Im confused, why would someone in there teens or early twenties or unmarried talk about a wife being submissive?

There's a female corner?
I really winced at that comment, also. There's huge spirituality around here from women, without which we'd just have the equivalent of a battlefield and carnage. And nobody belongs in a corner, except for homospirituals, of course...

I cringed at that comment too but didn't realize it until you mentioned it. We have some really wise and wonderful ladies around here and i am really grateful for them.....they temper my wanting to take it to the mat. haha

The sad thing about this thread, is that the people who need to read it and hear the message are not engaging.

I guess we will just have to keep at it in their favourite threads. You know, the ones where they endlessly post the same cut and paste verses with their opinions of the out of context verses.

Who else is going to talk about that? It's like a joke a pastor told, can't tell well, myself. Middle aged and old people want the rapture, pray for the return of the Lord, yesterday, but not so much young people. Young people argue they don't want Christ to come back soon, as they have things to do, want to get married, haven't had a chance to live, yet. But six months after the wedding? Those young people are suddenly going, "Even so, come Lord Jesus!"

I have that same self deprecating sense of humor too. I just think it's great that JIA pointed out that there is not a one up one down thing going on here and that wisdom is wisdom and Godly is Godly whether its from a woman or a man.

American politics (just as in most countries politics nowadays) is not a choice between right and left.

it is a choice between left and less left.

Not to say the right wing is the correct path, but we haven't had an actually right wing president since reagan.

btw if i was to define my political affiliation it would be the disenfranchised party.
AHHA yeah I agree and if I were to define my political affiliation it would not be Republicrap or Democrap......It would be Idontgiveacrap............seems they are all full of crap!

Yeah, but it's like having to deal with a stopped-up drain everyday. It always happens to me, when trying to put too much garbage down the disposal unit. Some days you just shouldn't be fooling around with raw vegetables.

Kind of gives another spin on the term, "Spiritual Ninja."

Some will be thinking of a warrior.

Others will be thinking of a juicer...

The dog doesn't have the skills to pay the bills....unless it's like a show dog or champion hunting dog or something. :p

Yes, I think it's great I pointed that out, too. I am The JIA, and I will exalt my throne above the stars of The Sirk.

Whenever I start threads like this I'm reminded of that failed upstart liberal radio station. I think it was call air America or something like that. The point is that it failed because nobody listened to it. I think the legalists will fail too if we just stop listening to them.
Do we ignore them when they have their own "radio program?" Or do we ignore them when they have their commercials on other people's threads? Or both?

To tell you the truth, I do ignore their threads. The problem with ignoring them on other threads is someone is guaranteed to be new enough not to know this is a homospiritual so take offense, and then the thread gets wrapped around that tangent.

I think we hijack it with sarcasm and good happy fun stuff whilst protecting the bruised reeds and being "contagious Christians"!

Blasphemer! The JIA needs not bathrooms anymore, is the only one saved!
