that's NOT? what he said? lol 1 Corinthians 6:9 , galatians 5:19-21, how we live determines everything. what we truly believe, determine how we live. that's righteousness by Faith, believing God made you new, and Living that out. to accept the true word is everyuthing
We all know that we don't follow and obey 100% of the time. So what constitutes a stumble or a fall into loss of salvation?

10 days of stumbling= loss of salvation?

100 days of stumbling= loss of salvation?

1000 days of stumbling= Loss of salvation?

When does loss of salvation take place? Praying just 50% of the time? Not doing good 5 or 10 times when we know we should?

What is the standard?

loss of salvation puts a child of God in the Lake of Fire forever. consequences so large, that we should know.......without a doubt.

What is the standard protocol of enough obedience to stay saved? Could you please tell us?

This is what so many of us get backwards, actually ending up thinking: " How we live, determines our "standing" in God."

It "sounds" good, on the surface, but it is really just Pharisaical reasoning.
I'm all out of Reps for you right now, Willie.

I have seen for years the minimization of obeying. I have already been through the grace alone thing, 15 years ago my friend. it leads somewhere else. but ill let your words here stand and Let the Lord sort this out in each persons Heart. The grace thing, is just a simple part of how and why we are to obey period. its our provision. Motivation? Jesus. Listen you have faith that you are saved by Grace, Have faith in the rest of His words. Like I have said multiple times. I do not judge ANYONES salvation, Not even My own, I look forward to a new Home where if I am the last in the door, have to sit waaaay in the back ill be happy for eternitI ive been through the g.o.g. .....im saying as I have continually, that is one small piece of the puzzle. The issue with all things are already done for you is that it makes it hard to understand that we are servants of the Lord. I think joseph prince should study more about the purpose of Grace, the thing is tho, obedience to God doesn't sell many books, people want to hear we don't need to commit. I honestly cant see how you guys just ignore the many clear straight forward scriptures.....actually I do understand exactly How. Just misunderstanding Paul. Like I said in the op, this is my last argument on this,.......if anyone will accept thwe word ( which btw, the word is what sanctifies) minimizing Obedience to God, is not from God. eternally its about obedience to God in Love for Jesus. and I think the op, and rest of the bible make it very clear what it is to Love God. whether you guys want to say all by grace, the actual matter is DO WE LOVE GOD? it is the great commandment, or does pauls words change the commandment? wich is ? to Obey Gods commands." This is Love, that we walk in obedience to His commands...." so its great to say I love everyone, I'm saved, ect......but if we are not following after with all of our heart that command, are we LOVING God with all of us? when Love to Him, and Jesus is clearly purposely described. over and over...obey....follow....do. its okay to be saved by Grace, when you are a fire will ignite to follow the Lord. God bless
Which is just a long way of saying you tried grace and then went back to the Law. I pray you are only confused as the alternative gives you little hope.

This is not in this case, a mis-understanding ...this is deliberate as this truth has been told over 100x times now at the very least from many different people in CC about what is really being said.

This is the real issue which you have isolated correctly and in truth.

IMO we really owe people that have this kind of behavior nothing but to love them!....:)
...

actually, I haven't accused anyone of anything. saying the truth does what it is supposed to do. the g.o.g. the popular one out there. is true. but it is a small part. for instance joseph prince once in a great while hell say " sin, oh yeah I'm against it, anyways, this is how to be blessed and healed friends" repentance is a requirement. grace does not force us, its an offer and it can be accepted or rejected. the gospel of grace is true, but Jesus is far more and makes things very clear when were not just looking for words to support not having to repent, or not having to obey. I'm sorry yopu guys feel attacked n all that, not my intention and Jesus knows this, I honestly don't care if I'm disliked, its an honor to be saying obey Jesus and Have peeps get upset with you truthfully, Just another word of God that's true. even though a person resists the truth, Later if it roots it will produce fruit in their Life......
That post was not for you Jason...you are new here...this is describing those that has been told things over and over again and deliberately and consistently mis-represent what is really being said.

Hopefully in this thread you will see for yourself what believers in the "gospel of grace" really believe. Ignore my post above as it doesn't pertain to you....:)

Tell me.......... Two men are "believers."

One of them hardly ever gets to go to church because he is with the sinners, doing what he can to bring Christ's love to their lives........ The other is at his church three times a week, spending hours devoutly praying and worshiping. When he is not at church, he is on his knees at home, sending up prayers until the wee hours of the morning.

Which is living the life that demonstrates his beliefs? And, "obedience."

So you are perfect? Is that what you're saying?

What is it about Jesus' death and Resurrection that's not good enough for your salvation?

lol naw ive said several times I'm not perfect, sin is a concession " I write this so you will not sin, if someone does sin, we have an advocate" My heart is set on Jesus words Like it is commanded, when I stumble I repent, he forgives and heals making me stronger.....you all can see what you will. the scriptures in the op, honestly kind of speak volumes. cant really be said they are out of context or anything, comes down to loving God, Loving God is obeying Him, cant really say I made this up after studying Gods word though, ive prolly given 50 sets of scripture over the past few days that are clear. that's why this is my last post on the matter. ive given a good solid pile of evidence, the grace I understand, obedience is Love for God. and Jesus is everything, couldn't have been saved without Him, would have always been a sinner headed to hell without Jesus......we aren't to judge ourselves another thing the paul people miss Him saying, even He did not judge himself because He understood there is one Judge

That, my Brother, is exactly how we, who believe in grace alone, live our lives. :)

I have found at least 7 things about doing the will of God on this earth now that we are in Christ.

1) That we have eternal life in Christ - John 6:40

2) That we be filled with the Holy Spirit - Eph 5:16-21

3) That we live a pure, disciplined lifestyle - 1 Thess 4:3-4 ( we live out that holiness that is already in us in our new man ..created in Christ in righteousness and holiness )

4) That we are rejoicing in the Lord, praying without ceasing, and grateful - 1 Thess 5:16-18

5) That we be a law-abiding citizen - 1 Peter 2:13-16

6) That we believe and influence others to believe - 2 Peter 3:9

7) That we commit ourselves to God and other believers - 2 Cor 8:5

According to the works-based salvationists...if someone is not joyful one day or didn't pray for a couple of days...or was not grateful for a day or so and they died..then they would go to hell because they didn't do " the will of God"..( see #4 above )....how foolish this nonsense is when you do not factor in the grace of Christ's finished work for our salvation only.

What about #5 above...if you speed and crash your car and die..you go to hell because you were not doing " the will of God"...again the complete foolishness of people that say..not doing the will of God are not
saved when we don't factor in the new creation in Christ and that we are saved by grace through faith only.

The "doing of the will of God" for salvation is to believe on Christ and it is by grace through faith only - no works. Eph 2:8-9

Good works follow salvation are in fact the "fruit" of salvation but not the "root" Eph2:10 we are saved unto good works which is a manifestation of His life living through and in us.

The saint who rests in Christ and in His finished work is the will of God and what appears to be his free choices are actually God's will for him. It's loving God because you know His love for you, doing what is inside of you under His influence. Phil 2:13

This may come as a surprise to some people, but I honestly do believe BOTH of them are. And, I mean that in a positive and good way for each of them.

depends on if they are following Jesus words or not. certainly nothing wrong with prayer n church, but really the place to be is out in the world, not indulging with sinners, but Loving them with Gods word. everywhere we go in life there is an opportunoity to make a difference whether in church or at the lake, a barbeque work ect My point to your question would be no matter where you are or who you are with, follow the teachings of Jesus. or in other words practice Jesus teachings. who Loved sinners and rebuked the self righteous. it doesn't really matter what argument comes against following Jesus teachings, its the way to life. No one should follow me, imj saying Learn and follow Jesus with all of thier Heart, and that will always be the absolute truth of Gods word. Loving others is Love for God. but Love is what He taught. the op has some good scripture to ignore if someone chooses. No ones perfect gotta accept obedience to Christ tho, its the way

And this is where our "judging" comes in. I say, "If they are acting in accordance with what they understand as Jesus saying."
Another might say, "No! Only if they are acting in accordance with the way I read Jesus' words."

What is the standard protocol of enough obedience to stay saved? Could you please tell us?
It's not a question of enough obedience, but of too much disobedience. Only GOD knows that threshold. That's what the fear of GOD is all about.

But many of us sure want to take His place, and declare OUR OWN standard.

That's not what he said. The Corinthians were living carnally, yet had eternal life. The Corinthians were living worldly lives, yet had eternal life.

At what point do you lose eternal life? How much worldly living does it take? How many sins does it take to disqualify you?[
Ask GOD. He's the one who makes that decision.
