The time part of the lie, is the magic part...that's the place where folks have to leave real reason and logic and go into the imagination. Im sure at some point the very premise of time and how time works will have to be discounted all together.

We soon will here a theory that time is like some mist that formed from some black hole ...before time could even be measured.

These folks are just in a silly religion that makes most conspiracy theories sound like sound logic.

Isn't there a group out there that believes time doesn't really exist?

The time part is actually kind of like their Achilles' Heel, and even a lot of them are aware of this, but they can't reduce the time nor just leave it where it is because they have to have more time to make the theories seem workable. Pretty much without all their theories there's really just no need for a long period of time. Without a large amount of time everything from Darwinism to their false cosmology becomes impossible.

Brilliant. That removes all objections, and explains the non existent transitional fossils.

This is how perfect and truthful God's message in Genesis is for us.

What will it matter for you in your daily life what happened in that way-back time, however long ago it was? It seems it should be sufficient to be given an answer and then carry on to put food on a table and a roof over heads. Many people are content to answers handed them and carry on. Maybe that's best.

We are all as little children to God. God is truthful to us as a loving parent.

A child might ask a parent, "what is a squirrel?". The parent might say, "a squirrel is a little furry creature who lives in a tree and eats acorns". Has the parent lied? Certainly not, not even in some obfuscation intended by omission, but that parent has not explained to that child the "full nature of the squirrel", because it really isn't necessary at the time and it really wouldn't help the child. Certainly, the child would stand there, blank-eyed, mouth agape, likely to lose interest from the wandering thoughts in his mind, were the parent to go on to say, among other details, "squirrel is a mobile construct of many, many smaller parts, tissues, cells, molecules, atoms, sub atomic particles" and so on, in great detail. Perhaps for the practical functioning of the child, at the time, the parent may actually be doing the child a disservice.

What is time to God? What is time, anyway?

The child might ask the parent, "how old is the squirrel?". The parent, who might be particularly biologically understanding of squirrels, might say, "that squirrel is about five years old.". Now, to the child's perspective, this is perfectly true. What the parent might not say, at the time, is that time is relative, that the reason the child has a perspective of "five years" is because the child lives on a planet, moving through a solar system, which is moving through a galaxy, which is moving through a universe, and were everything to be moving even a small amount faster, the squirrel might appear to live a different amount of time. This wouldn't help the child, who really only wanted a short answer before he goes out to play.

God doesn't lie to us, but also God reveals to us more relative truths, over time, as we're ready to handle them. To everything there is a season. There are many messages in Genesis, but the most important is that God is (He wants us to know Him), that God created (He set this in motion), that this "place" is for us, and He loves us. Please remember those things and don't let the "hashing of the details" come between us.

Does this mean that you think men are really evolved monkeys? Because if you believe that? The whole truth of God ..sin in Adam ..redemption in Christ on His Cross ...is brought into nothing more than a moral fairy tale with no real power to save and convert the hearts of men in the Power of Gods Spirit.

It's not so black and white as that. Those choices you propose are not the only choices, "truth or fairy tale". That's not fair or correct.

Well I speak in context of the truth of the gospel and the dependence upon the truth of Gods Word and power...so for me it is black and white and I aim to challenge anyone who would try to take such a unbiblical position as to suggest that monkeys become people. Your perception that its unfair is based on your own ideas of fairness...not mine.

And that's fine. Not to "challenge your challenge", but true faith in God might stipulate He has this all under control and we should trust in Him to sort this out in peoples' hearts and minds, rather than make it a problem between you and me. We're both seekers, we both want truth, and I believe as you, "there is one truth", and further "that truth is in God", but we all also have our own truths, our own perspectives what we take from what we see, and we need to accept that as we go forward.

I want to reconcile with you, person to person. I'd very much like to see you stop calling people "stupid", as I'm trying to be patient and not call you "stupid". I honestly don't think you are stupid, just different, and different is ok. God made us this way.

Well I can have a civil conversation with anyone that respects Gods word and submits in a honest way to its truth. What I don't do is play a game where I allow faith in the truth to be made subject to a so-called science that has proven itself to be deceptive in almost every idea it presents. Now I have made clear that I believe the whole premise of evolution is not based on real logic and reason, but random ideas based more on the logic found in a conspiracy theory than sound and provable science. I have not spoken to you on a personal level until now...and I think its very fair to say that most evolutionist do use terms such as "stupid" and ignorant to describe biblical Christians ...so my post has been in large part to make a point about who is really using sound logic and reason.

I'm replying to this to let you know I read it and I'm not ignoring you. I don't have more to add right now, though.

Basically you have to believe evolution and assume the evidence from the stand point that evolution is true, before you can have any evidence for evolution.
There is no evidence for it; adaptation to a changing environment within a species is one thing, but as has already been noted, there are absolutely no transitional fossils between species, and scientists cannot point to any example of a genetic mutation or any evolutionary process which can be seen to increase the genetic information in the genome, so how bacteria was supposed to evolve into humanity is more than a stretch, it is a sheer fabrication in the minds of men who wish to deny the existence of God.

If monkeys become people ...why do we still have monkeys and we don't have monkeys in the process of becoming people?

I mean if you believe millions of years ago monkeys became men...why did the evolution process stop with certain monkeys? Why do we now have monkeys..why did those monkeys not change as the other monkeys did... and if evolution is real science, why did process change some monkeys and leave other monkeys as monkeys? Why don't we see some monkeys changing to men now? Same monkeys they claim was around millions of years ago? Why does evolution only work in the imagination of some people who deny God as Creator?
I think Disny answered it all with the Jungle Book film.

Yea ...im mean how stupid does someone have to be to think monkeys become people? Is that your point? Because its mine.
Well its because they look like us and have the same sort of characteristics as we do. They are the closest looking and acting animals to humans aren't they. Apart from the opposable thumbs that is.

You wouldn't look at a dolphin and think it would you? :)

That said, who's to say dolphins wernt once people that had had enough of paying taxes and Justin Bieber and decided to live in the Sea.

Mermaids.
