Thanks for answering the question I presented

But do you know me; tell me what sin I indulge in? What sin am I committing? I should sin because I'm under grace?

Have I sinned? Yes
Do I continue to sin? No
Do I face temptation daily? Yes

Because you choose to fall to your desire, don't make that the standard for everyone else that chooses this walk. Again, you rest your entire belief system of sin on 1 John 1 and I will continue to do as Christ told the woman caught adultery after he saved her from condemnation and we can agree to disagree.
The sin of deceiving yourself and calling God a liar.

Such foolish pride and arrogance.
What is amazing to me is that you have made no actual attempt to explain the verses I posted; Nor have you shown me any love or concern with your words. Prove that you are a good Berean. Prove that you are true child of God that loves. Prove that Christ is within you (2 Corinthians 13:5).

You can believe that if you wish, but I believe God and His word as recorded in 1 John.
You are deceiving yourself and calling God a liar by that statement.
If you believe the Word of God, then you do Jesus a disservice and slander his sacrifice. Jesus came to free us from sin. To free the Prisoners. To free us from the law of sin and death. You seem to still be a slave looking for excuses.

There are always snake bites. Man is always tested. You shake them off. I feel a bad thought coming, I shake my head like a bug just landed on it. The enemy is out there and always tempting, but if you are living in the Spirit you are free.

Many on CC have tried to explain the correct understanding of many scriptures, but reject all that do not agree with your misunderstanding.
I am very concerned for you and your soul and I pray for you often.
I pray that God will reveal the truth to you but at the same time I pray that God will silence you and the hersey you teach.
I love all of God's creation but I love His Word more than any man.

You asked me "what sin am I committing" and I answered you.
I asked you 2 questions but that's not even important. The fact remains that neither one of us are going to let up regarding this topic. As long as we agree that we have an advocate to the Father if (which no one will address why John chose to use "if" instead of "when" but I digress :p) we sin, that should be all that matters. It's just turning into words being tossed.

I will be praying for you, too. But if you say you love His Word, then why can't you explain the verses I brought up? Do you know that Jesus said, why do you call me Lord, Lord if you do not do what I say? Did not Jesus command us to do many things? Do you think we can follow ourselves instead of Jesus and still be saved?

Yes we do have an advocate to the Father, on that we can agree.
I will pray for you.

What was Jesus' reaction when He knew He would be rejected as the Messah? Well, Jesus weeped over the fact that they would reject Him when he overlooked the city.

What was Jesus' reaction when he talked with the Pharisees (the Jews)? Well, many times Jesus had gotten very upset with them. At one time, Jesus said that they ignored the weightier matters of the Law like justice, love, and mercy. Jesus condemned them for their actions. So it was not just in the fact that they rejected Him as their Messiah. It was more than that. They also rejected in doing the right things of God, too. What makes the believer today think they can act like a Pharisee and not anger the Lord?

Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. (Romans 11:20-22).

I know that you say that you do not teach works for salvation or to keep salvation. but when you say you MUST follow Jesus, KEEP His comandment to remain saved that is taking eternal life-salvation-out of the hands of Jesus and into your own hands and that is WORKS.
Where you and I disagree is you are relying on your no sinning for eternal life and I place my hope totally in the hands of Jesus. He does not need my help
Because of that reletionship I have with Him, I strive every hour of every day to live for Him, learn more of Him, tell others of Him, and never disapoint Him.
The spirt is willing but the flesh is weak and I fail often, When I do fail, I ask and receive His forgiveness.
It is all about Jesus and what He does, and never about me and what I do or don't do.

So you are of the belief that it was impossible for Christ to sin? While Christ was not born of man, he was MAN. He was in the sinful flesh and according to Hebrews 2

So how can Christ be like his brothers in "every respect" but yet the propensity to sin be missing. Hebrews 4 also states that

If Christ couldn't sin, then why was he ever tempted. If Christ couldn't sin, how could he sympathize with our weakness? Thing is, he didn't sin.
Why is it that you guys jump to your own conclusions and assume, add to or imply I said something that I did not say.....what part of the following statement do you see me say the things you assume I believe?

Telling people to obey Jesus is never wrong. You make it sound like it is bad to obey our Lord. For can Jesus be a person's Lord and not do what He says? According to Jesus this would be a no. Yet on the other hand you are saying you do everything for him and yet.... yet... you allow room to fall into sin. Are those times you fall into sin something you want? Or is that something God wants? God does not take sin lightly. Sin put Jesus Christ on the cross. Why would God ever want you to keep falling into sin? That does not make any sense. Jesus said be ye perfect as our Heavenly Father is perfect. If you are a child who is free, then free you will be indeed. For Jesus Christ was manifested to destroy the works of the devil.

Now, I do not believe I am saving myself of my efforts. How so? Well, for one, I know that a believer get's their heart right with God by confessing and forsaking their sin and they do not get their heart right with God by going out and doing a bunch of good works. Good works is just the proof or evidence that Christ (God) lives within you. If there is no fruit, then there is no Savior living in a person who is giving them salvation.

Granted, although I do not believe in salvation by works.... if I were to choose which one was more evil, I would have to say...

Doing evil is more evil than say somebody trying to do things to please God.

Yes, man's righteousness is pretty sick, twisted, and dumb, too. But that does not give us an excuse to ignore the righteousness of God that the Lord wants to do thru us. That does not give us the excuse to say that we will forever be a slave to our sin.

Jason, people...yea many people have explained the truth to you and you will do the following...

1. Argue based upon your own false salvation lite doctrine
2. Argue and automatically say that we say something that is not true
3. Jump to unfounded conclusions
4. Reject the context and verb tenses that prove your fallacy

and to be quite frank...you listen to no one and think you know everything and that is why people will not engage you!
