i don't go against the Bible Linda.
i know what i says. you do not.
your theology is evidence of that. that's your problem.
you're able to actually study the Bible. but you choose another way.

i don't come off as a victim.
don't feel like one, don't act like one.

you i and i will never agree on anything Linda.[/quote

Playing the poor victim doesn't work on me Zone. Turning it around that you don't always go against what the bible says doesn't work on me either. Your problem is the word of God and not wanting it to be a part of you. Attacking Christians is your big time problem. You will reap what you've sowed. I pray you talk to God of sorry you don't think he talks right. I will pray for you, like I have. And no I have never thought that you pray for me. I wish the best for you.

You yourself said you don't believe in miracles. Your not meaning to be wrong but that is the same as not believing in God and you don't see that.
I never said I do not believe in miracles. I said I do not belive in modern day miracles. I also see the word miracle DIFFERENTLY than you do and the reason for them.

I explained my viewpoint on that and gave scripture in my explanation. Saying I do not believe in God is also very insulting. To me what you are saying is if I do not believe the way YOU see it then I don't believe in God. Well, I am sorry but you are incorrect there. God knows my heart. No one else does.

I guess where the issue lies is I tend to rely on scripture of the bible and faith. Not supernatural occurances.

Elizabeth, you were wondering...''who is in agreement with the devil?''

Zone has answered for herself.
I do not believe it is up to you to determine her heart.
My guess is people should read and try to understand where she is coming from.

Making accusations that she is evil is not really a good arguement.

I have interracted with zone very little on here, but I can tell you that alot of the problem is with her is she has the knowledge and the skills to debate. She presents the forum with information, and whether it be valid or invalid information she shows knowledge and intellect. Many people see intelligence as a threat and call others EVIL due to their lack of ability to come back with a proper rebuttal.

i'm not playing the victim Linda.
i dont go against the Bible. i know what it says.
you do not.

"not wanting it to be a part of me"? as in, the counterfeit gifts you think were the foundational gifts?
no, i want no part of that.

reading about the real gifts and what they were for is pure joy.
the Truth is really cool Linda. you should seek it sometime.

What is happening is a child of God is saying that prophets are real. The person didn't run around saying I'm a prophet, I'm a prophet. The person was attacked for saying prophets are alive today.

The one person is making a point to make the child of God look bad.

For one thing if a child of God wanted to say yes I'm a prophet so what. There are many. It is no shame what so ever that they do as God says. That's great.

What is wrong is for anyone to say there is no such thing. Mocking and making fun of God's people is no joking matter.

I agree with you that if one is a prophet should be a quite matter. But there is no rule written in the bible to say they must be quite about it. That's what we think. In the bible it just said prophet of God all the time.

You don't seem to understand anything I have said.

I am right now praying to the Lord for him to give you knowledge and understanding. Amen.

I have a question: what purpose would a modern prophet have?

You mean for a mortal man to have certain gifts above the average mortal man to prove Jesus is the real deal and heal others and perform miracles because apparently God can't do any of this on his own without going through men?
Not to mention a prophet would possibly be looked at as a type of authority in the church and the ONLY AUTHORITY is God. Not man.

I mean I can seriously see the need for Prophets and other supernatural occurances in this day and age.

It would make the Christian living MUCH easier if we has miracles, and signs. After all, Christianity is all about an earthly comfort.

We NEED these signs! Why? To make us feel better! The bible just isn't enough so God continues on with modern day prophets because man still doesnt have enough faith................. :/

But I would like to read responses, then I can know where the vacuum is coming from
that has caused so many to appear.

I have a question: what purpose would a modern prophet have?
ask one of our residents:

There most certainly are apostles today, just as there are prophets. They may not have come into the full authority of their appointed office yet, as God is withholding the coming judgment on the church. It ain't far away though.

But my question was more academic what would a modern prophet accomplish?
People fight to protect their existance. Maybe they can comment.

And I am praying as well. May our God answer our prayers and may He start at the beginning in Jesus' precious name......the DEMONBUSTER.COM website. How something such as this can be perceived as God's handiwork is nothing short of an abomination. Sorry Linda. It is what it is. God's grace in Christ be yours. Amen.
