. I've seen that twice; and both times they were slapped down and banned before anyone could try to help them.
